But as I open my eyes, I'm surprised to see a light blue screen hovering mere inches in front of my face.
The hell?
My hands shoot up to rub my eyes, as if that will somehow make it disappear. But it's still there, floating in midair. As I stare at it in confusion, words begin to appear.
"Hello, Host. You have been chosen to host the Hypnosis System."
More words materialize before I can even react.
"Host form has been deemed insufficient to wield the full powers of the system. Recalculating... Beginner mode has been activated."
Before I can fully process what's happening, a new notification appears.
