Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Dark Rebirth

1. Escaping the Past

The night shrouded the city, and Bang walked alone on the streets, feeling the evening breeze brush against his face. His heart was like dead water, but his steps were firm.

He had no destination, nor did he need one.

He knew that home no longer belonged to him, and his life no longer belonged to his past self.

He needed to find a new direction, a reason to live.

A reason to make this world feel fear.

2. The Initial Target

Bang entered a small hotel and used his remaining money to rent the cheapest room. The room only had a single bed and a worn-out table, and the peeling paint on the walls spoke of its age.

He sat at the table, lit a cigarette, and looked out at the night.

Corrupt officials, unscrupulous merchants, gangsters, evil police, rapists, child abusers, murderers... these people lived freely, even better than anyone else.

Why?

Bang closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

If the world was unwilling to change for the better, then he would make it change.

Starting tonight, he would rewrite the rules of this world with his own hands.

3. The First Prey

Bang opened his phone, browsing social news.

Soon, a message caught his attention—

"A well-known local businessman is suspected of sexually assaulting a minor but was acquitted due to insufficient evidence."

Bang stared at the photo on the screen. The man in the photo looked arrogant, with a disdainful smile on his lips.

This world was already sick.

He found the man's company address and discovered that he went to a high-end club every Wednesday night.

And today was Wednesday.

The corners of Bang's mouth turned up slightly, the first time he had smiled in days.

He had found his target.

4. The Hunter of the Dead

At 1 AM, outside the club, luxurious neon lights flickered, and guests in elegant attire mingled.

Bang, dressed in black, stood quietly on the street corner, observing everything.

Soon, the businessman staggered out of the club, surrounded by several young girls, laughing and playing.

His driver opened the car door, ready to escort him away.

Bang's eyes turned cold.

He acted.
