Aunt Mary's gaze fell on the black shopping bag before she took it and placed it on top the old wardrobe. After placing the bag on top of the wardrobe, she was about to sit on the couch and call her husband when her husband Mr Griffin walked in covered in dirts and muds.
Aunt Mary eyes widened.
Dear, what happened to you? She asked shocked and worried.
Nothing, it's nothing to worry about. He said brushing off the sticky dirt on his t-shirt collar.
By the way, where is Hannah? He asked changing the topic.
She is in the kitchen eating. I have already spoken to her about the wedding and made sure she doesn't call off this wedding. Aunt Mary said calmly.
Good. Cause if she calls off the wedding, we won't be able to pay our bills. He said tiredly.
Hmm. She hummed and went to the kitchen to see Hannah leaving her husband in the parlor. The moment she left, Mr Griffin brought out a brown envelope and brought out a crumpled letter.
While he was working on the farm where he watering the plants for his boss, he had come across this letter and quickly took it the moment he saw the Griffins.
He quickly opened the letter to read what was written in it, but to his dismay, it was just a blank paper. Then why will someone just write their name If they had nothing to say or do. He quickly put the letter in the envelope and kept it back in his pocket and went to the room to freshen up.
Inside the kitchen,
Hannah who was calmly eating a bowl of food turned to look at her aunt.
Aunt, do you need anything? She asked dropping the bowl on the table.
No dear, I just came to admire your pretty face one more time because I know by this time tomorrow, you won't be here anymore. She will be a wife to a famous billionaire. Her aunt said her voice cracked.
Hannah stood up and went to hug her aunt.
It's okay aunt, I can always tell him that I want to visit you. Hannah reasoned calmly.
No dear, there is no need to stress yourself to come see us. Her aunt quickly objected.
Just do your part and bring money for us so we can pay for the treatment of your cousin. Her aunt said calmly.
Alright then. Can I go and visit Elizabeth at the hospital? Hannah asked.
I don't think so. All you need to do is focus on your wedding tomorrow. I will take care of everything over here. Her aunt said and Hannah nodded. Alright, let me leave you to continue eating. Her aunt said and left the room without waiting for Hannah to talk.
Once she was gone, Hannah continue eating her food peacefully. While she was eating, she thought about her life - what will happen to her now once she becomes the wife of a billionaire CEO she knows nothing about. She shook her head to discard every thought and concentrated on her food. It's best to leave the future unknown without stressing the brain out. She thought calmly. After having her lunch, she went to her room to take a nap.

In a huge organization named Sutherland enterprise of about ten storey building.
Employees could be seen working hardly while making sure not offend their cold blooded boss. Even though, this wasn't his first time killing one of his employees - but they needed to be careful so as not to see his wrath.
On the tenth floor in a huge office that could contain Alot of people more than a hundred though, a man was sitting on his swivel chair ,his black cold eyes were fixed on the papers he was staring at. He was going to get married to a low life girl tomorrow. He couldn't believe this himself. He smirked while scrolling through the papers. He grabbed a pen from his table and signed the papers. He was supposed to be travel to Dubai for some work, but he had to cancel it. If he should send his PA, he doubt if his PA will finish the work within a day and bring back results.
He took a deep sigh before closing the paper he was signing and stood up l, grabbing his jacket and left the office. The moment he reached the ground floor before his eyes fell on a man wearing white glasses.
He had a big mole on his under left eye.
John! He called with a cold tone.
Yes boss. John quicky left what he was doing and rushed to where his boss is.
Logan Emerson was a cold blooded CEO. He hates when he calls someone once and the person takes time to answer, that rile him up a lot and he ends up killing the person to make others learn.
"Go to my office, I signed some papers, make sure to send it the Emerson company." He ordered.
Yes boss. John said head still bow.
Good. Logan said In a cold tone. And one more thing, make sure to tell the secretary of the Emerson enterprise that I will be taking over the company in two months.
Yes boss. John said bowing his head.
You may leave. He dismissed the man and John bowed once more before leaving.
Logan left his organization and went straight to his car and entered the back seat while the chaffuer drove off in max speed.
The sky was turning dark orange as the sun was slowly leaving the horizon and the darkness slowly taking over the clouds.
Evelyn had just woken up from he rling nao. Her black hair was messy and blue eyes looked tensed.
She sat up on the bed her heart raced tremendously.
How could she have slept when she is supposed to go and check on Eliy, even though her aunt had told her not to worry, she still wanted to see her, even if it's just once. Once won't hurt. She thought.
She got down from her bed and took the old looking comb to brush her hair. After brushing her hair, she left the room to prepare to go and see Elizabeth but was welcomed by her aunt and uncle sitting in the parlor having a conversation.
Good evening uncle. She greeted with a smile.
Evening dear, how are you doing? He asked.
I'm doing good thanks. She smiled calmly. Her plan to see Elizabeth will have to wait till after her wedding, maybe she will ask her new husband if he will allow her to visit her family time to time and also Elizabeth.
Were you planning on going out? Aunt Mary asked.
Uhm yes. I just wanted to see Elizabeth. Hannah said honestly.
Oh dear, you shouldn't bother. I already told you not to. Just do your part and bring us money. Her aunt said with a smile.
Alright then I will just go to sleep and wake up early tomorrow morning to prepare for my wedding. Hannah said.
Alright dear, sleep tight. Her uncle said and Hannah nodded before going back to the room to sleep.
Who knows how tomorrow will be and the plans it has for her.
