The Genesis of Naraka

In the ages before time was fully reckoned, when the universe lay yet as a blank canvas awaiting the divine touch, the Creator, whose majesty is beyond mortal ken and whose being defies description, brought forth Naraka.

Not from the fires of wrath, nor the solitude of endless space, but from a pure desire to fashion beauty and weave harmony into the fabric of existence.

Naraka, as it is chronicled in the Book of the Genesis of the Sun Tree, a tome held within Alden, the royal city of the Jindara Kingdom, is likened unto a ripe fruit, ready for the plucking and habitation of souls, a jewel amongst the myriad stars scattered across the vastness of the cosmos.

The Creator, with hands puissant yet full of compassion, shaped the first eight spirits from the very dust of the cosmos and the light of distant stars. Akh, the eldest of these, was born as the embodiment of Will, a force that coursed through every vein of Naraka, the very pulse that gave life to all creation.

The four siblings who followed, Wetan, Boreas, Minami, and Al Gharb, were appointed to stand guard at the four corners of the world, becoming the mighty pillars that upheld Naraka's cosmic balance. They were the first wardens, entrusted with dominion to maintain the concord of this newborn realm.

Yet, the Creator perceived that a certain note was wanting in the symphony of His making. Thus, He fashioned Laila and Yom, twins who divided the flow of time into the realms of day and night, sun and moon, two facets of an indivisible cosmic coin.

Laila, with her golden radiance, embodied life and growth, whilst Yom, with his soft silvern light, represented mystery and the balm of peace. With their coming, Naraka was made complete, a harmony of light and shadow, life and death, an eternal dance reflecting the great cycles of the cosmos.

"Behold," spoke the Creator to His children, His voice echoing throughout the nascent world of Naraka, "I have given unto you a perfect dwelling, and ye shall be the rulers over all that lies within it. Guard this realm with wisdom, and let My will be done through your hands."

Alas, even as a sweet fruit oft draws the attention of destructive worms, so did arrogance and the lust for dominion creep into the heart of Akh.

He, who was meant to be the very embodiment of divine will, poisoned Naraka with his dark ambition, beguiling Laila and Yom to bring forth the Grand Aeon, false deities who hungered for worship and unbridled power.

The deeds of Akh rent the very fabric of Naraka, transforming a pristine paradise into a netherworld filled with chaos and unending suffering.

Tulah, shards of Akh's sundered soul unleashed in the ensuing chaos, spread like a venomous blight, corrupting the very order of the world and the spirits of the Grand Aeon. This ruinous force threatened to consume all that the Creator had so painstakingly wrought.

The Creator, His divine heart grieved to see His fair creation stained by the folly of misguided free will, punished Akh by casting him into the prison of Asvethama Seddam, a timeless void situated at the very edge of reality, where he would ponder his transgressions for all eternity.

Laila and Yom, who had become unwitting instruments in Naraka's downfall, were cursed to forever circle the world as the sun and the moon, bearing witness to the bitter fruits of their actions.

Naraka, bereft of the direct guidance of the Creator, began to wither, plagued by an unending strife between the forces of light and shadow. Yet, the Creator, in His boundless wisdom, did not abandon His world to utter despair.

He brought forth Jagannath, the master of the ebb and flow of time, who was tasked with maintaining Naraka's delicate balance and ensuring that the river of time continued its course, offering ever the promise of redemption and the flicker of hope.

And thus is the tale of Naraka, from a paradise fashioned with love and hope, to a battleground where free will clashes with destiny, and light contends with darkness.

A saga that shall echo throughout the cosmos until the very end of days, reminding all beings of the power of creation and the dire consequences of their choices.
