When the masters as well as knights entered the hall we were all in a hush silenced the crowd and Grandmaster Yoda stepped forward and announced the beginning of the initiate trials. With his announcement 4 Jedi stepped from the crowd holding what seemed to be notebooks. Opening their books almost simultaneously they each called a name and an initiate walked to them. The room was quite large and there was a low droning of whispers and talking, making impossible to hear what the Jedi said to the initiates in front of them. Every 10 minutes or so a new name would be called and an initiate would take the test. It took an 1 and half hours to get to my name and I stepped forward to the Jedi. The test was quite simple in that they had me recite the current Jedi code of
There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos; there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force.
After reciting the code I was give many different questions about the rules and meanings of the code as well as its known history. These were easy to answer as we had learned them for years and I had read about the code and its other forms in my previous life. With that over I was instructed to exit the room and wait t with the rest of the initiates for the next part of the trials. After another half hour we all re-entered the room and began the second test. We were all separated and instructed to enter into meditation as deeply as we could. Meditation came easy to me and after a few minutes a Jedi came by and told me to stand and wait at the back of the room. I figured this was a test of our ability to meditate and a patience test by making us wait for others to finish. Around 3 hours later the first part was complete and we began the second test. In these trials there were 12 clans and we were divided up into 6 groups with to clans each. A Jedi instructor walked to each group and told us the test and its rules. We would have a saber contest to determine our skill and technique. I was the last to duel and I easily won as I already knew I would. With my focus on training I had surpassed my peers in saber combat long ago and I knew no one in the initiates could stand against me. Over the next 2 hours it came down to me and a zabrack initiate in the last duel of this test. I had sparred with him before and his talent with a saber was highest among the clans. Our duel wasn't very amazing as I exploited his weaknesses and simply outclassed him in technique and skill. He did however surprise me slightly with a powerful force push, yet I had been preparing myself for force attacks and had expected to be hit with more of the in this contest. He had startled me but my own force acted against his and the duel ended quickly afterwards. With my win the contest was over and the 3rd part of the trial began. The test was an actual contest set up during the duels of the second test as to put us against an opponent who would give us an accurate challenge. I found out at the end of the test that I was the last in the duel and would be facing 3 opponents, one of which was the zabrack I had faced in the second test. The fight lasted about 15 minutes as while the opponents had me outnumbered I had more skill and experience along with my style that was strong against multiple opponents. The 3 did give me a good challenge and had used coordination and force attacks. Overall it was a nice challenge but they had no real chance after I activated force speed and enhancement. With the trial over the masters and knights exited the room for around an hour before re-entering and the knights began calling out names. Before long most of the room was empty and only a few of us were left. Eventually only I was left along with the leftover masters. Yoda called my name and I walked over to the group. After my bow to them Mace Windu spoke to me " Both I and master Plo-Koon are willing to take you as our padawan and we have decided to leave the decision of which of us you will join to you." Stunned for a moment I simply nodded and looked to the ground thinking. I knew Koon had or would have a padawan as I knew he took one in after her master died and that she would become a knight before the battle of geonosis. Making my decision I bowed to Koon and thanked him for his offer and at his nod I turned to Windu and said "Thank you for your offer to be my master, I am honored to accept your teaching." After a few seconds Windu nodded and gestured for me to follow him after bowing to Yoda. I felt a bit awkward from their gazes as my acceptance had been a bit strange but I didn't really care. Exiting the room behind my new master we went down the hall and entered a training room. There he had me go through all the forms I had learned and harshly corrected every mistake I made. The harshness of his corrections to my footwork and techniques was great as I could already feel a small difference in my forms. After the standard forms he had me go through me own form and simply observed as I did it. After going through my form we sparred and I got my ass handed to me multiple times. During the sparring he had me switch to only using Soresu as he could easily tell that it was what I needed to learn the most, both for my form and for my own defensive capabilities. Around 