The way the story progressed from there was rather nerve-wracking.
That night, after Ki-hoon took Jo-Pil home, he forced himself on him.
It was unreasonable, honestly. Jo-Pil was still weak and malnourished after leaving the dark room he had spent more than a week in. He could've at least waited till he was strong enough before asking him for sex.
Jo-Pil could break at any moment, but Ki-hoon seemed to be confident that Jo-Pil could take him completely without breaking whatsoever, and he had his fill.
Since he was the one who picked up Jo-Pil, the others did not have an objection and let him have the first bite.
That night was filled with Jo-Pil's barely audible screams because of how weak he was. His first time was taken so roughly and it hurt so much that even when weak, he couldn't help but struggle.
Readers sympathized with him and from then on, Ki-hoon had been out on the hate list. He was basically irredeemable from then on, especially when he did 'that' to Jo-Pil during a later scene.
What was his problem? We wondered quite a lot.
But we later got to know why Jo-Pil, in particular, hated Ki-hoon so much.
Well, that was none of my concern because the main thing I had to think of was how to survive the day without having my ass proved roughly by a brute.
Yeah, he was a brute.
The first part of survival was to be well-fed.
After finishing the load of things I had ordered, I patted my stomach and burped in satisfaction.
I don't know if it was because of the satisfaction of being fed to my fill but I completely forgot about my surroundings and floated in comfort.
Just as I thought, Ki-hoon wouldn't skin me alive just because I said I was hungry. They were going to make me their baby mama or so, so they could at least let me well-fed, right?
He was even generous to allow me to order whatever I wanted.
Jo-Pil was the fool who refused to eat after being taken to the house. Really, if I thought of it carefully, Jo-Pil had actually caused a lot of the bad things that happened to him with his stubbornness.
Though I'm not saying forcing him was the right punishment or whatever but he was too much.
He refused to eat, stayed quiet when they asked him questions and even went as far as calling them monsters. Well, they were monsters for doing all that to them but did he not know the concept called 'adaptation and endurance'?
If he knew that they had such hot tempers, the best thing to do would be to not get on their nerves, right?
His stubbornness made him unlikable and fun to toy with.
'Then, will I be able to avoid all of that if I act obedient? I certainly don't want to be a breeding mate for any reason.' I picked my teeth with a piece of bone, still forgetting the atmosphere around me. 'Maybe I can sweet talk them and we can live happily ever after, lol.' I laughed. 'I need to survive until I wake up. Even if this is a dream, I'm feeling everything pretty well so if I get hit, it'll surely hurt a lot.'
"Are you done?" I heard Ki-hoon's voice and snapped.
He was sitting across me all
'Ah, shit. I completely forgot.' I sat properly and smiled. "Yes, thank you for the meal."
Ki-hoon took one long look at the table filled with empty dishes cleared by me and me alone and then he grimaced, turning his gaze to me.
'I wonder what he's thinking.' I thought.
"Then, let's go." He said and got up.
I nodded and tried to get up, but it looked like I had overeaten. The food was so good and this body wouldn't get filled till everything was gone.
'Ah, this is embarrassing. I feel like I'm going to explode.' I thought and held the table. 'I hope I don't get constipated for this.'
"What are you waiting for?" Ki-hoon asked, and I flinched. His voice was deep and frightening all of a sudden. Did he notice I overate and was mad?
Come on, he couldn't blame me, right?
"Ah, it's nothing. You can just go ahead, I'll take my time." I said, feigning a smile.
"Hwang Jo-Pil," Ki-hoon called and grabbed my hand. "What are you plotting?"
I looked at his face. He looked angry.
Ah, right, Jo-Pil was not to be trusted, especially after their 'past'. But I wasn't this world's Jo-Pil so I had no need to trick him.
I wasn't as dumb as this world's Jo-Pil who didn't know when to give in and when to be obedient. His life would've been smooth sailing with all that he wanted if he just stayed still.
"What are you worried about?" I suddenly asked him, smiling as I lifted my hand to finally touch that amazing hair of his.
I could literally smell his amazing cologne, or was that his Pheromones? Whatever, I loved his scent and his hair definitely smelled nice too.
I just needed to pat him and assure him that I wouldn't run, right? It's not like I have anywhere to run to.
I just needed to bide my time till my body woke up in the real world.
"Do I look like I can run after overeating?" I laughed and barely touched the few strands of hair at the side, swiping it back.
Damn, my hand looked so thin. I had more flesh than this in my real body.
"I'm not going anywhere,"
Ki-hoon stared at me in shock. His expression asked so loudly, 'What did you say?'
Yeah, bet he didn't expect that. News flash: I'm not the real Jo-Pil, so I won't act like him either. The one who broke your trust before was not me.
Ki-hoon gritted his teeth, slapped my hand away, and grabbed my chin roughly.
"Ugh," I squinted my eyes.
He looked me dead in the eyes and said in a gruff voice,
"I don't know what you're playing at but your little tricks won't work on me this time." He let go of my chin and grabbed my hand. "Let's go."
Gosh, he was such a stubborn brute.
