"I'm here to make sure all the dirt's are cleaned before I take over " Manon said as her eyes scanned the entire room to see the look on all the shareholder's face and she was enjoying every bit of it..
"I already know how you got into the board of directors," Manon said as her finger stopped at a shareholder's face and he instantly got more tensed and relaxed a bit after weighing the pro and cons that she is just a little girl and she can't do anything
But her next words made him think twice ..
"You have two options , the first one is leave on your own and the second option is throw you out "Manon said to him without batting an eyelid seeing that he was not able to make a decision..
Manon made a phone call
" someone her will be needing your assistance to leave the company "Manon said over the phone
The shareholder stated trembling he knew quite well how he was appointed as a member of the shareholder..
He finally managed to get his voice and spoke up hoping for others to back him up
"What right do you have to throw me out ?
"The company is no longer under your filthy mother's han...
"Smack--"
Before could finish his sentence a slap was landed on his check without a care in the world..
"One more word about my mother and you will be spending your entire life behind bars" Manon said after leaving a hard slap on his cheek leaving the shareholder in shock..
Manon was quick to clean her hand with a hand sanitizer..
Before she could continue her speech the whole conference room got into a Chaos because of the slap..
In less than ten minutes, the police were already inside the office and Manon was taken to the police station
Louis was on a conference meeting when the guard he secretly assigned to Manon sent him a message that she was taken to the police station..
"Meeting adjourned" Louis said as he walked out of the conference room leaving all the shareholder's in shock..
"Who did she slap? Louis asked all the shareholder's present when he got to the station, the shareholder was quick to step forward because he was expecting Louis to punish Manon and compensate him but his thought was the opposite..
" smack..
"Smack..
Two good slap was landed on both of his cheeks the moment he steeped forward..
" I slapped him now, you can take me into custody"Louis said to the police but none of them could shake out of fear ..
They weren't told twice before they released Manon and got the shareholder into custody.
The rest of the shareholder's were quick to grab the message that Louis was protecting Manon which means, you can't mess with her anymore
After getting into the car outside of the , Manon finally looked at Louis and said, "Mr.
Lincoln, thank you for helped today although I would have loved to handle it myself ." Manon said
" I told you no one can bully you while I'm here , I'm just keeping to my words "Louis said Manon just nodded her head and looked out of the window
They drove to the mansion..
Manon was glad they did not have to move to the old man's mansion today cause she needed to plan for tomorrow, all those shareholder has ended u spoiling her day if they think she will let them have their way then they must be up for another game..
After taking her shower , she brought out her computer to check the project she has been working on ..
She knew getting back into the company will be hard, she needs to earn the shareholder's trust so that she can be able to get the CEO position..
"What re you doing? Louis asked as he stood behind , he has been there for a while but because she is so concentrated on what she was doing she did not notice his presence..
" how long have you been there ? Manon asked as she closed her laptop..
"Long enough to have read your project plan" Louis said as he buttoned up his shirt , that was the view Manon saw as she turned around but she got herself together real quick..
"Didn't your grandfather teach you that snooping around is wrong? Manon asked as she climbed the bed..
" he did but he also made me understand that does not matter when the person in question is your wife 'louis said..
"Just mind your business" Manon said annoyed ..
"Let me help you" Louis suggested but Manon was quick to reject it.
"You have helped me enough and I do not need that right now" Manon said..
"They will not consider your project , if you do not bring investor and you currently don't have money to invest on it "Louis said trying to convince her ..
He has discovered that convincing this his little wife is quite harder than he thought..
Thinking about what he has said Manon had to agree , she needs something to invest on it .. she has not been into he world before who Will risk his money for a project they do not even know whether it will excel or not..
"Are not afraid of loss if the project fails?
" I have money that I can spare now , if the project fails , then it's fine and if it excel then it's my win , plus I know that it will excel "Louis said and Manon's nodded..
" then you are coming with me to the company tomorrow "Manon said as she slept off .
