Teki was unconscious and eventually regaining consciousness. After recovering, Shizen spoke to him and asked him to promise not to harm anyone moving forward. Teki agreed to the promise by saying "I promise I won't harm anyone. I'm with you.
After Teki regained consciousness and promised not to harm anyone, there was a moment of silence between the two of them. The crowd that had gathered started to disperse, realizing that the fight was over. Shizen helped Teki to his feet, and they stood facing each other.
Teki, after regaining consciousness, rubbing his jaw in pain, looked at Shizen with a mix of respect and admiration.
"I underestimated you," he said gruffly.
Shizen smiled slightly, but he still looked wary. "You fought well," he responded
Teki and Shizen stood facing each other. The tension between them had lessened, and they both seemed more relaxed now.
Shizen spoke up first, breaking the silence. "You fought well," he repeated, this time with a genuine tone of respect.
Shizen regarded Teki for a moment longer, taking in his defeated but proud demeanor. He could see a change in Teki's attitude, a shift from the aggressive bully he had known before the fight.
Seeing this change in Teki, Shizen felt a sense of satisfaction. He had hoped that their fight would teach Teki a lesson, and it seemed like it had done just that. However, there was still the issue of the promise Teki had made to him.
as Shizen and Teki stood there lost in thought, they were interrupted by the arrival of their other friends. Juyo and Kinya had likely been worried about Shizen and wanted to check on him after the fight.
Juyo smirked and looked back and forth between Shizen and Teki. "So, how'd the fight go?" he asked, clearly eager to hear the details.
Shizen hesitated for a moment, not sure how to respond. But before he could say anything, Teki spoke up. "I lost," he admitted gruffly, his pride obviously wounded.
Juyo and Kinya exchanged surprised glances at Teki's admission of defeat. Clearly, they hadn't expected him to lose the fight.
"Really?" asked Juyo, unable to hide his surprise. "You lost to Shizen?"
Juyo's question lingered in the air, the shock still registering on his and Kinya's faces. Shizen looked at Teki, waiting to see how he would respond to their friend's reaction.
Teki, still feeling the sting of his defeat, grumbled a response. "Yeah, I lost," he repeated, his voice low.
Kinya, always the sympathetic one, stepped forward and placed a hand on Teki's shoulder. "It's okay," she reassured him. "You fought well."
Juyo, his playful nature still present, chimed in. "Hey, losing doesn't mean you're weak," he said, trying to lighten the mood. "It just means you have room for improvement."
Shizen nodded in agreement. "He's right," he said, a hint of respect in his voice. "You fought well, Teki. You were tough to beat."
Juyo looked back and forth between Shizen and Teki, a cheeky grin on his face. "You two are getting along surprisingly well," he observed. "I guess a good fight can bring people together."
Kinya rolled her eyes at Juyo's comment, but there was a hint of amusement in her expression. "Can't you ever be serious?" she teased.
Juyo shrugged, unapologetic. "Where's the fun in that?"
The four friends, Shizen, Teki, Juyo, and Kinya, were walking together on their way back to their respective homes. Teki was still a bit dejected from his defeat, but there was a sense of comradery amongst the group that was new and unexpected.
Juyo, being his playful self, decided to tease Teki a bit. "So, Teki, how does it feel to lose to our fearless leader?" he asked, jerking a thumb towards Shizen.
Teki scowled at Juyo's comment, still a little sensitive about his loss. "Shut up," he muttered.
Shizen rolled his eyes at their banter, but there was a hint of amusement in his expression. "Can you two stop bickering for five minutes?" he requested, his voice tinged with both annoyance and fondness.
After a while of walking, the group eventually arrived at their individual homes. Juyo and Kinya said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. That left Shizen and Teki standing outside the latter's home.
Teki shuffled his feet, feeling a bit awkward now that it was just the two of them. He didn't quite know what to say after the fight and their subsequent conversation.
Shizen, sensing the awkward atmosphere, spoke up first. "Well, I guess I'll get going," he said, taking a step backwards to start walking away.
