' This thing looks more like the royal castle in clover kingdom then a academy.' asta says as he looks up at the giant 8 floor dormitory building with a bunch of people standing outside with their bags. A bunch of people in uniforms appear to be herding the newbies as their seniors while some.. seems to having fun 'exploiting' them, Asta wishes he could stop them but didn't want to cause trouble on the first day until he saw a certain someone from the corner of his eye. A boy with glasses was just standing and looking through his belongings when someone with grey hair kicked him in the chest for now reason, "dirty peasant " the arrogant noble said as he spat on the ground and begins cutting the queue but just as he tried it he got punched right across the face.
"Who do you think you are you snobby silkpants? Get to the back of the line." Magna? says as his fist connects with the noble's face, he help the other guy up as few people circle around him. "You wanna gang up on me? I wi-" "The heck is going on here?" Asta walks in the scene carrying his bag behind him, he looks at kicked person and then at the noble who seems to be fuming in anger. "If even the rankers have to queue then who do you think you are?" Asta says as gives a cold murderous glare to the noble and his underlings, he turns to magna? And says "I didn't expect to see you here magna.. see you Tommorow okay?" Asta says as he goes to the back of the line after giving magna a pat on the shoulder.
Magna looks at Asta confused while the others stare at him with awe. Anybody called a ranker is known as the highest of the elite in the academy. Nobody tried cutting the line in asta's presence and one by one the crowd was dispersed into the dormitory. "H-hel-lo it's a ppleassure to meeet you." A short girl greets asta while stuttering more than a robot, she is wearing the second year's uniform and is looking down as she nervously says, Asta bursts out laughing at the comedic situation that is happening in front of him. "Don't be nervous.. i ain't some cocky punk who beats people up for fun." He says while wiping away a tear from his eye.
The girl takes few deep breaths and finally calmed down a little
"Can you show me the token?" The girl says as manages to gather some courage. Asta smiles and hands her a ivory token with golden edges and the number 1-Z ingraved in it. Her nervousness doubles again as she begins vibrating like old engine before tweaking out unconscious. (Like bouchi)
A nearby girl with dark skin catches her "Hey lisa don't die on me. You still haven't payed back the money. Sam get her to the coffee room." The girl says as she shakes the glitching out lisa and calls a nearby boy to help her. The black skinned girl looks at asta and grabs the token from the ground.
"I can't believe she did it again, how much time will she take to get out of that introvert personality, turns to asta Ah sorry this must... 1-Z?" The girl looks at the token wide-eyed and turns to asta and then to the token again multiple times before handing it back to him. ' isn't this girl sol from captain Charlotte's squad?I think her name wasss Sol? ' Asta thinks as he finally remembered who the girl in front of him was. " Follow me I will show you your room." Sol? Says as she points her thumb towards herself while hiding away her inner anxiety behind a confident face. She showed Asta around the dormitory which consists of a training floor at basement level, cafeteria at ground floor, supplies shop and staff housing at 1st and 2nd floor and the rest are student dorms.
As they were reached the top floor asta asked her "You have dreams about being in a battlefield with every person's face being blurred and names are distorted right?" She stops in her tracks and slowly turns to asta who suddenly appears like a demon to her, "HH-ow do you know?" She asks nervously but recieves no answer which causes the tension to raise even higher. Just as she was about to bring out her grimoire, asta brought out a piece of paper and begins writing on it he hands her the paper and says "try to remember the names in there, it will help with the memories.".
She looks at him all confused and reads the names in the chit, Charlotte, yami, julius and bunch of other names. She raised her eyes to Asta's while slowly backing away. "Memories? But i remember everything." She says as she gives asta a suspicious stare, 'Is this supposed to be his attempt to make me submit? I have heard all about the deeds of elites and rankers that are same year as me. Somet-' "Stop your overthinking. You are not the only one who gets those dreams, just show me my room and go get some sleep." Asta interrupts her thoughts and tells her to quicken the pace. Sol? Comes out of her blank mode and quickly showed asta his room while handing him the keys to it. She then quickly leaves and proceeds to her room.
"Quite a big room this is." Asta remarks as he looks at the overly decorated room with a large bed, two bedside tables, a couch, a desk and two wardrobes. It even has a personal bathroom and carpet on the floor. He just threw his bag to the side and went to sleep after a quick bath.

Next morning, asta wakes up to knocking on the door, he went and opened the door to see sol? Standing outside with a box in hand. Just as the door opens, she enters and quickly turns to asta while throwing the box onto the bed.
"Asta!! It's really you." "In the flesh. through you seem different then when you went around with captain Charlotte." Asta replies nonchalantly as sol sits on the bed and swings while having her same old prideful personality.
"Have you met any others at the academy?" Asta asks while checking the box he just got. Inside is a buttonless vest, a pair of pants and some shoes and a sleeveless jacket having the academy logo.
"quite a few actually. The four eyes and mimosa are here as second years, That guy gordon and zora are third year students, captain yami and big sis are actually incharge of their own factions here." Sol says as she quietly leaves the room, letting asta change clothes in peace. Few minutes later he left and found her waiting for him outside the dormitory's exit gate alongside someone with a pair of black glasses and publish hairstyle.
"Yo asta, how does it feel to meet your senior here?" Magna says as he raises a fist towards asta, asta happily gives him a fistbump and then a handshake. " Your senior days are over now, you are now the junior amongst us." Asta says as he gives magna a strong pat on the back, making him fall to his knees and begins laughing. "Will you two just stay there or move already? I don't want be called late for the first day of my second year. " "Is it even fun? I bet we would get more fun if we trained with asta instead." Sol advices while magna scoffs it off.
As they slowly fly towards the main area of the academy, asta managed to learn that sol has regained much more of her memories compared to magna, again reinforcing his theory that those who died before the eraser had retained more memories. They reach a place right in front of colosseum like structure where thousands of new students were standing in rows while the second years had their own rows. Magna was called over to a line by one of the seniors while asta could stand wherever he wanted, he just stood with sol while asking about the number of people she has seen in the academy after coming here. He found out that most of the captains are actually here, some knight members and even nacht and his brother morgan actually managed to gather at a single place. Just as he was about to ask if she has seen Noelle, the ceremony starts and someone he knows very well came onto the stage, the elf king licht.
'No wonder mimosa fell for him, look at those muscles, Should I try my luck?... Gather your thoughts sol, men are all incompetent idiots, you can't trust them' Sol gives a strong thought to her suggestions as she watches asta leave.
