Sair Ellery is reborn into Star Wars and has to fight for his survival in a harsh and unforgiving galaxy, without any help from anyone but the force. Star Wars AU IDK the legal stuff I don’t own anything but the original characters I create and make no revenue from this fanfic.

Chapter 1 - Reborn

With the violent and sudden expansion of the USA the world had fallen into chaos as powers all over the globe fought for whatever they could.

In 3 years the USA had conquered the continent and was already stabilizing their power, preparing to rebuild and defend itself from the rest of the world.

Due to the USA's new regime the world fell back to an unstable peace. China had grown and South Korea had taken the north. Large parts of Russia were bathed in nuclear fire as the country was attacked from many sides.

Most European countries united and formed a coalition to protect themselves and each other. But even with a modicum of order re-established war was inevitable.

Many countries had prepared to duke it out in order to be the last ones standing. With The United Americas being the strongest country in the world nobody wanted to get on their bad side.

Unfortunately the remnants of Russia now hated America, believing that they had caused the wars and chaos. The Rus Remnants after only 1 year had claimed multiple missile silos and a few remaining military bases.

Using these resources they launched an all out suicidal attack against the United Americas. Despite the futility of this attack they still went through with it. The attack had only lasted 3 days as the Rus Remnants were obliterated.

The radio talks described it as an egg thrown and a brick wall. The rest of the world took a few weeks to learn of what had happened and it was as if all they could feel was fear.

The European and Asian governments quickly formed a new alliance and planned to destroy America. After 5 years they were finally ready and launched their assault.

Most cities in the Americas were hit with multiple dirty bombs and military bases were even destroyed with nukes. The American response put most nuke available on the Eurasian continent but a few were targeted at others like Japan, Australia, and Africa.

With the world shaking from the nukes the countries hit by America launched their military at us. Most of the American coasts were bloody battlefronts.

I had lived in West Virginia when this all started and the government had conscripted many people into the military. We had been forced into training and had built multiple bases throughout the country. I had been stationed at a super bunker hidden in the Appalachian Mountains.

4 more years into the war the front lines were now in the bunkers front yard. The enemy had been bombing us for 5 days and we had not received orders for 3 of those. Rumors of the governments collapse were already spreading and we had even had a few deserters.

When the front finally reached the bunker the enemy was sent reeling from the attack we had thrown at them. The military had given us thousands of howitzers and we had lined the mountains with them.

Our bunker was deeply hidden and the tunnel systems were immense. The main bunker was the brain and heart while the tunnels were the nerves and blood vessels.

The mountains were a wall of cannons that couldn't be penetrated. For 5 months the enemy attempted a breakthrough but were rebuffed every time. But it was all a trick that we paid for.

On the 6th month of battle the enemy stopped firing. A team was sent to investigate and they found weapons that were set up to continually fire at us. After 1 day of trying to figure out what was going on we got the warnings from our powerful detection systems.

They had sent more than 50 nukes at us along with many other ICBM's. The return to bunker signal was sent out and we waited. An hour later the shaking started and quickly increased to the point were we felt as if our souls were vibrating from the tremors.

Eventually after several weeks of waiting the surface tech sent the all clear signal that we could exit the bunker. In those several weeks the bunker hierarchy had been broken and we were in a Cold War with the defecting soldiers.

As soon as the all clear was sent the defectors rushed for the exit only to step out and get gunned down by a helicopter flying overhead. In a few hours the enemy was on our doorstep and were blowing into our bunker.

When they entered they encountered our extreme resistance and we held out till the rations were gone. There weren't many of us left and we were resigned to death. Most of us hadn't even gotten past the age of 30.

