Hello, I wrote this novel. I was very hesitant to post this novel on Webnovel, and my hesitation was justified because there is no interaction with the novel in the relationships. I really worked hard on it, so I hope that you will interact with the novel by responding to it and liking it. Thank you for reading my message, and I hope that you will not ignore my request.

I screamed with all my strength, but the sound that came out was hoarse—like fear had gripped my throat and refused to let go. I stumbled back from the mirror, my breaths ragged, my hands desperately searching for something to hold onto. But I was alone.
Or so I thought.
My scream echoed in the room, but it wasn't alone. There was another sound—a faint, distorted laugh, as if it had come from the mouth of someone who didn't belong to this world.
Then, I heard the words, whispered so close to my ear that I could almost feel the breath behind them:
"No one will believe you."
A shiver ran down my spine. I looked around frantically, but the room was empty… the closet was closed, and the mirror only reflected my pale face and wide, terrified eyes.
Had I imagined all of this?
But… no. There was something different. Something I hadn't noticed before.
On the mirror's surface, where the words had been etched moments ago, handprints had appeared.
They weren't mine.
They were larger, distorted, as if someone else had pressed their hand against the glass.
I couldn't take it anymore.
I bolted for the door, gripping the handle as a cold draft from the hallway sent chills through me. I rushed out, my feet barely touching the floor, as if I were fleeing from something that would never truly leave me alone.
But just before I could shut the door behind me…
I heard one last whisper.
"This is only the beginning, Iris."
To be continued...
