The fight has just started immensely, no one will let the other bury him after all. A fight between life and death.
Parmas VS Spiren.
Turns out that the name of the injured warrior who held the katana was Spiren. He then let off the handle by his left hand and held it with only his injured arm, pointing the whole sword at Parmas, the dark assassin.
"Your vision has improved as well, Scum Parmas."
Parmas, while smiling mockingly, was spinning his dagger around his fingers, indicating his high mastery of wielding such a dangerous weapon as daggers. Spiren, on the other hand, was a sword master.
Then both warriors started to walk in a circle around the small area around the wooden house, facing each other with death stares. With Parmas adding a killer smile, of course.
Spiren rested his injured arm and let it hover in the air, loosening any pressure on it except for holding his katana and kept staring at Parmas.
Until, both of their figures disappeared into a blur and appeared again with a steel clangor in the middle.
In fact, the katana was much longer and more resilient than any dagger, giving Spiren a chance against his opponent, but Parmas was an assassin. He knew very well how to deflect dodge or break any other weapon, especially the katana.
They kept attacking, slashing each other, deflecting each others' blows. Their fight became fierce enough to make the white pristine rocks they were standing on to shudder.
"YOU WILL NEVER WIN, PARMAS!!" With a shout-out from Spiren, he raised his katana facing the sky.
"In the enormous scared waterfalls, I shall stand in between... As a Victor!" Spiren said with killing intent in his eyes.
"Spiren technique, one sword style: [Arch Slash!]" His katana that was facing the sky dropped on Parmas, slashing him in the form of an arch.
The purpose of this specific slash is to cut into the opponent's flesh, damaging two vital organs in his body, The heart and the two lungs all together.
"You... I take my word back. You haven't improved at all." With a swift motion of his dagger, Parmas deflected his unique slash and instantly dashed behind, but he stopped and didn't do anything. Parmas just stood behind Spiren after dashing, But why?
"Looks like I will be the one to bury. Hehehehehehe." Parmas laughed as a maniac mocking and looking at Spiren with pity.
"Khaaahaaaa." Spiren mouth burst into spilling blood. Spiren stood in between the gigantic waterfalls and didn't realize that his mouth had become akin.
A diagonal slash landed on him the second Parmas had dashed beside him. Flows of blood scattered everywhere, painting his own body and his surroundings.
Spiren couldn't hold himself and fell to the ground.
Parmas kept laughing, laughing because his attempt had failed and he crushed him with only a dagger. He didn't get to even use the other one!
"Stop playing with me already and get up, Sacred Slayer."
Spiren's eyes blacked out, his muscles tensed, and... blood stopped flowing?
His right hand was resting silently on the white pristine rocks. Suddenly, his fingers twitched and a type of white-colored aura emanated from them, crushing the white rocks around.
As his aura kept rising higher and higher, coursing through his whole body starting from his fingers, Spiren was about to come back on his knees... Invincible!
The white aura reached his injured shoulder and started healing it along with the latest injury caused by Parmas's swift slash of his dagger. Slowly, his injuries began to heal bit by bit. Spiren is back!
With all of that power he channeled in his body, he used his right hand to push the ground. He was ascending from the ground in a way that tells anyone that Spiren was a monster.
"Hehe, finish that quick, Slayer." Parmas said, looking at his hand's back as if he were wearing a watch or something.
Silent: "Lol!"
On the other hand, his hand left the white pristine rocks and hovered above it. The Scared Slayer has got on his feet.
"Let's have some fun, Mantis!"
The mantis looked at him with surprise shaping his face. Parmas as an assassin was known only for his title to kill and murder without being noticed. Spiren was the only one who noticed.
"So... That's why you made yourself a fool, running from me. What else do you know about me?"
By the time Parmas said that, Spiren was straitening his spine, looking at his right arm that was injured, and charged more of his power into it. His right arm shined with incandescence.
Spiren raised his charged incandescent arm to the side, bending it at the elbow, roughly at a right angle. His forearm was lifted upward, taking the shape of a claw.
Parmas watched in silence as he knew him very well. The man standing in front of him is one of the most powerful slayers in his town. One of the highest kill records in his town, the Scared Slayer, Spiren!
"I didn't make a fool of myself just to hide my identity. As for answering your question... well, I know everything about you, Mantis." Parmas stood in silence, his eyes fell in gloom but not from sadness, it was out of disdain.
"So it's like that. Looks like your kill record will be broken soon... and I will be the cause."
Parmas had enough and he too started showing his power. The dark green aura... The mantis aura!
Pulling the other dagger from its pommel, he held it with his left hand. As the dagger was showing its thin blade, his powerful aura emerged with it and found its way to the whole dagger along with the other one.
Parmas eyes changed into a dark green hue, closing it so much out of hatred towards Spiren.
Spiren picked up the fallen katana. Once his incandescent arm touched the sword, the power channeled through it at immense speed.
Spiren, with some swift motion, played with his sword, rotating it so many times around his body until he stood still with the katana on his right side of his body.
Parmas held one dagger from the front of his fist and the other with the back of his other hand's fist. Crouching a bit, the Mantis stared at the Sacred Slayer with killing intent and Spiren was the same.
The real fight is about to start!
