So, uh. Fun update. Everything is worse than we thought.
Mason found a file about Project Zeta. You know, the thing that ended the world.
"They really thought they could control it.." Mason mutters. "But Zeta had its own ideas."
I don't like how that sounds. I especially don't like how every file we open keeps confirming that this wasn't an accident.
Apparently, Mason's dad tried to stop it. He saw where things were heading, but by the time he realized just how bad it was, Zeta had already taken over.
No pressure or anything, but we're basically standing in the ruins of his failure.
