Chapter 24 - The obessesion

Just then, Michael caught Silva's attention again.

"Well, I can't trust you. So why not have us go to court instead and have a contract?"

Silva's gaze turned cold as she thought, "He's still this persistent?"

She sighed. "Alright, let's wrap this up."

She thought as Christiana finally left to her room.

"Alright, let's drop this. I'm well aware that you and I both know I'm not pregnant," Silva said, dropping beside his ear coldly.

"So tell me, why are you still here?"

Michael smiled, his expression almost semi-intoxicated as Silva spoke.

"I'm here for you, Silva. So why not drop the act and become mine?" Michael whispered with a calculated smirk.

"I'm sure you know what I mean without me going into detail. I can give you far better than he can offer!"

Silva's gaze turned cold as she moved away from Michael, but he grabbed her wrist.

"Get off me!" Silva snapped, smacking his hand away with disgust written on her face.

Michael, seeing the hurt in her expression, felt a pang in his chest as his perfect doll showed such disdain.

Then a creepy smile slowly crept across his face.

"Silva, once more, become mine willingly, and I won't let this pregnancy go any further."

"After all, it seems like you and Christian need this pregnancy," Michael said with a cunning, manipulative grin.

"If that's not the case, why not publicly announce the pregnancy was a lie?" Michael whispered in her ear.

He'll catch on soon enough and use that as an excuse to manipulate me into divorcing Christian and marrying him, Silva thought, her lips curling into a faint smirk.

"Are you sure about that? Because I can ruin your little claim of a false pregnancy with just a miscarriage report, like this!" Silva snapped her fingers.

"So, Michael, what do you think?" Silva smiled brightly, her voice dripping with a convincing tone as she began to move away from him.

Michael's smirk widened, but he replied, "Well, then, I'll be waiting for that, then."

"After all, this all seems like a bluff, my dear Silva," Michael thought to himself.

"Really?"

Silva's tone turned cold, her smile icy.

"I need to cut off all his power now, as he's clearly aware that this false pregnancy is essential to both me and Christian," Silva thought, moving closer to him.

"Are you sure you want to sever the ties between us?"

"Are you perfectly fine with that? Never seeing me again once I announce the miscarriage?"

Silva's smile widened, her words slicing through the air with sharp intent, clearly getting into Michael's head.

"An obsessive lover like him would kill to cling to anything that keeps him connected to his object of obsession!" Silva thought, watching Michael's shift in demeanor.

"Oh?"

Silva smiled, watching him closely, fully aware of the conflict she'd just triggered.

"Seems like he's torn between continuing his manipulation and the possibility of never seeing me again."

Meanwhile, Michael thought to himself,

"Judging from her statement, it's clear she's in need of that false pregnancy, meaning all of this is just a bluff!"

Then Silva noticed the smirk on his face.

"Seems like he's smarter than I thought, she thought coldly."

Michael raised three fingers.

"I give you three weeks."

"No, two week to get everything sorted out with Christian and divorce him. Unless that pregnancy you and he need will be coming to court with me!"

Silva's expression turned cold, with a hint of irritation.

"Fine, until we see you in court then."

"Now that you're aware of this, congratulations," Silva began, smiling mockingly as she clapped her hands.

"What does that bring you? Taking us to court for something that isn't even real?"

Silva taunted him as she whispered,

"Oh, what a waste of money." She grinned, delighted by her own words.

"Anyway, if you'll excuse me…"

She snapped her fingers.

Claudia immediately appeared from the staircase.

"Please escort him out with the security."

With that, Silva walked back up the stairs.

"Yes, ma'am," Claudia responded.

Meanwhile, Michael's expression twisted into absolute madness as he grinned.

"Letting you go is not an option."

"Until I get my hands on you and make you mine, my perfect doll, you're not going anywhere!"

Michael thought, his gaze darkening as Silva was escorted out.

"My perfect doll." Michael's memories flashed briefly, remembering how his father had crushed his doll.

"Dolls are meant for females, not men."

Present-day Michael grinned, his father's words echoing in his mind.

" Father… if you only knew, men can have dolls too."

"With piercing blue eyes like jewels!" he thought as he got into his car and the driver pulled off.

"Silva, I'm never giving up on you until you become mine!"
