Emily's POV
After seeing the two girls who looked very innocent and beautiful, I couldn't bear to reject what they were telling me to do. I mean, they also wanted to escape from this place, and I understood that perfectly. Hence, they wanted me to become their father's mate.
But after thinking about that request, I found it really strange. They seemed to call Zarel their father, but there was no emotional attachment. And then they told me that I should be mated to Zarel so that they would be able to escape with me. If Zarel was their father, then why would they want to escape from this place? Wouldn't this be their home forever? Why would they want to leave if this was really their home?
