As Sera cautiously approached Javier's broken body, she noticed something strange. Javier's aura, despite being severely drained, seemed to be... pulsing. It was as if her life force was trying to fight back against the darkness that had attacked her.
Sera's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with possibilities. She gently placed her hand on Javier's forehead, focusing her senses on the other girl's aura, her body felt like it was controlled and she knew what to do she tried to trust her instincts and let impulse take over.
Suddenly, visions flooded Sera's mind. She saw Javier, laughing and carefree, just moments before the attack as she went to go get the vampire drink and as if compelled she heard this incantations and runes appeared on her hands like the forbidden her eyes seem to turn pitch black cause sera can't see through her's anymore as she walks deeper into the woods her rune pulsing like a beaker or tracker she leaves the Academy protective barrier.
Then, a dark shape emerged from the shadows, its eyes blazing with malevolent energy. The shape attacked Javier, draining her aura with an unnatural hunger it looked cloaked and as it dropped Javier with barley any aura left he smirks at me not Javier as if he knows I would see it.
Sera's eyes snapped open, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that she had to find out what had attacked Javier, and stop it before it struck again it seems to know who she was and she clearly remembers the shadow whispered "Bonded" she didn't know shadow's could talk and what the word "Bonded" meant but she wanted to find out, As sera gets up Xavier hold her cause she seems unstable and a little shocked.
Xavier stand's beside her, his face grim with worry. "What did you see?" he asked, his voice low and urgent.
Sera's eyes locked onto his. "I saw what attacked Javier," she whispered. "It was something dark, something that feeds on auras."
Xavier's expression turned even grimmer. "Hmm not to sound weird or anything but sera no one has had a vision on the deceased even healer with light magic can't do that so maybe don't tell people what you saw," he said. "We can't let this thing attack anyone else if students start to panic the whole Academy would be in a frenzy."
Sera nodded, her mind racing with plans. She knew that she couldn't trust Xavier he was one of the descendants and could use this to hold her but she needed help and the saying goes "keep your enemies closer" so she would do so, Xavier, and his friends might be a good help to stop this mystery.
As Sera nodded, Xavier's expression turned thoughtful. "I think we should investigate further," he said. "See if we can find any clues about what attacked Javier."
Sera agreed, and together they began to search the area. They found nothing out of the ordinary, but Sera couldn't shake the feeling that they were missing something.
As they searched, Sera noticed that Xavier seemed to be watching her closely. She wondered if he suspected that she was hiding something or he was just being cautious she felt like a whole new freak right now and the rainbow wasn't enough now visions, but she pushed the thought aside.
After a while, they decided to head back to the Academy. As they walked, Sera couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She knew that she had to be careful, that she couldn't trust anyone completely anyone could be the Shadow's puppet and she didn't tell xavier about the rune cause she didn't know who was involved not because she had the hot for him, meant she could tell him everything she had to be cautious the shadow she saw seemed to be connected to her somehow.
When they arrived at the Academy Sera stare at Xavier and remembers they shared a kiss and she thought way for it to get complicated Xavier sees her change and says " I was just making sure you arrived safely you don't have to be pressured and I will see you in advanced water class okay" Sera smiles and says "Kay and thanks for the night".
Sera went straight to her room. She locked the door behind her and leaned against it, trying to process everything that had happened.
She thought about the vision she had seen, and the word "Bonded" that the shadow had whispered. She wondered what it meant, and why the shadow had seemed to know her.
As she stood there, lost in thought, Sera heard a faint scratching sound coming from the window. She turned to see a small piece of paper stuck to the glass.
She walked over to the window and pulled out the paper. On it was a message, scrawled in red ink:
"Meet me in the old oak tree at midnight. Come alone."
Sera's heart skipped a beat as she read the message. Who could have written it, and what did they want from her?
She thinks not to go but she seems conflicted she might not have known Javier but she at least wasn't by the queen bitches side, Sera decides to sneak out she knew a curfew had been issued but she had to bypass the law to find out who was the instigator of today's event.
