Chapter 242 - The Aedis Plan

After taking control of the supercomputer "Leukocyte," Luoshu downloaded all of Site-CN-06's anomaly documentation, planning to study the optimal strategy for efficiently logging entries into the Anomaly Archive in the future.

By then, his Unobservable State was nearly depleted. He swiftly exited the underground facility and returned to his apartment.

Back in his studio, he eagerly opened his phone to review the data provided by "Leukocyte."

His focus wasn't on any particular anomaly—it was on Site-CN-06's parallel universe research project: the Aedis Plan!

The Aedis Plan was overseen by the Aedis Plan Committee, which sought to connect the multiverse by constructing Aedis Spaces like SCP-CN-146.

Originally just a small working group within Site-CN-06, the committee rapidly expanded into a major Foundation entity, operating in parallel with the site but answering directly to the China Branch.

The security clearance for the Aedis Plan was extremely high—even the Site Director of Site-CN-06 lacked access.

Some documents were Level-5 classified, viewable only by the O5 Council.

But for Luoshu, anything stored in "Leukocyte" was fair game.

His AI disciple had decrypted all files before transferring them to his phone.

If his phone were lost now, the leaked documents would cause an uproar.

(Though to anyone unaware of the Foundation, they'd just seem like bad sci-fi fanfiction, written by someone with terminal chuunibyou and paranoia.)

Before diving into the files, Luoshu used W-Class Mnestic Enhancers to scour his own memories for related Foundation records.

In his original memories, the Aedis Plan consisted of 7 key anomalies:

SCP-CN-145 – "Hometown"

SCP-CN-146 – "Parallel Universe Storm"

SCP-CN-351 – "Fortune-Granting Cat"

SCP-CN-604 – "The Frame-Dropped Man"

SCP-CN-1361 – "Counterpart Twins / Please, The Other Me"

SCP-CN-1906 – "Site-CN-06-EX"

SCP-CN-2000 – "Chaos Theory"

Of these, five (excluding SCP-CN-1361 and SCP-CN-2000) were contained at Site-CN-06.

But their canonical descriptions contradicted each other, suggesting they didn't exist in the same universe—instead belonging to different parallel realities.

For example, SCP-CN-145 and SCP-CN-146 couldn't coexist—otherwise, the Aedis Plan's progress would be completely derailed.

By cross-referencing "Leukocyte's" Aedis Plan files, Luoshu hoped to confirm which parallel universe he was currently in.

He first searched for SCP-CN-2000 – "Chaos Theory."

This was the anomaly he cared about most—it directly tied into the origins and purpose of the Chaos Insurgency!

If it existed here, then the Insurgency and the Foundation were secretly allied, staging their "war" to prevent an inevitable human extinction event.

The search result: "No matches found."

Luoshu exhaled in relief.

No SCP-CN-2000 meant the Insurgency and Foundation were genuinely enemies. Their attempts to recruit him held some credibility.

If SCP-CN-2000 had existed, it would mean everything he'd experienced was scripted—the "Revealer of Truth" title, the Insurgency's overtures—all an elaborate act.

That would've been a blow to his pride…

With SCP-CN-2000 ruled out, Luoshu didn't bother reading further.

The downloaded files were far too extensive to digest in one sitting. Better to get some rest.

A Hermit's Pursuit

The next morning, after ordering takeout, Luoshu continued holed up in his apartment, studying the Aedis Plan.

It wasn't that he was a shut-in—he'd just been imprisoned as a D-class for too long, making him unaccustomed to socializing or leisure activities.

Besides, normal society held no appeal for him.

What did ordinary people chase?

Money, sex, and power.

Money? He had plenty. SCP-100-1's Swiss account kept growing daily. The Insurgency had even given him an unlimited Amex Centurion Card.

Sex? After encountering the alluring SCP-166 (Just a Teenage Gorgon), even the most beautiful Hollywood starlet seemed dull in comparison.

Power? In a world ruled by the Foundation, what was the point of mundane authority?

The anomalies logged in the Anomaly Archive were the real power.

Luoshu's only goal and passion now was uncovering the truth—no matter how horrifying it might be.

Searching for Answers

He began by searching for SCP-CN-145 – "Hometown," a sub-project of the Aedis Plan delving into parallel universe exploration.

Result: "No matches found."

This suggested his current universe's research into parallel worlds was still in its infancy.

Next, he tried SCP-CN-1906 – "Site-CN-06-EX," the abandoned original site of CN-06, now an anomalous space due to an Aedis Plan experiment gone wrong.

Again, nothing.

No SCP-CN-145. No SCP-CN-1906.

So what did this world have?

Luoshu leaned back, staring at the ceiling.

The answer lay in the files—but for now, he needed more time, more exploration.

Site-CN-06 held secrets.

And he would unearth every last one.
