Chichi was taken aback by the sudden development. "Wait, Bosa, are you saying you could smell the difference?"
Bosa nodded. "It's a little more than that, I think? But yeah, maunty Chichi and aunty Launch smelled like Mommy did a couple weeks ago."
Chichi had a moment where she sniffed herself, unable to detect anything different herself, she shrugged it off. "That's quite the ability you have there, Bosa. I can't tell the difference."
Launch chuckled, setting her cup down, and with a determined look… "Bulma, how certain are you that I'm carrying?"
Bulma, using the same device on her wrist, summoned a pregnancy test to be delivered. "I'm so sure that this little stick here isn't even needed. But feel free to use it, the bathroom is over there."
Launch took the test stick and left the room momentarily. When she came back, there was a mixed emotion around her. "Bulma, you're right… This stick says the same thing. Can you help tell my other self? This isn't something anyone would want to be surprised by."
Bulma and Chichi took a deep breath, each having a similar look on their faces, and nodded. "Launch, don't worry. We'll help you. I don't think either of us would have been happy to suddenly find out halfway through."
Launch sighed relieved, and even though she was currently in her blonde hair form… She was very clearly way more mellowed out than before. She still had that fiery side of this personality. She sneezed leaving the blue hair version of herself.
"Hey Launch, come sit down. We have something to tell you."
"Oh, that's okay, Bulma. I already know. Ever since the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, I've become aware of my other side. Tien will make a great father, don't you think?"
"He may be cold and stubborn at times. But at least he's no Yamcha. The guy hasn't even bothered to show his face around here. He's so cruel to his own boy."
Launch sneezed back, and she noticed that her memories remained intact. "Bulma, I just thought of something… What if my transformation ruins…" Suddenly another test stick appeared and Launch left again, returning even more relieved. "Thank you, Bulma. My transformation doesn't affect my pregnancy as far as I can tell."
Bulma giggled. "I bet that's a huge relief. Now then, Tien, he clearly wants to use that chamber more than he thought he would. How about you stay here? There's plenty of space and I'll set it up so he works security, meaning you'll have a steady income."
Launch sat back with a sigh. "That'd mean no more living on the run. And a steady life, plus benefits, right?"
Bulma nodded. "Come on, you're close friends. And an aunt to my son. What do you say?"
Launch looked at Chichi for a moment, then back to Bulma. "I like it, and I'm sure Tien would love to help Bosa grow up big and strong."
"YAY! Uncle Tien will be staying with us too now, right mommy?"
Bulma, rubbing Bosa's head, smiled. "That's what it means." She then looked at Launch. "Thank you for accepting Launch. Having friends here has made it much easier on me. And I know Bosa loves having all of you around."
"Hee hee!" Bosa smiled a big smile.
In the gravity chamber things were quite a bit different. Krillin, Tien, and Chiaotzu were sparring with Goku. Each breath they took, every move they made, all of it caused the three of them to adapt to the new gravity little by little. Surely enough, about an hour later, everyone was moving with a similar degree of ease as they did under normal gravity. Seeing this as a milestone, the four friends decided to take a break from sparring. Instead opting for simple motion practice, all in their attempts to fully adapt to this new environment.
Goku, did handstands, and practiced his balance. "Hey, Tien, did Launch look unusually happy earlier?"
Tien, having been in his meditative state, was jerked out of it as he recalled that one time he and Launch got… Well, a little too close. "No, it didn't look that way to me, Goku." His face blushed, hard.
Krillin covered his mouth with a knowing look, snickering. "Are you sure about that Tien? From where I'm standing it looks more like you and Launch are an item. Don't be bashful, you can tell us." He winked.
Chiaotzu giggled along with Krillin's snickering. "There was that one night they made so much noise I had to go on a night training session. And when I got back-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Goku chuckled. "So you had a round of night time sparring too then? Heh heh." He leaned in and whispered. "So, did ya win?"
Tien exploded with embarrassment. "How do you even win something like that?"
Krillin started rolling on the floor, pounding the floor with his fist as he laughed. "So you two did get it on. Ahahahaha! Oh hahahaha!"
"Hey, Tien, what do you mean, how? Chichi says I won, that's why we came back from our retreat in the mountains."
Chiaotzu realized the implication almost instantly. "Hey Goku, I think that means Chichi meant that she got what she wanted."
Goku, in his naive self, his jaw dropped, filled with confused shock. "What?! I don't remember seeing any storks? I haven't seen another baby other than Bosa. So how could there be another one, where is it? Is it hiding from me? Oh no, don't tell me it thinks I'm too scary?!"
"BWAHAHAHA! Goku, you're too funny sometimes."
"Come on Krillin, this is serious."
"Hahahaha! Oh hahahaha."
The women returned to see how things were going, and they walked in on, well, Chiaotzu was laughing hysterically in the air, Krillin looked like air refused to go in his lungs with how much he was laughing rolling around on the floor holding his sides, Tien was flushed yet laughing along with the other two. Goku on the other hand was panicking.
"Oh my, well it looks like you're used to the new gravity level. But why are you all laughing?"
Goku ran up to Bulma. "Hurry Bulma, they said there's a baby? Where is it? It's not hiding from me? Am I too scary?"
Bulma was clearly confused. "Hold on, explain the whole story to me alright-"
