POV: Wrath
I thought maybe you would be the one to free me from this hellish world, but I suppose it was just another delusional fantasy that I clinged onto.
With a deep sigh, I used my Aspect to pull out the boy's sword from its scabbard as I grabbed it from the air with the intent of killing him, but as I began walking towards him, a light began to grow within the boy's eyes as I felt a spine-chilling sensation, forcing me to instinctively retreat away from the boy, who slowly picked himself up from the ground as the air itself began to tremble from the sheer intensity of his Aspectual Force while his splendent lightning surged around his body, crackling fiercely.
Why did I suddenly back away-
As my instinctive retreat left me baffled, the boy appeared before me in a near instant as he snatched his sword from my hand and slashed my chest cleanly, leaving a deep, agonizing slash that stretched across my torso, overlapping Arthur's slash in a perpendicular manner as I winced in pain, staggering backwards in confusion as I tried to assessed the current situation calmly, despite my mind running amok.
What?
I quickly spaced myself away from the boy as gravity began to swell around my fist, but within a mere second, I knew this was no longer the same boy I had faced earlier as lightning surged around his hand and with a graceful step, the boy appeared before me and smashed his lightning infused fist into my abdomen, stunning me for a split-second as his lightning laid waste upon my body while I began coughing up blood from his fatal attack.
As I tried to gather my composure, the boy's eyes sharpened as he tried to cut me down with a single slash, however, I repelled him away with my Aspect as the boy slid backwards across the ground, but in the midst of his momentum, he manipulated the lightning crackling around his body into a visible bolt of lightning as he planted his feet firmly into the ground and locked his eyes with my own.
"Asunder." The boy uttered as he hurled the deadly bolt of lightning towards me, exploding onto my chest at an incredible speed as I howled in pain from being electrocuted alive until the excess energy dispersed, forcing me onto a knee as blood trickled from my tightened lips while steam issued from the mild burns across my body.
"As of now, you don't stand a chance against me. Give up." The boy demanded sharply as I picked myself up from the ground, cracking my neck as I gazed into the boy's eyes, which were void of any hesitation as he truly intended to kill me depending on my answer.
Those eyes…
"And what if I were to decline your offer?" I asked with an amused grin as the boy coated his sword with his own aura, which was infused with lightning.
"Then I'm afraid this is your end." The boy replied indifferently as he vanished from my sight and appeared before me with the intention of decapitating me, but through sheer luck, I was able to repel him away with my Aspect as the impact sent him sliding backwards across the ground while a droplet of cold sweat dripped from my face.
I underestimated this boy.
Now that he's using his Aspect to its fullest extent, I'm struggling to perceive his movements.
His lightning is also more destructive and faster than your standard lightning, not to mention I've sustained far too many injuries from my previous fight against Arthur, but nonetheless…
This is the thrill that I've been waiting for!
As I positioned myself, the boy dashed towards me with several precise slashes aimed for my torso, however, I weaved through each lethal slash with deft footwork as I stepped forward and tried to uppercut his chin, but to my dismay, the boy slipped under my arm as he slashed through the right side of my torso with a nimble maneuver, causing me to wince in pain as I turned around to face the boy, who approached me quickly.
I used my Aspect to repel the boy away from me as I began to space myself away from him in order to recuperate, but despite the strong force of gravity, the boy showed admirable resistance, barely moving and inch as he planted his feet firmly into the ground, glaring directly into my eyes as I felt a spine-chilling sensation from the boy's haunting eyes.
"You think you've escaped?" The boy asked with irritation laced in his tone as he launched a large slash of lightning with a mere swing of his sword, his attack tearing through the earth itself as if it was paper while it approached me quickly, empowered with lethality as the boy's unparalleled potential aroused my curiosity even more.
This boy can even use an advanced sword technique?!
I raised my hand towards the imminent threat approaching me and dispersed his attack with a force of gravity, but as I negated his attack, the boy vanished from my sight and appeared behind me with lightning surging around his hand as he intended to impale my torso, however, I was able to catch his wrist as the tips of his fingers seeped into my chest while the tendrils of his crazed lightning lashed across my skin.
Neither of us would budge, remaining at a standstill until I eventually tried to repel him away with a force of gravity, but to my dismay, the boy resisted the force of my gravity once more, enduring persistently with blood trickling from his nose and mouth as he let out a booming roar, overpowering my own strength as he clenched his fist and smashed it into my chest, sending me sliding backwards across the ground as I braced myself for the inevitable pain, gritting my teeth with blood seeping through every crevice as the aftershock of his attack laid waste upon my body.
"That's the spirit!" I shouted exuberantly, enduring the aftershock of his attack as I immediately dashed towards the boy, ignoring the harrowing pain building up within my chest as my sudden approach alarmed the boy, provoking him to try and slash through my chest with the blade of his sword, but to his surprise, I weaved his blade and smashed my fist into his jaw with a sharp left hook, causing him to stumble sidewards as gravity began to swell around my fist.
As the boy was in a daze, I tried to smash my fist into his face, but the boy's reaction time seemed inhuman as he narrowingly slipped under my arm, twisting his body on the pivot of his heel as he landed a near-crippling spinning back heel kick into my chin, my brain slamming against the side of my skull as I lost consciousness for a mere second until I felt the blade of the boy's sword pierce through my abdomen, causing me to spew out blood from his blade puncturing one of my organs.
This is ridiculous.
This boy is no older than a highschooler and yet, he's already attained this level of strength.
As the boy tried to rip his sword free from my abdomen, I gripped the blade of his sword with one hand and tensed my abdomen muscles tightly, preventing him from removing his sword as I slammed the side of my fist into the blade of his sword, breaking in the midst as I then used my Aspect to repel the boy away from me, using the little time I created to recuperate as fatigue dawned over me.
The boy eventually regained his footing as he sheathed his broken sword and sprinted towards me, initiating an exchange of hand-to-hand combat as we were fairly even until the tendrils of the boy's lightning began to lash across my skin once more, stunning me relentlessly as the speed of my attacks gradually lessened while the boy's attacks sharpened to a terrifying degree, forcing me on the defensive as my forearms ached with numbness from the boy's heavy fist thrashing into them.
This boy's aptitude for combat is greater than my own and his Aspectallows him to dominate anyone within close range.
Even if one were to space themselves away from him, he could close the gap between them in a near instant with his speed and the worst of it all, he can even use ranged attacks.
As of now, there's no way for me to win this fight unless I'm able to use the spatial technique of my Aspect, which requires a considerable amount of energy and at least a few seconds to prepare, but if I'm interrupted or even fail, it would cost me my life.
The boy eventually broke through my guard and ended his onslaught with a spinning back kick into my chest, sending me skidding across the forest as a triumphant grin crept onto my face.
Alright, it's all or nothing!
