[A/N: Sorry, this first chapter will seem rushed]
"Look at them; they are so adorable," a voice spoke aloud.
(Adorable... what's happening?) I wondered to myself
"Congratulations on giving birth to a healthy baby boy and girl," another voice spoke,e confusing me even more.
"What names did you choose, my love?" an older man asked
"Saya and Nagata," a feminine voice replied as I felt a gentle hand caress my face.
(What is happening? Why can't I move and my eyes I can't open them)
[System connection completed]
[Memory transfer beginning]
As the robotic voice rang out in my head, I saw scenes play before me. The life of a young man who was a soldier a child. A life filled with death and despair, a life filled with such sadness. The other scenes were of apocalypse, filled with the dead killing the living.
(So I finally died... it took longer than I expected. And now I'm in the body of a newborn. More specifically, the brother of the one from Highschool of the Dead)
[Upgrade system has been fully connected with he host]
[All memories have been transferred]
[The host now has access to the Upgrade system]
(The upgrade system? What is that?)
[The upgrade system allows the host to advance items and living beings with provided points. Points are gained by completing missions]
(Okay, I remember reading about this when I had some free time. Seems miple enough)
[The host is much calmer than expected]
(After the life I lived, anything that not that I will enjoy. Even if this ends up being a dream, I will enjoy it to the fullest)
[I see. The system now has a better understanding of the host]
As I was speaking with the system, I heard the sound of a child crying next to me.
"Ah, what's wrong, Saya?" the feminine voice said, trying to comfort the new bor.n
"They are complete opposites. Nagata isn't even crying at all," another feminine voice spoke.
"Well, he is my son, after all. I expect great things from him," the man who was probably my father replied
"Stop it! He was just born. Don't force your teachings on him yet," the woman who I believed was my mother added.
"I'm just joking, but something tells me he will grow up to protect his sister well," my father said, rubbing my head.
(My sister...I never had one...I guess it would be nice to have someone to protect and care about.) I thought, feeling the warmth of my parents' touch.

...Ten Year Later[Pov: Third Person]
"Nagata! Nagata! Where are you?" a young girl with pink hair and golden eyes said, walking around a garden.
"I'm at the table, Saya," replied a young boy with black hair and golden eyes, the same age as the girl.
"What are you doing here? I have been looking for you," Saya asked, walking up to her brother.
"Sorry, I was just getting some reading in," Nagata replied, putting his book down.
"Well, come on. I want to go to the park. Takashi will be there today," Saya said, grabbing Nagata's hand.
While being dragged along by his sister, Nagata could not help but sigh.
(I knew she had a crush on this boy, but I don't like him; he is quite loud and annoying) Nagata thought
Going into the house, Saya grabbed her toys while Nagata went to speak with their father.
"Nagata, do you need something?" his father asked, looking up from his monitor.
"I was just informing you that Saya and I will be going to the park," Nagata explained.
"I see. I'm guessing that Takashi boy will be there?"
"Most likely."
"Tell me, what do you think about that boy?" his father said, standing up.
"Well, he seems like a good kid. Just very loud for my liking, but he is nice to Saya, so I have no problems with him."
"Good kid. You're the same age as him. I swear you act like an adult more than a kid sometimes," his father laughed.
"Like normal, just keep an eye on her. And make sure not to stay out too late tomorrow is you birthday so you have to get rest," his father said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Oh father, what about the gift I asked for?" Nagata asked
"I will take you there in two days. For now, just focus on keeping an eye on your sister."
"I understand."
Walking out of his father's study, Nagata went to the front door, where we found Saya waiting with a bag of toys.
"Hurry up, Nagata, you're so slow!" Saya whined
"Sorry, Saya, let's get going," Nagata replied with a small smile
