Sun-Sun twirled the glowing sphere between her tail... Somehow, she made it look like it was her finger. Her snake-like eyes watched as it shimmered with an almost hypnotic glow. "My, my~ such a generous gift. Are you sure you can afford to give this away?"
Gabriel scoffed, leaning back against the nearby rock. "I wouldn't offer it if I couldn't. Besides, I got more where that came from."
He wasn't lying. He had about 40 more... all stored... well, let's not talk about it. {His pouch}
Sun-Sun raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Oh? And here I thought you were just a reckless little Hollow throwing away precious resources for the sake of a woman's attention~"
"That's rich coming from the one who just took the damn thing without hesitation," he added, looking at the snake lady. He wouldn't be outdone by her.
She let out a soft chuckle, bringing the orb close to her lips. "True enough. But you see, I know the value of a good deal. And this?" She tapped the orb lightly. "This tells me that you're very determined to win Harribel over. How cute~"
Gabriel narrowed his eyes. "You keep saying that like I'm some lovesick idiot."
Sun-Sun leaned in slightly, her voice a smooth whisper. "Aren't you?"
Gabriel gave her a flat look. "No. I respect her, that's all. She's strong, she doesn't waste time, and she's not a complete pain in the ass to be around. Unlike some people."
"Who are you trying to fool? Me or yourself?" she teased as she gulped down the orb. You know, he did not expect to see a literal snake eat such a bright blue orb like this before... Something about someone with no gag reflex swallowing a ball had done something to his little brain.
"Oh no, of course not. You're an absolute delight. A real ray of sunshine in this miserable, sand-covered hellhole."
He was lying, and he knew it. She knew it was cap.
"Flattery won't get you out of my teasing, you know~"
Gabriel sighed, rubbing his face. "Yeah, I figured."
She studied him for a moment, her playful smirk lingering before she spoke again. "So... you really don't remember much else from your human life?"
Gabriel was silent for a moment before shaking his head. "Not much. Just bits and pieces. I remember my dad... I remember our home. I remember that night. Everything else? It's slipping away. Feels like trying to hold sand in my hands."
Sun-Sun hummed in thought, tilting her head slightly. "And yet, you're clinging onto a promise from a life that's fading from your mind. Isn't that... painful?"
Gabriel gave her a side glance, his expression unreadable. "Yeah. But some things are worth holding onto."
Sun-Sun's smirk softened just a little. "I see~"
For a brief moment, there was a strange silence between them—not awkward, but something... different.
Then, of course, she had to ruin it.
"Still, I do wonder how you plan to escape that adorable little son-zone Harribel has placed you in~" she mused, the teasing glint returning to her eyes.
Gabriel groaned, already regretting this conversation. "I swear if you bring that up again—"
"But it's so precious!" Sun-Sun giggled, clearly enjoying herself. "The way she gently caresses your mask, like a mother soothing her child~"
Gabriel clenched his jaw. "I will punch you."
Sun-Sun giggled again, completely unfazed. "Oh my~ such violence. It's okay, Gabriel. Even if you are like a baby to her, I'm sure she cares for you very much~"
Gabriel exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. "I hate you."
Sun-Sun gave him a sly smile. "Oh no, you love me."
He shot her a deadpan glare.
"Mmm~ that was quite the treat," she mused, licking her lips. "I do hope you continue bringing me such delightful gifts, Gabriel~"
Gabriel rolled his eyes, pushing himself up. "Don't push your luck, Snake Lady."
Sun-Sun simply smiled, ever the picture of amusement. "Oh, but Gabriel~ You love pushing your luck. Why else would you be chasing after Harribel like a lovestruck puppy~?"
Though he noticed the light flush on her cheeks. The power high was probably intoxicating. Yup, that was steam coming out of the snake lady's mouth.
He didn't like that look in her eyes. Okay, so maybe he should, just in case, make the power not come all at once.
Maybe... make it come over time.
He felt the snake wrap itself all around him... oh fuck.
What was that look in the snake lady's eyes?
He could feel her tail wrapped around him.
Her snake-like face was in front of him... oh, kami, she was on a power high.
This was not good.
This could never be good.
He was not about to get diddled by a woman. His first should at least be Shark Mommy, not Snake Lady.
He had his priorities straight.
He was getting melanin for his first. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
This was probably his father's side speaking... Harribel looked closest to what his dad had shown him about Latina women... Plus, he didn't even have a meat. Where the fuck would this end...?
He shall not do the snakussy.