4 hours of training later and I was exhausted, while I lie on the floor Windu grabbed a data pad and handed it to me. Sitting up and looking at it I could see an already laid out schedule for my training and the sessions we would have regularly. I had 2 days a week with him and one was dedicated to meditation. The schedule also gave instructions on things I would need to learn outside of training with him and teaching from the temple instructors. The schedule had 3 meetings listed in the next month outside of the temple and stated I would attend these meetings as to gain an understanding of politics and experience the outside as a Jedi. After I had somewhat recovered from the training he took me to a new room where I would be staying as his padawan and showed me the meditation room we would use. Afterwards he pointed out some things on the datapad and left for a meeting or something. The rest of the day was mine so I cleaned up, got dinner and went to bed as it was a scheduled meeting. Awakening the next day I prepare for the meeting by researching the topic and am eventually called to the meditation room. Windu basically told me to simply stand by and observe him and the others and learn from what he says and does. The meeting was horribly boring and I only paid attention to Windu as he had told me. My time with Windu was mostly training, meditation sessions and meetings. We had gone on a few missions together but I had only one had gotten violent as we had gone to ensure the peaceful turnover of a child who had been kidnapped. The kidnappers were pirates trying to extort a local governor in the sector and we were there secretly on request from the governor. The pirates asked for more money than they had previously asked and had started firing on the governor men. Windu and I jumped from cover and stopped the shots then grabbed the pirates and threw them at a building knocking them out. The 9 years passed quickly like this till Windu called for me to join him one day and informed me I would be going with him and a strike team to rescue Kenobi, Anakin and Senator Amidala. A few hours later and we are in hyperspace heading towards Geonosis with a hastily arranged strike team of 212 Jedi masters and knights. I knew this was the start of the clone wars and that many Jedi would die in the battle in the arena and I hoped to stop that from happening by following Windu as he snuck up on Dooku. I was now 22 years old and I was hoping to graduate to knight after the initial battle of Geonosis, which would allow me more freedom to change things. Our arrival on the planet was quite and we stealthily entered the tunnels leading into the arena seating. Windu and I were approaching through the tunnel to Dooku as Kenobi, Anakin and Padme were still running around trying to survive. When we got to them the droideka had arrived to execute them. Windu walked forward like a badass and activated his saber putting it at Dooku's throat trusting me to handle Jango Fett. I simply did what my he did in the movies but used the force to damage the internals of his wrist flamethrower. I was ready when the super battle droids entered the tunnel and began firing at us. I easily blocked their shots and slammed them against the walls crushing them, Windu had begun a duel with Dooku and I now had to handle Fett. With his flamethrower out of commission he drew his blasters and activated his jet pack. He jumped to make distance but a force pull got him right in front of me as I twisted and put a force enhanced kick to his helmeted head. He flew back and slammed into the stone wall of the balcony beside his son and I could tell it had knocked him out, something I had been aiming to do. With him out of the fight and his son with him I turned to Poggle the lesser and Nute Gunray. I moved towards them as Poggle tried to fly away and with a swift attack his wings were severed and I was able to remove a leg as to stop him from escaping. With him taken care of I used the force to violently rap up Nute in his robes as well as his buddy. With my targets neutralized I moved to secure the two Fetts which I easily did with Jangos cable. After that I watched as Dooku managed to slip into the tunnel we had come from and collapse it behind him after activating the droid army to attack the Jedi in the arena. With the enemy down and out on the balcony we jumped down to assist our fellow Jedi against the droids. I quickly went to collapse tunnels as Windu cut through swathes of droids. By the time I had collapsed the tunnels only 30 of the strike team had fallen and only 23 of those were dead. A few minutes later Yoda arrived and we were all transported to the battlefront of the war on Geonosis. When we arrived Windu put me in charge of a group of 20 clones and gave me orders from the mobile command center. I quickly had the clones all grab heavy weapons and armor from a nearby supply shipment that had been dropped. With the new gear we boarded a LAAT and landed near our objective. The target was a shield array generator protecting a droid manufacturing plant. When we landed I quickly had the clones use water to make mud and camouflage themselves for the assault. With my preparation complete we moved towards the generator that we would be destroying.
