Kakashi and Ayaka sat and their separate bed, Kakashi sat on the bed beside the window and Ayaka sat on the bed beside the wall. Both of them have refused to talk to each other after their fierce battle for the bed beside the window, which Kakashi won after a simple game of rock, paper and scissors.
"A- Ayaka" Kakashi called out to her.
"Hmm?"
"Do you think Yaze was able to defeat that demon?"
"Of course, Yaze-sensei is the strongest supernatural in the academy" Ayaka turned to Kakashi. "But, I'm worried about something else"
"What?"
"Don't you think that the demon was a little bit too fixated on you?"
What do you mean by that?"
"The demon spoke to you as if you've met him before, he even know your name"
"I guess you're right" Kakashi sighed. "According to Hinata's story the demon took a pact with Tomura, maybe one of his previous host knows me. That must mean, someone else survived during the building collapse"
"They is no need to worry about it, after all, if the demon actually fought Yaze-sensei then he's already dead"
Kakashi suddenly recalled a glimpse of his dream.
"Ayaka, I want to ask you something" Kakashi said and moved a little bit closer to Ayaka.
"If it's anything about my ears or tail, then forget it. The answer is NO" Ayaka replied and moved back.
"What!?, No. I'm serious right now" Kakashi shook his head. "It's just that... I dream about something really weird and I wanted to ask you about it"
"I'm a goddess, not a dream interpreter"
"No one cares about you being a goddess. Can you at least answer my question first!?" Kakashi yelled. "I had a dream last night about both of us, the funny part is that I haven't met you before then but I saw someone like you..."
"Look at the time, I better start preparing dinner!" Ayaka quickly stood up and walked to the Kitchen.
The truth is that she had also had the same dream, but it was when she first got her powers. Her mother had told her that it was from her past life and she should look for him, after that she hasn't dream about it till last night and when she woke up, she saw the same person in the dream right in front of her.
She had decided to pretend like nothing happened, but she never expected Kakashi to have that same dream.
[If he's really that person in my dream, then, that means he's...] Ayaka shook her head trying not to think about it.
Kakashi stared at the wall clock, counting the time. The analog clock time was shown in roman numerals which was a bit confusing for him.
"It's just 5:30"
"I need to prepare early so you should leave"
"Leave!?, But this is also my room!"
Kakashi said, trying to sound innocent. He was told not to ask about her past but he didn't know what could have made her angry just because he was asking about his dream.
"I like to be alone when cooking. My mother once said if a man watch me cook, he might find me attractive"
"What!?, Why will your mom say something like that?"
"Just leave!" Ayaka shouted and pushed Kakashi out of the room.
"Okay, okay, I'm going" Kakashi surrendered and walked out of the room.
[What's her deal now?. That lady from this morning said she was going to make something special for me]
Kakashi was referring to Kurumi.
"Hey Ayaka!" Kakashi knocked at the door but she didn't open it.
"I said leave!" Ayaka shouted from behind the door.
Kakashi sighed and sluggishly left.
.
.
.
"Was it 30-somthing?, She said something like 30...6. That's it!" Kakashi stopped in front of a room and gently knocked at the door. "Ummm, Hello. Is anybody in?. What was her name again?, I'm sure it starts with a C, or is it a K. Kuru... Hey are you in there!?"
Kakashi knocked harder but didn't receive any response.
"I'm coming in..."
Kakashi opened the door and walked in only to find a little blue haired girl putting on her shirt.
The girl stopped and turned to him.
"Do stranger need something from Origami?" She asked with an expressionless look on her face.
"I umm, I.. I" Kakashi stammered, unable to control his nose bleed.
"Kakashi, right?" Without wanting for an answer, she announced. "Big sister Kurumi is on the roof, stairs at the end of the hallway"
"Thanks, and I'm so sorry!!!" Kakashi apologized and slammed the door.
The girl stood there absent mindedly as she watched Kakashi leave.
"Origami wonder why stranger was so flustered" she looked down at herself. "Oh, Origami forgot to put on Origami's clothes"
.
.
.
"What the hell was that!?" Kakashi yelled as he wiped his nose while running towards the staircase. "The bleeding won't stop no matter how hard I wiped it. She wasn't even ashamed. I guess it was my fault for opening the door, but she should at least had said something!"
Kakashi opened the door to the roof and walked to the steel bar.
"Then again, I can't stop myself from thinking about it"
"Thinking about what?" A voice echoed from behind him. Kakashi turned back to Kurumi who was sitting on the water tank.
"I- it's nothing"
Kurumi jumped down from the water tank and landed in front of Kakashi.
"Did you go to my room?" Kurumi asked.
"Yeah"
"That mean you saw her naked, right?" Kurumi asked, searching Kakashi's eyes.
"Yes, but how did you know that?" There was no reason for him to lie.
"Hmm..." Kurumi leaned forward with her hands on her back, her long brown hair shifted to the side revealing her bright eyes. "You're bleeding, and it's kinda a special skill of hers"
"Oh, that. It's nothing" Kakashi tried to wipe it off but Kurumi stops him.
"Let's me handle it" She said, bringing her face closer to Kakashi's till he could feel her gently breathing on his face.
"What are you trying to do?" Kakashi backed off and wiped his nose himself, and the bleeding stopped.
"Just wanted to help you clean it up" Kurumi said with a friendly smile.
"For a moment, it looked like you wanted to lick... Just forget it" Kakashi replied. "So, why did you tell me to meet you in your room when you're going to be here?"
"I said tonight, it just 5:42 pm. And I happen to finish earlier than I thought, so I decided to wait here because I know you'll also be here earlier than expected" Kurumi showed Kakashi the lunck box she has been hiding behind her. "I got you something"
"O...kay" Kakashi collected the lunch box from her.
"Why don't we sit down" Kurumi suggested pointing at a bench.
They both sat down and Kurumi opened the lunch box.
"I said I don't like rice, especially rice balls"
Kakashi complained as soon as he saw the content, the lunch box was filled with different dishes that were all made with rice.
"You should at least try it out, I did work hard to make it perfect" Kurumi pouted.
"...Okay..." Kakashi took a bite of the onigiri (rice ball). "I- it actually good!"
"Then you should try the curry rice"
Kakashi took a spoon.
"It's really tasty!, I could eat this forever"
"You really like it?"
"I love it!"
"Then you should try the Mochi (sticky rice)"
"It's awesome, each bite is better than the last!"
.
.
.
"I haven't ate that much in a long time" Kakashi said and rested his head on the wall. "But why would you do this for me?"
"I just don't want you to be sad" Kurumi smiled and gently pulled Kakashi's head to her lap, face down. "I always be here for you"
Kakashi didn't know how to respond, but he knew everything that Kurumi said was genuine.
"Thanks"
"I'm Kurumi Yamikaze"
"What?"
"I didn't introduce myself properly before" Kurumi said, playing with his white hair.
"Oh, Kakashi Yami" Kurumi giggled. "What?"
"It tickles when you talk like that"
"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
"Don't be" Kurumi replied. [Kakashi Yami, I finally found you]
