Chapter 14 - conference

(Hello There, there was abig mistakes in chapter 5 so go read it again)

After years of continuous training and noticeable development in his skills, Orion reached the age of eight and a half, and he still sought to improve his combat abilities and master the arts of the shadows. However, he decided to temporarily stop training to attend a conference that included the heads of the families that jointly ruled the THJ-825 sector, where the region governed by the Stellar Alliance was located.

This conference was not just a meeting for politicians and leaders, but also an opportunity for heirs and young elites to meet and get to know each other. Therefore, it was necessary for Orion to be in his best condition, as he did not attend such occasions in his usual clothes.

Although he preferred practical clothing, he had a high sense of style, so he went to the famous old tailor of his family. Upon entering his workshop, he was surprised by his incredible speed in tailoring, where his hands seemed to move at a speed that exceeded the ability of the naked eye to capture. As soon as the old man noticed him, he stood up and bowed respectfully, which made Orion smile faintly before asking him to tailor a black suit with a black shirt, a black vest, black pants, a leather belt, as well as design black gloves and black shoes.

While Orion was being measured, he thought about his upcoming trip to the planet Pandemonium, where the environmental conditions were volatile, so he decided to visit the old man to make several diverse robes that would suit different environments, from heavy snow to scorching deserts and heavy rain. However, they would certainly not be suits; he would make something suitable for his fighting style and movement.

Three days later, the time came for the trip to the conference. Orion stood in front of his mirror in his room, wearing his black suit with the black shirt, black vest, black gloves, and black shoes. It wasn't that Orion was a fan of the color black, but he felt comfortable wearing black clothes. Orion's clothes currently covered all of his skin except for his face and part of his neck. Then he looked at his reflection in the mirror. A young man who was 185 centimeters tall, with black hair, dark eyes, and a fair white complexion. He couldn't help but wonder, "When I become stronger, how much more handsome will I be?"

He left his room heading towards the front courtyard of the palace, where a huge spaceship awaited him, ready to take off. He climbed the stairs with steady steps, and upon entering, he found his friends sitting around a table near the window, while the adults were elsewhere inside the ship. He didn't need to see them to know they were here, as the automatic closing of the door as soon as he got on was proof that he was the last to arrive.

He sat with his friends, and they had a short conversation about the trip and the conference, then the ship took off at high speed, piercing the planet's atmosphere. When everyone saw space for the first time with their own eyes, they felt awe, as the view before them was magical, where the stars and planets stretched out like a boundless work of art.

After 12 hours of traveling at the speed of light, the ship arrived at the conference planet. From his window, Orion saw many huge spaceships, each carrying a different emblem, indicating the family it belonged to. The ship landed safely at the airport designated to receive delegations. After the ship landed at the airport, the heads of the Alliance families appeared next to Orion and his friends, nodding their heads in understanding of the situation.

The door of the spaceship opened, and then the adults began to leave the ship one after the other, with Oscar in the lead, of course, then the young people followed behind them. Then they were greeted by two delegations who bowed to them. The eldest of them said after greeting them that the adults could follow him and the first delegation, while the young people would follow the second delegation. Of course, the delegation's language was not the language of the planet Nihari, but thanks to the smart chip, the conversations were translated into the user's language. The adults and young people separated. Orion and his friends followed the second delegation for ten minutes, then they entered a tall building and then went up the elevator, heading to what seemed to be the top floor. After reaching the top floor, the delegation respectfully indicated to head towards two large doors. Orion led his friends to the two doors for two reasons. The first was that he was the heir of the Alliance, as the heirs of the Terra family were always the future patriarchs of the Stellar Alliance. This was due to the fact that the ancestors of the other four families considered the ancestor of the Terra family their leader, even if they were friends, so it became a tradition that the heirs of the Terra family were the heirs of the Stellar Alliance. Therefore, Orion Terra was considered the face of the Stellar Alliance for the younger generation. The second reason was close to the first. Although the five were friends and could be considered half-brothers, in their hearts they always followed Orion, as he was calm, wiser, and more intelligent than them, and most importantly, he was the strongest.

Inside the young generation's hall, it housed numerous races; some were seated at tables while others stood talking with each other. However, the most eye-catching table was a large one with 50 seats around it, all occupied except for one. This table was for the heirs of the families; some were conversing with each other, and some were quiet. Of course, the last seat was reserved for Orion, as his family was the last to arrive at the conference. Suddenly, a voice echoed throughout the hall, catching everyone's attention: "The Stellar Alliance enters!" The two guards beside the door received instructions through their smart chips. Each of them began to go to a handle on the two doors and started to open them. On the other side, Orion sensed the movement of shadows behind the door and knew it would be opened. He looked at his friends and nodded calmly at them, and they returned the nod. After the door opened, Orion entered confidently, followed by his friends. The eyes of the attendees turned towards them, while the eyes of the heirs turned to Orion. Their black hair and eyes, different from the Terra family, caught their attention, and they thought the same thing: another anomaly, as there were anomalies among them as well. Orion's friends separated from him and went to their table, while Orion continued straight to the main table. Orion reached his seat, pulled it out, and sat down calmly, then looked into their eyes. A shiver ran through their bodies when they made eye contact with him. Orion didn't try to start a conversation or get to know new people; frankly, he wasn't interested in the entire conference. He would have preferred to continue his training or fight some monsters instead of attending the conference. The main table remained silent for a while, unlike the other tables where conversations continued, and some even went to get to know Orion's friends.

The main table remained silent until the silence was broken by the voice of a young man sitting opposite, speaking with a smile: "Well, why this silence while the Big boys are discussing their own matters? Why don't we try to get to know each other? And what's a better way to get to know people than games? So, why don't we play a game?"

A young woman from the vampire race, with silver hair and red eyes named Lily, replied with a frown, "What kind of game?"

The young man, Kai, who spoke for the first time, looked at her and said, "Simple, we will all be given a smart card with the name of a monster on it. When scanned with your smart chip, 90 percent will know the monster's name, while the remaining 10 percent are spies who will try to find out the information. Each person can ask one question to one person only in each round, and the answer to the question must be yes or no. And of course, a person cannot directly ask someone if they are a spy or about the monster's name. At the end of each round, a vote will be held, and the person with the most votes will be eliminated. A vote will also be held for the spies about the monster's name. If the monster's name is indeed the one with the most votes, the spies win."

Upon hearing Kai's words, Orion and others thought about a hidden goal behind this game, which was to understand the personalities of the heirs. Although knowing people's personalities might seem unimportant, it is easier to fight someone if you know how they think. "This person is not easy," Kai had white hair and eyes that seemed to contain all colors, wearing a white kimono with a blue sash around his waist that served as a belt. From his appearance, Orion guessed he was an anomaly like himself.

Then Kai looked around the table, waiting for the heirs' responses. Voices came one after another: "Okay," "Agreed," "Why not." One after another, then he looked at Orion, who remained silent as usual, and their eyes met before Kai smiled and said, "What about you, uhh, sorry, I don't know your name?" Orion replied calmly, "Orion, and I see no objection to that."

Kai nodded with a smile, then took out a smart card, scanned it, and passed it to the person next to him, then to the next, one after another, until it reached Orion. Then he scanned it, and a monster's name and appearance appeared on the smart chip screen: (Ice Emperor) It was a type of monster that resembled a penguin. Then Orion passed it to the person next to him until it returned to Kai.

And with that, the game began.
