Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Secrets Unveiled – The Mighty Clans of Konoha

A Different Atmosphere in the Classroom

As Satoru stepped into the classroom, he immediately sensed something…

off.

The usual lively chatter was now replaced by silence.

Every student turned to stare at him—curious, suspicious, and… in awe.

Kakashi, arms crossed, glanced at the bandages on Satoru's shoulder, then muttered:

"Just one day… and that wound is already almost healed."

Obito nodded, eyes widening.

"Don't tell me… Sensei has some kind of automatic healing jutsu!?"

Gai clenched his fists, eyes blazing with determination:

"YOSH! Could this be the peak of Taijutsu mastery!? Sensei has trained to the level of instant regeneration!?"

Ebisu adjusted his glasses, voice serious.

"…No. This level of recovery… it's beyond normal ninja physiology."

The entire group nodded in agreement.

Satoru broke into a cold sweat.

If they keep suspecting me like this, I'm screwed.

He quickly cleared his throat and diverted their attention with the day's lesson.

The Mighty Clans of Konoha

Satoru turned to the board and wrote three legendary names:

🔹 The Uchiha Clan – Masters of the Sharingan, prodigies of the battlefield. 🔹 The Senju Clan – Founders of Konoha, famed for their all-rounded strength. 🔹 The Uzumaki Clan – Masters of sealing jutsu, known for their immense life force and longevity.

The classroom erupted with excitement.

Rin raised her hand eagerly:

"Sensei! Is the Uchiha Clan the strongest?"

Obito smirked proudly, crossing his arms:

"Of course! Uchiha are the best! Sharingan is invincible!"

Kakashi shot him a glance but said nothing.

Satoru simply smiled and threw back a question:

"If the Uchiha are the strongest… then why wasn't the First Hokage an Uchiha?"

Silence.

Obito scratched his head.

"Uhhh… well… um…"

Satoru nodded before explaining:

"The Uchiha were powerful, but it was the Senju Clan who laid the strongest foundation for Konoha. The First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, wasn't just a powerhouse—he was a leader who sought peace."

He walked around the room, continuing:

"But there was another clan—not as famous as the Uchiha or the Senju—yet just as important…"

He tapped his chalk on the final name.

The Uzumaki Clan.

Rin blinked in surprise.

"I thought they were just sealing masters… but were they really that strong?"

Satoru smirked.

"The Uzumaki bloodline was special. Their lifespan, healing ability, and chakra reserves were far beyond normal ninjas. On the battlefield, they were called 'immortals' because they were almost impossible to kill."

Gasps filled the room.

Gai's jaw dropped.

"Then… weren't they practically invincible!? Why don't we see any Uzumaki today?"

Satoru's smile faded.

Setting the chalk down, his voice turned serious.

"Because… they were wiped out."

The room fell dead silent.

"…What?"

The Tragic History of the Uzumaki Clan

Satoru sighed before continuing:

"The Uzumaki were once one of the most powerful clans, but their strength made other nations fear them. The other villages saw them as a threat… so they joined forces to wipe them out."

Rin covered her mouth, horror in her eyes.

Obito clenched his fists.

"Then… what happened to the survivors?"

Satoru nodded.

"Some escaped. But they were scattered across the world."

"However… the Uzumaki bloodline still exists."

He trailed off, glancing across the classroom.

The students held their breath, waiting.

Then, he simply smiled.

"…But that's a story for another time."

"Senseiiiiii!" The class groaned in frustration.

Kakashi, however, remained silent, his mind deep in thought.

The Students Dig Deeper

Later that day, the students gathered in secret at the training grounds.

Obito, unusually serious, spoke first.

"Call me crazy, but… doesn't Sensei's healing ability seem like an Uzumaki trait?"

Gai's eyes burned with excitement.

"YOSH! What if Sensei is a secret Uzumaki descendant!?"

Ebisu frowned in thought.

"But… if that were true, wouldn't he have red hair like the other Uzumaki?"

Rin hesitated.

"…What if he's not an Uzumaki, but… something else?"

The group fell into silence.

Then—

They all nodded.

Their mission was clear:

They had to keep investigating their teacher.

The System's New Revelation

That night, as Satoru returned home, the system chimed in.

[Lesson Completed: The Great Ninja Clans.] [Students have expanded their knowledge of history.] [Teaching Quality: A.] [Earned 300 points.]

But then—

A new notification appeared.

[Hidden Quest Activated – Unravel the Mystery of Hoshino Bloodline.]

Satoru froze.

Hoshino bloodline… has a secret?

He didn't recall having a Kekkei Genkai or any special ability.

But if the system was triggering this mission…

That meant—

He wasn't just an ordinary person.

Maybe the biggest mystery wasn't Konoha.

Maybe it was himself.
