Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Awakens

Solis sat in the royal library, engrossed in books on governance and military strategy, when he felt it—a sudden, unnatural surge of heat spreading through his body. At first, it was like stepping into warm sunlight, but within seconds, it became a raging inferno. His muscles tensed, mana flared uncontrollably, and the temperature in the room spiked.

Scholars and nobles gasped in alarm, sweat forming on their brows. The once peaceful study hall became a furnace, with the very air shimmering from the intensity.

"What is this…?" Solis muttered, gripping the desk as his entire body pulsed with power. Every passing second, it grew stronger, almost as if the sun itself had awakened inside him.

Then, panic erupted.

"The temperature—it's unbearable!"

"What's happening?!"

"The books—they're catching fire!"

All eyes turned to Solis. He was the source of the phenomenon.

Realizing the danger, Solis bolted from the library, desperately trying to suppress the power. But it wouldn't stop—it only grew. As he sprinted through the palace halls, the stone beneath his feet cracked, furniture burst into flames, and the walls began to glow red-hot.

By the time he reached the royal garden, it was too late.

A blinding burst of golden light exploded from his body, followed by a wave of intense heat that vaporized trees, shattered fountains, and melted stone pathways. The explosion engulfed half the garden, leaving it a scorched wasteland.

And then—everything went dark.

Solis collapsed. His vision blurred, his body felt heavy, and the world faded into unconsciousness.

Aftermath & Reactions

The palace was in chaos. Servants and knights rushed toward the destroyed garden, some fearing an attack. But what they found shook them to their core—Solis, the crown prince, lying at the center of the devastation, completely unconscious.

Vermillion Household Response

• Fuegoleon Vermillion arrived first, his expression unreadable as he gazed upon the destruction. Instead of fear, he felt a deep curiosity.

• "For this level of power to manifest before receiving a grimoire… it's unheard of."

• He crouched beside Solis, checking his pulse. He was alive—just exhausted.

• "Strength without control is meaningless. If he cannot wield this power, it will consume him."

• Mereoleona Vermillion, however, grinned wildly. Unlike her composed brother, she saw pure potential.

• "Hah! Now THIS is what I like to see! This brat might actually be worth training!"

• She looked at the palace guards, who stood frozen in fear.

• "Tch. What's with those weak faces? This is how true warriors are made!"

Nozel Silva's Reaction

• Nozel Silva stood in the distance, observing with sharp, calculating eyes. He had always believed in noble superiority, but Solis was different.

• A king's son, but one with overwhelming raw power, even without a grimoire? It was unnatural.

• "If he masters this power… he won't just rule—he will reshape the entire kingdom."

• For the first time in years, Nozel felt something unusual—unease.

The Royal Court's Secret Meeting

• Behind closed doors, noble families debated the event.

• Some feared Solis, calling him a dangerous anomaly.

• Others saw him as a symbol of absolute strength—the true king the Clover Kingdom needed.

• Regardless of their stance, one thing was certain:

• The nobles could no longer ignore Solis Vermillion.

Solis Awakens

Hours later, Solis woke up in his private chamber, his body sore, but his mind sharp. He could still feel the lingering heat inside him, proof that what happened was real.
