(POV MC)
"Sweetie." Mom called my name.
'What's wrong... I feel weird, but my spells aren't picking up on anything...' She thought before she ultimately ignored her feelings on that matter to keep teaching her son the basics.
"Ya Mom?" I asked while sitting down on the same couch.
"What were we talking about a few minutes ago?" Mom asked while playing dumb.
"We were talking about Eldian history. The persecution and schemes involved the seven churches and other Beyonder organizations that all sought to kill every last Eldian.
You also talked about how all of Monster Kind seemed to hate the Eldian people back in the day as they were the favorite meal of most monsters." I replied, explaining the general gist of what she had told me.
"Good job sweetie... You know, I'm starting to actually believe you. Whenever you now talk about your memorization skills, along with many other mental qualities, that has improved drastically." Mom said as she used her mana hand to ruffle my hair from a distance as she gave me a smug expression.
'I still can't believe how much my baby, has changed after he woke up... It's only a matter of time before he surpasses me in magic with his kind of natural talent.' She thought while looking at her baby.
"I still don't get why you guys don't believe me..." I said while taking this transparent blue hand off my head as I started to move my long hair away from covering my face.
"What do you know about the nine in Eldian history again?" She asked as she used one last test to see If her baby was right about them.
"Only nine among them have the power to rival gods, but each dies after 13 years after obtaining the power." I repiled as I looked at my notes to make a few corrections in it's pages myself.
"Since you know that, you might as well learn the fact that the current holder of the foundering titan is the king of his race. Most importantly, the founder titan, got his powers when he was younger.
We are not sure how young, but he was using his powers throughout his entire active life on the battlefield. Long story short, he's been king since the end of World War Two." Mom said while she moved on to talk about some other facts about the Eldian people.
"You got that, sweetie?" My Mom asked.
"Mom the founding titan is essentially a God for the subjects of Ymir, who have Eldian blood right? Where is the secret history you promised me." I asked with a questioning tone.
'I'll ask her about souls later. What she talked about was more important. She said EY was the current king of Paradis island, the current holder of the founding titan. Mom told me that, but she also said EY was born in 1928 and became king in 1945 at 17. This doesn't make any sense if he had his titan powers in his teens, yet he is still alive to this day.' I knew something was wrong, but maybe I heard it wrong...
'No, Mom wouldn't get her facts wrong. Maybe I'm not remembering something correctly...' I thought as I kept reviewing my notebook to see for any mistakes.
'I'll give my baby boy a minute to come to his conclusions before telling him the secrets I promised at the start. I wonder what my baby boy is so frustrated about...' She thought to herself.
"When I told you secrets, I meant it. Sweetie, back in World War Two, it wasn't two nukes that forced Japan out of the war.
The alliance between the nations & The United States didn't defeat Nazi Germany and its allies. It was all him, the devil of Paradis, the king of the Eldians, the newest God born in the modern age." Mom said with a deafening silence as she paused for a bit to let it sink in.
'EY shouldn't notice this right... While public history has been altered, anyone in the supernatural community has easy access to this information.' She thought as she avoided using his name, and only talked about his titles or initials.
'My lady wouldn't be so sloppy to let that freedom-loving idiot notice her little game.' Arachneras Rachnee thought as she could still hear everything.
"Mom, should we be talking about this? You told me that we shouldn't look upon the Beyonder Gods, and shouldn't use their names or else they will notice." I asked as I kept looking around with me jumping at the slightest sound I heard.
"So you weren't lying about your improved memory. I usually would be forced to repeat myself often. Yes, it is dangerous, but our house is warded in runes, magic spells, cursed barriers, and more for safety."
'Yes the safest house in the world or so you think.' Rachnee thought.
'Not like any Beyonder Gods could notice, or come here anyways with how much security I added with James during the years.' She thought
'Ignorance truly is bliss.' Rachnee thought while hearing this.
"So my baby boy has nothing to fear when you're home, just make sure to never say their true name out loud anywhere as they will always notice. No matter how isolated or safe you think you are!" Mom replied while emphasizing the last part.
'I Guess our place is pretty safe after all. But, the music is getting a little annoying today...' I thought while trying to focus on my mom's lecture.
"Mom, can you turn off the music while I'm learning here, the (Hex Girls) are great. But do you have to play their songs right now on your record player?" I replied while putting my foot down in this department for once.
'Lucas you're no fun... The (Hex Girls) have been my favorite band since 1556 you know!' Rachnee thought as she frowned.
"Fine, but I'll still have my music on any other time. You can't stop this sweetie, you know for a fact they are my favorite artists, they have been around since my grandma was a child." Mom said.
'Your grandma sure has taste, Emma!' Rachnee thought as she started laughing at those memories Emma had presently on her mind.
'Wait a minute, didn't mom tell me her grandma was an ancient witch or something? Did I miss heard her or something?' I thought as my brows rose and my mouth widened.
'Maybe your mom did maybe she did not Lucas, keep on guessing kid.' Rachnee ask her mood lighted with all this interesting drama going on.
