Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A Mind Beyond Its Years

The royal palace was a place of luxury and power, where nobles indulged in wealth and politics, caring little for the struggles of commoners. However, among them was an unusual child—a prince who did not behave like a child at all.

From the moment he could walk and talk, Solis absorbed knowledge like a sponge.

The Discovery of Magic (Age 2)

At the age of 2, Solis began reading every book he could get his hands on.

One day, as he flipped through an ancient tome in the royal library, he stumbled upon something that shocked him—Magic.

In his past life, science and war machines ruled the battlefield, but in this world, power was determined by magic.

He read further.

• Magic is an energy within all living beings.

• Grimoires, received at age 15, unlock true magical potential.

• Magic is hereditary, with nobles possessing greater power than commoners.

This was a world where power determined everything.

For the first time since his reincarnation, he felt excitement.

"This is a world where strength is absolute… If I want to change it, I need power."

Solis clenched his tiny fists.

Even without a grimoire, he could already feel something inside him—a burning energy, a warmth unlike anything else.

"So I have magic… but it's asleep."

This realization ignited a new goal within him.

"If my magic is dormant, then I must awaken it myself."

And so, he began his journey—not only to understand this world but to master its power.

A Prodigy Awakens (Ages 3-5)

By age 3, while most children played with toys, Solis studied books on politics, warfare, and history. He understood concepts far beyond his years, shocking his caretakers.

He knew that one day, it would be his burden to carry the kingdom.

As he observed his **father—the current king—**he saw nothing but a wasteful ruler who cared only for lavish pleasures, showing no interest in governing.

Whenever he looked at the nobles, he saw greedy eyes, filled with hunger for power.

Even now, Solis remembered his past life—a world where war consumed everything, where even a piece of bread was a luxury, and resources were scarce due to constant conflict.

"That will never happen in this life."

He swore that no child in his kingdom would suffer the way he once had.

He would ensure that every child lived their childhood to the fullest, free from hunger and fear.

"But first, I must understand everything about my kingdom and its history."

Testing the Prodigy (Age 5)

One day, his tutor—Duke Reginald, an esteemed scholar—noticed Solis' unnatural speed in absorbing knowledge and decided to test him.

"Solis-sama," the tutor began, "can you tell me why the Clover Kingdom's economy is strong?"

Solis, who was casually flipping through an ancient war manual, replied without looking up.

"The Clover Kingdom holds dominance due to its abundant magic resources, but it is stagnant. The noble system stifles innovation, and inefficient tax policies favor greedy aristocrats rather than national development."

The tutor froze, his face pale.

He had underestimated the young prince.
