Chapter 4
"Tell me, do you like her?" I asked and she blushed.
"Huh? Of course. Who else could it be?" She replied happily.
"But...If you were to chose between Crystal and May, whom would you chose?" I asked and she looked stuck a bit.
"Well...I don't know. Crystal is very lovely comparable to May. But, I think I'd still chose May" she replied and I smiled.
"Huh? Both of them look cool to me" I said and she. Scoffed.
"Trust me, darling. It's because you haven't gotten to meet them face to face.
I scoffed and shook my head. Is she serious or something? Crystal and some other musician are good, I know but why will she talk about May not being cool. How can she tell me to be careful around her?
Silver and I went on talking and eating for sometime and I kind of enjoyed her company. She was a fun person.
We went back to our different places after lunch.
To be sincere, I really like my first day, seeing Mayor May though she acted blinded towards me, but ah!
After some hours, work was over and it was ready closing time, everyone went to their destination in different ways, same with me.
When I got home, luckily, dad was still around. And so, his wife and kids didn't have an opportunity to bully me.
Too bad he'll be leaving tomorrow.
I had dinner with him and explained briefly about my first day as a worker. Although I didn't tell him about the May's part. Like why'd I do that geez!
We spent a long time together and after a while, I went up to my room for a bath and a rest.
Well, like I said, I only get to enjoy these privileges when dad was around.
The moment he leaves again by tomorrow, my life's gonna turn into a living hell.
I brought out my book and wrote about my little experience with May. It was very brief, but meant a lot to me. I kept smiling the whole time.
Hmm! Feels good.
I remembered her dip voice which was sounding too much in my ears:
"Do you realise this is a restricted area?"
Hold on; do anyone else ever thought about her voice?
Well, at that moment, they were scary. But right now, they're sweet.
Oh, goodness!
Heaven just take me away already!
I could recall how hot she looked when she turned around to unhook herself from the door handle- those big dazzling eyes of hers; the nose; the sweet pink lips and the long hair.
I wish I could get hold that face. Even if it was just for a second.
'I'm really too into this lady and it's driving me crazy', I wrote. And I wish I could take away the sadness you feel. Too bad you now dislike ladies'.
I led upwards, rethinking the whole thing.
I really wish I can get to see her again.
Well, tomorrow is another day, right? Was I really there to work or to look at May? Hmm, Pim!!
Oh, God!.
I really can't wait.

I woke up the next morning, feeling kind of excited. I had breakfast and dressed up and after that, dad dropped me off again.
"See you later, Pim" he told me as he stopped at the pack awaiting me to step down.
"Pop" I called sadly.
"When will you be travelling?"
"Oh; in less than an hours or three" he replied.
Uhm...
"how long will it take before you return?"
"Uhm...I don't know; maybe some weeks or months".
My heart ached when he told me about it. I can't imagine what it's going to be like living with those family of his.
"Don't worry, pumpkin. Everything will be fine, okay?" He said kissing my forehead and I smiled and left the car.
Hmm.

Back again in the building. I hope today won't be as hard as yesterday.
I started walking into the building, admiring anyone I came across. Too bad none of them paid attention to me.
I got to the change room and bring at my work cloth and put them on. More workers kept trooping in and out and I looked curiously.
Oh; i have to start cleaning my part which I need to clean. The offices.
Oh-oh.
That means May might not be coming now.
Too bad.
After a short while, the first part of my work was over. going to another part someone opened the door and I just jump awkwardly, he walk pass me and placed the documents he was holding in the table and walked out, closing the door behind him.
Then, after some minutes, the next thing was to arrange the documents. and finally, it was over.
Hah!
I can hardly wait!
What should I do next, I don't know. Should I sit and wait until the owner gets here and when she messes any place, I clean it up?
Ah! Seriously.
I was kind of puzzled not knowing what to do.
Huh?
I itched my head and couldn't pay attention to detail anymore, my mind was occupied.
Where is she? I thought she will be here since I saw her yesterday. Why will they employ a different cleaner at first place huh?.
Why do they employ someone to clean, if she doesn't come to the office.
I walk out of the office taking the mob and broom stick back to the rightful place and come back to the office to check if every where's in place.
"I walk to the shift, I start looking at the book on it, hoping I will find something to read or what ever.
There's no one coming into the office, I guess no one will know.
Different book and ancients history book is also available here. What are they using them for? Ah, maybe she like old fashion stuff too.
"I pick one heavy book in green color back cover and went to take a sit in the sofa.
"I began sweeping from page to page looking at the wonderful artwork in the book.
Wow.
Beautiful creature artwork. Some write up I couldn't read but some was easy to read.
I wasn't familiar with any of this place. I haven't explored maybe that's the reason.
I was still focused on the book, read and smiling to myself when I suddenly heard the door sound. I gasping and jittered.
I look up straight to see what was the sound and...Oh, my God!
Mayor May!!!
She!
