Aleksei Volkov's POV
Fuck! Please! Argh....Alek!!! The slut underneath him moaned and screamed, her hands gripping the sheets tightly as she tried to take his hard thrusts.
"Just take it like the cheap whore you are"! He groaned going faster.
"Please! Please! Please! Don't stoop!" she cried out.
Minutes later he groaned finally reaching orgasm. He held her closer and came inside her.
Ahhh! Fuuuuck! She cried out reaching orgasm too.
Alek pulled out of her, got up from the bed and discarded the condom.
"Fuck off! Alek said to the slut coldly.
"That was the best fuck I've ever had. She said smiling. "Can I come back later?"
"No! Fuck off woman"
"Come on, u enjoyed it didn't you? I'll come back later for us to go again" she said smiling seductively.
Alek opened his dresser and brought out a pistol.
"OmG!! I'll leave please please don't kill me! She said with tears already streaming down her cheeks. She ran out without even picking up her clothes.
.....
The city smelled like smoke, blood, and opportunity.
Aleksei Volkov stood on the balcony of the most expensive penthouse in Blackridge, sipping vodka chilled to perfection. He didn't need to break into Lucien Castillo's world with guns blazing. No, that was Kol's mistake. Maximus's too.
Lucien was chaos.
Aleksei? He was precision.
Below, the people in the city were having fun unaware they will soon be dissected.
"Sir," Ivan, his right hand, approached quietly, "Kol's empire is gone. Burned to ash. Castillo was... thorough."
Aleksei didn't blink. "I expected nothing less."
Ivan hesitated. "There's more. The girl. The one Kol had, she's still alive."
A smirk spread across Aleksei's face. "So she survived."
"She's at Castillo's estate. Guards everywhere. Locked down."
Aleksei turned away from the window, his pale blue eyes sharp as blades. "That woman... she's special. Not just to Castillo. She has a past. A price. I've heard whispers."
"Do you want her taken?"
He laughed, quietly, coldly.
"No, no, no. Not yet. We don't take. We watch. We wait. When you play chess with a king, you don't flip the board. You remove the pawns, one by one."
Ivan nodded, understanding.
Aleksei placed his glass down on the table, walked over to a map spread across the table. It showed Blackridge divided into territories, red pins marking Lucien's control.
He picked up a black pin and drove it into the map—just a few blocks from Lucien's estate.
"We set up there. A club. Flashy. Loud. Make noise, but not too much. Let him feel us breathing on his neck. Let him wonder."
"And the girl?"
Aleksei paused.
"There's something about her. I want to know what makes her so... valuable. Why Lucien Castillo would butcher a city for her."
Ivan frowned. "You think she's more than just a lover?"
"I know she is. Men like Lucien don't bleed for just sex. They bleed for leverage. For threats. For power."
He lit a cigar, took a slow drag, and blew smoke into the air like a predator.
"Kol was stupid. Maximus was a brute. I'm neither."
He walked back Inside and went towards a large cabinet, unlocking it to reveal a wall of weapons sleek, black, pristine.
"This isn't war yet, Ivan. It's foreplay."
---
Across the room, another man sat in silence. His name was Luka Aleksei's younger cousin, and far more dangerous than he looked. He had the face of an angel and the soul of a devil.
"She's beautiful," Luka said, his eyes glued to a photo on his phone. Gemma's bruised face, taken from a distance as she was wheeled into the Castillo estate.
"She's broken," Aleksei corrected.
Luka smiled faintly. "Broken things are easier to own."
Aleksei's eyes flicked to him, something dark flashing in his gaze. "You don't own something like her. You manipulate it. Use it. Twist it into a blade."
"And when that blade cuts you?" Luka asked casually.
Aleksei leaned in, tapping the side of his head. "I don't bleed."
---
Later that night, as the penthouse emptied out and Ivan arranged everything need for the club, Aleksei stood alone in the dark.
He pulled out a phone. Not his regular one, a black, untraceable burner.
He dialed a single number.
It rang once.
Then twice.
Then connected.
"Is the weapon still in play?" Aleksei asked.
A female voice replied, cold and sharp. "Yes. And waiting."
Aleksei's smile returned. "Good. Then tell her... it's time to wake up."
He hung up, staring out into the city.
Lucien Castillo had ruled Blackridge for too long. He'd become arrogant, sentimental... vulnerable.
All because of a woman.
Aleksei didn't plan to kill Lucien.
He planned to destroy him from the inside out and Gemma would be the match that'll lite the fuse.
Let me know if the next chapter should go back to Lucien's POV or continue from Gemma's as she starts sensing something's wrong.
