Chapter 87 - Chapter 87: The Possibility of Synthesizing Magical Creatures

It was a pitch - black night, and the atmosphere in the dark office was extremely oppressive.

"Why was the matter exposed!" Professor Snape frowned tightly and asked in confusion.

Headmaster Dumbledore sighed and said with a helpless look on his face.

"I've looked into it. The news came from the cured werewolf. Although he didn't directly say that Muggles could gain Magic Power, some people have already caught a glimpse of the potential!"

Professor Snape pondered for a while and said in a dry tone, "I've already warned him not to produce the finished product!"

"As long as there's no result, it'll always be just a rumor!"

Headmaster Dumbledore remained silent, clearly giving his tacit approval.

Professor Snape didn't dwell on this topic any longer. He held up the blended potion in his hand and looked at Headmaster Dumbledore.

"So, what about this potion? Destroy it? If there's no result, he won't give up. If he takes matters into his own hands, there'll be a lot of... "

Hearing Professor Snape's implied words, Headmaster Dumbledore couldn't help but frown. He took the potion and muttered, "I'll handle it!"

"This potion can only be used by the person who provided the spiritual blood. Since you provided the spiritual blood, so..."

Here, Professor Snape paused briefly and then went on to talk about the conditions for using this potion.

"The timing of drinking this potion is also crucial. It involves an ancient magic ritual and should be used in combination with the potion."

"Got it! I'll take care of it. I've got other things to do, so I'll take my leave!"

Hearing this series of instructions, Headmaster Dumbledore quickly agreed, looking as if he was very busy, and then disappeared in the firelight.

Watching Headmaster Dumbledore disappear, Professor Snape leaned weakly against the wall and said softly:

"Sure enough, there are no airtight walls in this world. I hope it'll never be exposed! Otherwise, it'll be difficult to deal with..."

In the dark office, only a sigh echoed in the end.

The castle at night appeared extremely gloomy. Light walked silently in the corridor, deep in thought.

"If I had to choose, which magical creature should I choose as my transformation form?"

"A dragon? A unicorn? Thestral? A giant? A Boggart? They're all so tempting!"

The more Light thought about it, the more excited he became, and his steps became much lighter.

"All these magical creatures can be obtained with Hagrid's assistance. Then..."

At this time, a bold idea popped into Light's mind, and he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

"Is there any possibility of synthesizing magical creatures? Hagrid bred the Blast - ended Skrewt. Can I ask him to help breed a magical creature with two traits!"

"If it works out, I'll have more options! But I still need to ask Hagrid if it's viable. If it is, I'll have many more choices."

Thinking of this, Light became even more excited and even wanted to go to Hagrid right away!

Just then, a meow snapped Light out of his excitement. After taking a few deep breaths, he managed to calm himself down.

Filch's hasty footsteps were getting closer and closer. Light cast Disillusionment Charm on himself.

Light was torn between going to see Hagrid and returning to the dormitory. Finally, he forced himself to accept the fact that Hagrid had to work at night.

Filled with excitement, Light returned to the dormitory first, planning to take a good rest and then visit Hagrid the next day.

Under Filch's searching gaze as he looked for those wandering at night, Light swaggered back to the dormitory.

After returning to the dormitory, when Harry Potter was asleep, Light secretly used an owl to send a letter to Hagrid.

He told Hagrid that he would go to play with him the next afternoon!

Watching the owl fly away, Light secretly made a plan. He could just come up with a few combination plans during class the next morning.

"Co - co - co." The hooting of the owl woke Light from his reverie.

Light smiled, stroked the owl a few times, and gave it some "reward" before going to bed. With anticipation, he slowly fell asleep.

The next day, in the dark Potions class.

Professor Snape, standing on the podium, was talking about the potion to be brewed in this class, but unusually, Light was not Attending Classes. Instead, he was scribbling in a notebook!

During this class, unusually, Professor Snape didn't pick on Harry Potter. Instead, he kept staring gloomily at the absent - minded Light.

"Thestrals that can't be seen without meeting certain conditions and Boggarts that can turn into the fears of others!"

"This combination can create a creature that those who can't face their fears cannot see and that can turn into others' fears."

"Or perhaps, a spherical bird that can teleport and a dragon with powerful Magic Power and physique. Maybe this could combine to form the power of infinite teleportation."

"Also, the Niffler that can find treasures and the Thunderbird that can control storms. Maybe we could create a thunderbolt that can track!"

...

At Professor Snape's announcement, all the young wizards in the classroom began to brew potions.

While the young wizards were brewing the potion, Professor Snape watched Light brewing the potion absent - mindedly. Instead of scolding him, he kept pacing around him.

Under the worried looks of Harry Potter and his two friends and with the constant interference of Professor Snape pacing around.

Light didn't come to his senses, but he skillfully brewed the potion without making a single mistake.

After class, in Professor Snape's dissatisfied gaze, Light absent - mindedly handed the brewed potion to Professor Snape for grading.

After class, without saying goodbye to Harry Potter and the others, Light rushed straight out of the castle to find Hagrid to learn about the possibility of cross - breeding magical creatures!

Running in a hurry all the way, Light stood out of breath in front of Hagrid's hut.

Bending down and holding his knees with both hands, he gasped for breath. He felt that he should learn Apparition sometime!

'Otherwise, traveling on foot doesn't quite match the style of a wizard!'

When Light had recovered a bit, Hagrid just opened the door and walked out.

Stroking the hound Fang that leaped towards him, Light greeted Hagrid with a smile and then got straight to the point:

"Is it possible to cross - breed magical creatures? If so, can we incorporate the ability advantages of both parents into the offspring..."

Hagrid rubbed his belly as if he had just had a full meal and let out a burp! After doing some Research, he shared his opinion:

"I've done some Research on this. It's possible to cross - breed magical creatures. However, it's possible to pass on all the ability talents of the parents to the offspring, but these talents will be weakened!"

Hearing this news, Light didn't feel sorry, as this was within his expectation.

Then, Light handed the plan he had written in the morning to Hagrid to judge which one was feasible!

Hagrid took the notebook, on which Light had cast the Enlargement Charm, with his broad palm and began to read it carefully.

Light didn't interrupt him. Instead, he squatted down and played with Fang.

After a long time, Hagrid closed the notebook and explained in a very professional manner:

"Many of the plans you considered won't work. The key to cross - breed magical creatures is that there's no conflict between the bloodlines of the two magical creatures."

"If one is too strong and the other is too weak, it won't work!"

"If their attributes conflict, it won't work either!"
