Sophia and I sat down at the kitchen table, pouring over a map of the area. We were trying to come up with a plan to deal with The Order.
"We need to be careful," Sophia said, her eyes scanning the map. "The Order has eyes and ears everywhere. We can't trust anyone."
I nodded, feeling a sense of unease. I had never been in a situation like this before.
"What's our goal?" I asked.
Sophia's eyes locked on mine. "Our goal is to get you to a safe location, where you can learn more about your abilities and how to control them."
I nodded, feeling a sense of determination. I was ready to do whatever it took to stay safe.
"But first, we need to gather more information about The Order," Sophia said. "We need to know their plans, their numbers, and their weaknesses."
I frowned, unsure how we were going to do that.
Sophia smiled. "Leave that to me," she said. "I have some...connections that can help us."
I raised an eyebrow, curious about Sophia's connections. But before I could ask any questions, she stood up.
"Let's get moving," she said. "We have a lot of work to do."
I nodded, standing up. We spent the rest of the day gathering supplies and information, preparing for our next move.
As the sun began to set, Sophia and I sat down to rest. We were both exhausted, but we knew we couldn't afford to relax.
Not yet.
As we sat there, I couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead. Would we be able to stay one step ahead of The Order? And what would happen when we finally faced them?
I glanced at Sophia, who was watching me with a serious expression.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Sophia's eyes locked on mine. "I've been thinking," she said. "We need to be prepared for anything. The Order is not to be underestimated."
I nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. I knew that Sophia was right.
