Chapter 26 - The New Arrival

Luo Shu was baffled by the researcher's outburst.

What did I even do to deserve that?

But seeing the strange behavior of the male staff, he guessed it had something to do with the "new SCP."

Women seemed annoyed, while men were agitated—like a household during a chaotic move.

This wasn't a containment breach.

It was a relocation.

But what kind of SCP would cause such a gendered reaction?

No one would tell him.

So he slipped into the restroom and activated SCP-055's anti-meme ability, becoming invisible to perception.

Now, he could investigate freely.

In the central garden, he spotted a new female security officer pushing an electric forklift stacked with boxes labeled:

"Clothing"

"Personal Items"

"Organic Food"

Definitely a humanoid SCP.

But why "organic food"?

Did Site-19's cafeteria offend it?

The officer had elevator access—a rarity in Site-19, where stairs were the norm to prevent breaches.

Luo Shu followed her inside.

Then—

"Warning: Declared weight 462kg. Actual weight 533kg. Elevator disabled per Protocol 4."

Weight sensors?!

The officer rechecked her cargo, oblivious to Luo Shu's 71kg presence.

Defeated, he exited and took the stairs to B4.

By the time he arrived, the officer was unloading boxes near a newly constructed hallway marked with a "C."

A crowd of male staff loitered outside, peering in but too wary to enter.

Luo Shu hesitated.

Should I go in?

But since women moved freely inside, he assumed it was safe enough.

He followed the officer to a yellow line at the corridor's end.

Beyond it, female researchers in hazmat suits unloaded the boxes into a unique containment unit.

No concrete walls. No steel doors.

Just stacked stone and wooden planks—like a primitive hut in a modern facility.

Through the open door, Luo Shu glimpsed a blonde girl wrapped in a towel, speaking to a researcher.

"When will my father visit?"

"Not soon. The O5s are questioning him… about your last meeting."

"Was it because of me?"

"Partly. He also abused his authority—to improve your living conditions."

"Then why move me to Site-19? Was Site-17 unsafe?"

"Your… appeal caused disruptions. We hope Site-19 will be calmer."

Luo Shu's breath caught.

I know who she is.

She's finally been transferred here.

But which version?

In his original world, her file had been rewritten in October 2020—completely altering her lore and abilities.

Now, she seemed like a fusion of both versions:

The appearance of the original, with traits of the rewrite.

SCP-166.

Teenage Succubus.

Daughter of Dr. Clef.
