William: "Where is she... Where on earth is she?"
William said anxiously, desperately searching for his daughter, Aurelia. He had searched every possible place where she might be. In the forest, the parks, and every open shop or bar. Aurelia was nowhere to be found. The sense of fear surrounded him, and the unknown made him worry more than ever.
William: "I need to find her, Aurelia... Please... Tell me you're okay... I beg you... Where are you? I've searched everywh—don't tell me... Please, anything but that!"
His voice trembled with intensity and fear as he continued to search relentlessly. The thought that something bad might have happened to her consumed his mind. He simply couldn't bear it... He didn't want to lose her.
Distressed, he turned and ran in another direction, hoping he might find a clue as to where his daughter could be. Time had passed, and Aurelia should have already left Ciel's mansion. She had said her goodbyes, and Ciel, in a subtle and elegant way, had asked Sebastian to escort her outside. Aurelia accepted the farewell and kissed him gently on the hand, wishing him a good night.
Sebastian opened the front door and walked with her to the courtyard. The scent of the night was enchanting, although the chill in the air made the feeling even more intense. Still, Aurelia didn't find it bothersome. On the contrary, the tranquility of the surroundings made her feel at ease.
Sebastian: "Are you sure you don't want me to escort you to where you live? It won't take us long to get there..."
Aurelia: "No, thank you... I can go on my own. Besides, I think it's better this way. I don't want William to see me with you... He doesn't like you much, as you know... and he doesn't want me too close to you..."
Sebastian: "Yes, I've understood that... Very well, then, I'll respect your decision. But at least let me say something last..."
Aurelia turned her gaze to Sebastian, waiting for what would Sebastian say to her. He sat calmly, letting the silence fill the air for a moment. It was as though he was thinking about something, and the tension in the silence began to create an inexplicable sense of awkwardness in Aurelia. Finally, Sebastian took a deep breath, turned to her, and stepped a little closer.
Gently, he placed his hands on her shoulders, and her cheeks immediately flushed from the warmth. She looked away, feeling her pulse quicken. The intensity of the moment was palpable.
Sebastian: "These eyes are too beautiful to look away... I would rather they looked at me than at nothing."
His voice was soft but filled with a strong desire, as he gently placed his finger on her chin and turned her face to look into his eyes. The eye contact was strong and filled with tension. Aurelia could feel her heart beating fast, and Sebastian's lips were dangerously close to hers.
Aurelia closed her eyes, ready to feel his lips on hers. However, before they could do so, an angry voice rang out from the darkness:
William: "Take your hands off her!!!"
Aurelia was startled, and before they could do anything, William charged forward and thrust his scythe into Sebastian's left shoulder. With a swift movement, he grabbed Aurelia and pulled her away from the demon.
Aurelia: "Dad!!!"
William: "That was close!... A little more, and I would have lost you!"
He said with anxiety and anger, his eyes growing fierce. "What are you doing here with him? Have you lost your mind?"
William's voice echoed with intensity, filled with concern for his daughter and anger towards Sebastian, who was too close to Aurelia. His heart raced, as he feared he would lose her forever if he didn't reach her in time.
Aurelia: "We didn't do anything! Why did you do that?"
She said with exasperation and worry, glaring at William, trying to calm the situation down.
Sebastian placed his right hand on his left shoulder, making a gesture to show he didn't feel threatened by the current situation at all. His face remained cold, with a touch of irony.
Sebastian: "I must admit, I'm always surprised by your entrances, my dear William. What happened to your manners?"
He said in a calm voice, almost laughing inwardly, watching William's reaction.
William: "Cut the sarcasm, demon!"
He responded irritably and angrily.
William: "I know exactly what you're trying to do, and I won't allow it!"
His gaze grew darker, and the tension in the air was almost unbearable.
William: "If you dare touch her again, next time I'll bury you under the earth..."
William's threat was clear and relentless. His eyes flashed with anger, and his body was tense, ready to strike if necessary. Aurelia felt a wave of intense fear and anxiety, but also a faint sense of joy that William was protecting her so fiercely.
Sebastian smiled slyly at William's reaction. He found it quite amusing that William was reacting this way because of the young Aurelia. William's anger was evident, and the way he expressed it showed just how protective he was of her. However, Sebastian didn't feel any threat. For him, the situation was merely an entertaining challenge.
Without a second thought, William grabbed Aurelia, and within minutes, they were back home, but William was far from satisfied with the situation.
William: "I can't believe this... I refuse to believe it..."
He said, his voice full of frustration, while his gaze had hardened.
William: "I came at the last moment... How could you do this? Why not with Ronald? Why not with Adrian? I'd prefer them over this monster!"
Aurelia: "Dad, calm down! We didn't do anything!"
She said, trying to calm William down, but the anxiety of the situation was overwhelming her.
William: "Yes, because I stopped it!"
He said, furious, his face reddened with tension.
William: "What have I taught you, Aurelia? Stay away from demons! They're trouble! They have no feelings! All he wants is your soul! Nothing more!"
Aurelia: "SHUT UP!!!"
She shouted, unable to bear her father's accusations any longer.
The tension was suffocating. William looked at her with disappointment and anger.
William: "Watch how you speak to me, young lady!"
William: "Well, that's it! You're staying locked inside until I decide that you can go outside... I'm not risking this..."
Aurelia: "What? You can't do that!"
Her voice was full of disappointment and anger.
William: "You won't leave this place until I say so!"
Aurelia turned her back on William, feeling the need to escape his oppressive presence. With steps heavier than ever, she headed to her room, trying to find some peace.
William: "Time to restore some order around here..."
He muttered angrily, his shadow filled with dark thoughts as Aurelia walked away.
