A day passed in the Sinclair mansion, and the day that Kaelith was to follow his dad to the fundraiser finally arrived.
Kaelith sighed as he stood before the suit he was to wear. He had never worn one before.
"What am I even supposed to do at a fundraiser? Hold a wine glass and sip from it?" he muttered to himself, placing a finger on his chin as he stared intently at the suit.
His dad had it ordered from one of the finest seamstresses in town, a woman so skilled that gender didn't matter in her designs. His mother had suggested getting it fitted by a professional, but Kaelith refused—he wanted to do it himself for the sake of sentimentality.
He ran his hand over the suit, then turned to the bed where his underwear lay. After putting on the necessary items, he proceeded with the pants, then the shirt, followed by the cufflinks, and finally the suit. He tied his tie around his neck—though he knew it should've come before the shirt—but he wasn't chasing perfection, so it would do.
