I looked at the city/town? which was in front of me… everything was quite… small.
I mean, living in Asgard had somewhat messed up my building proportion sense, since the castle and the buildings in Asgard are supermassive. So, even if the humans quite literally pulled up a few Burj Khalifa out here, for me they would be, at best, a few mid-sized buildings…
And the people looked at us with strange faces—somewhat scared, as if revering us. Praying… to us? Well, I had made no attempts at hiding myself. Such things were beneath me. So looking at us, with our dress, was quite eye-catching. And coupled with the Bifrost which just dropped, this was quite too much for ordinary humans…
"Well… this is underwhelming… isn't it?" said Freyja with a strained face.
Yeah… on the first look, it didn't appear as much fun as I thought it would be. Images of ancient times made by A.I. made it look interesting, but here—really being here—you'd understand that some things looked good only in pictures. I also wanted to try the food here first… but looking at it… nope. Not gonna eat that.
'Raph… you know how to cook?' I asked amusedly.
[Never did it… but it should be simple. I have studied several food items you've eaten and your likings in detail though. Do you want to learn how to cook?]
'Nah, you can use the Creation Divinity and prepare for me the best meal you can create… As for the menu… well, you decide. Impress me.'
[Yes Master~, on it, I will make for you the best dish you can imagine....no I will make it better than you can imagine!!]
Well....someone's excited...
[Starting simulations of created recipes based on master's taste preferences.]
Ok....let's Raph's handle that.....
"Let's go and have some lunch, dear," I said to Freyja with a smile as I played with her hair.
"We're gonna eat that? Really?" she whispered, making a weird face. Apparently, she didn't want to hurt the people by letting them hear that, but yeah, she was not so excited about trying the food here…
"Well, let me give you a surprise then…" I said, hugging her—and a Gate opened beneath our feet.
And we were suddenly thousands of meters in the sky, free falling.
"EIKKKKK! TELL ME BEFOREHAND WHEN YOU DO THIS!!!" Freyja shouted… but hey, surprises like this are fun, right?
"Shut up and enjoy." I laughed, holding her hand while we enjoyed the thrill. A few moments passed, and as we were drawing closer to the earth, I used a wind spell to make the surrounding air like a cushion.
Our speed slowed down gradually, and while we were still around a hundred meters above ground, we stopped.
"Hmmm… now where shall we go… Yupp, I've decided." I opened another Gate, and after entering that, we reached a mountain top. This was close to the city of Babylon.
"What are we doing here?" Freyja asked.
"Just some trolling," I replied with a smirk.
I was about to build a giant castle up here on the mountain. Bless it to make it strong enough to stay for thousands of years to come. Refuse to explain anything. And leave.
Just leave these ancient humans wondering about how the fuck did this palace appear…
Wait a minute, I shall do this at every place I visit. Then one of humanity's greatest mysteries would be a set of castles suddenly appearing around the same time 7000 years ago…
Wait… I should create something like Poneglyphs and send them all over the world… make them indestructible, and fill them with history. Of course, history which I design…
Oh, this is gonna be fun… very fun…
How much will the future change?
What would happen if I save some ancient civilizations from being destroyed?
There was an internal conflict going on inside me… what should I do?
Should I let things remain as they are to ensure the original plot of Marvel takes place as it would, and the history of Earth remain the same—or should I design it all myself?
Ughhh…
"Freyja… dear… I want to ask you a question…" I said. Yes, in situations like these, don't decide. Ask someone else.
"Ummm, yes, anything you want—except magic formulas. I hate that… Imagination-based magic is better," Freyja said with a sweet smile.
"How the fuck can you even say something so cruel with a smile like that? I created that magic system!!" I protested.
"Hehe, leave that. Ask the question."
"Yeah… the question… right… So imagine a scenario where you have to choose between two options. In the first one, you do what you deeply wish to do, but somewhere far away into the future, it may have some consequences. And for the other, it's risk-free—but you'll have to really control yourself, and you'd be sad," I said, thinking the best possible way to explain the question without spouting anything I did not want to tell.
"Hmmm… that's a difficult question… but to answer that, first ask yourself another question: the consequences of the first option—can you handle that?" she said, with her hand on her chin, her face as if she was deep in thought…
'Cute…'
[Simp.]
…Let's ignore that.
"Consequences, huh… hmmmm… I think I can handle them…" I said, thinking about it deeply. This was just the MCU. Even with my current strength, I would be amongst the strongest in the Avengers, and I have literally thousands of years left to grow. If I still have to face consequences because of changing the plot… I should just commit suicide during Ragnarok.
'Raph, you think I can handle everything?'
[Absolutely, without a doubt, Master~. With your capabilities, the only thing you should be worried about is why you're even doubting yourself.]
'Haha… I will blush if you say it like that… Yeah, you're right. I should not doubt myself.'
"No, I am sure I can definitely handle them," I said—this time with conviction, unlike my previous doubt.
"See, you knew the answer yourself, silly. Now follow your heart," she said with a small and beautiful giggle…
'Cute…'
[Simp.]
Ughhh…
Scratch that… So yeah, what was I thinking?
[Plot.]
Yeah, the plot… Well, fuck the original plot. I'll do whatever I want.