Steeling our resolve we put out a message on all channels we could telling everyone that the Appalachian wall had fallen. Charging out of the bunker was stupid and we all new it, yet none of us wanted a bad death. We exited with makeshift steel shields and the biggest and baddest guns we could carry right after activation of the bombs that would scuttle the bunker behind us. My comrades fell like flies but I kept moving. We new death awaited us and we wanted to die fighting. The weight of my left arm and the shield I had disappeared from me as I was kicked onto my right side. Looking at what had happened it seemed a explosive had hit me and removed my arm and pock marked my with shrapnel as I could feel the warmth of my blood flowing from all over my body. The pain was white hurt but distant at the same time. I had read many things throughout my life and I remembered one thing I had read some time ago. In its last moments the brain did a sort of recap of ones life, and yet all I saw was that bright light approaching an then an empty blindness. The blindness didn't last long, I sat up the pain and disorientation gone. Looking around me was weird, everything had a lot of motion blur but was also distinct and in detail. Most of us had died but a few were futility firing at the enemy who were mostly tanks. Standing up I tried to walk around but I couldn't move more than a few feet from where I had fallen. Turning I looked around for any reason as to why this was happening. On my last turn I stopped facing the enemy and could see for miles, my home state was marred by the war but still had her beauty. "Sair Ellery, I presume?" A voice spoke from thin air. I spun again but saw no difference from last time, hesitantly I spoke "You are correct in your assumption but my I ask who you are and what is going on." The unknown being spoke again "Good that I found you before you passed on else you wouldn't get the chance to choose where you go and that's no good at all. See you have died and are but one of many chosen and or one of the few allowed to be reborn in another universe. With the explanation over let's get you started on your next adventure!" Listening to all of this I was stunned, this disembodied voice said I could choose to be reborn or have some kind of afterlife. A few minutes of my thinking and the voice spoke again. "Now please tell me if you wish to be reborn or go to an afterlife." After a few minutes of deliberation I had decided. "I choose to be reborn." With those words a massive game show wheel appeared right in front of me. "Please spin the wheel with all your strength." Moving to the wheel I grab the lever and push down causing the wheel to turn slowly and weakly. The arrow at the top points down at the world right beside the one it started on. "Please exert more strength on the lever to get a good speed." The voice said. Putting my hand on the lever again as my left was still missing I push down with all my power and weight. This time the wheel blurs and to an insane speed causing the colors to mix in my vision and then go light brown. With another blinding light the now glowing wheel slows and I can make out some of the words that are going by. I recognize many of them but most are indecipherable as they are in different languages or scripts altogether. Looking at the arrow at the top the wheel slows more and eventually stops at a name I easily recognize and love. I was going to be reborn in Star Wars, a sci-fi the was known by most of humanity and had changed many lifes. I had watched the movies, shows and even read some comics and wookipedia articles. The galaxy far, far away had greatly influenced my life and that of many others like me. When I had first read isekai and reincarnation/rebirth novels and such entering Star Wars had always been a dream. "Warning! You will be reborn in 10 seconds." 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 "Good luck with your next life Sair Ellery." And with the voices fair well my vision went black and I felt as horrible. Opening my eyes I could see I was in a small room full of debris and junk. Standing up I found myself multiple feet shorter than I had been on earth. Looking down at my body I saw the form of a child. I was still wearing the clothes and gear I had on when I died, still covered in blood and missing my left arm which was covered by strange bandages. There were however some changes to my gear, my pistol was replaced with a double barrel blaster pistol I didn't recognize. Most of the padding and armor on my gear was now a composite that was likely durasteel or plasteel. My clothing was also oversized on my small frame and I had a black cloak on over it all. On my left side was a new small fanny pack like bag that acted like a belt sitting above my waist. Pulling the bag closer to my right I opened it and found supplies in the form of multiple small bags that seemed to have starch in them. There were also a few gas capsules for the blaster and a small plastic box. Looking in box I found multiple bandages like the ones on my arm stump. At the bottom of the bag was a metal canteen with what I suspected was water. Having assessed myself I walked around the room and found 2 exits however one had a destroyed control panel. I pulled my pistol blaster and hit a green button on the other doors panel and walked through. It wasn't much brighter here but it was much larger as I could see that I was in some kind of underground city. Looking around I could see many things on the debris covered streets but I saw no sign of people. Deciding to keep moving I moved toward the tallest structure I could climb without entering any buildings. Scaling the pile of debris allowed me to spot more buildings yet I still saw no life. In the distance the was a building with a large sign that had fallen of the wall and was now imbedded into the ground by a corner. On the sign was the unmistakable symbol of medical care even without it being colored. It was a good chance at finding something that could help me. Arriving at the medical building took a few hours but I made it there without much trouble. Looking in the building through the glass doors I could see a few working lights along with a droid slumped over a desk. Entering by way of smashing the glass with my blaster I moved behind the desk and looked for something to help me navigate the building. Finding the terminal or computer under the droid I used all the strength my tiny child body could and shoved the droid to the side hoping to not make much noise. Tapping the buttons of the computer eventually activated it but I could only understand some of what I saw.
