Chapter 1 - Prologue

On a beautiful morning, Jin Yun woke up with the sunlight shining on his face. He got out of bed, yawning, still sleepy.

Standing up, he walked over to an old wardrobe and took a white robe, putting it on.

He then left the room he was in, a small residence located in the outer courtyard of the sect. There were many houses like that in the area.

Looking up, Jin Yun saw the rising sun beginning to illuminate the blue sky.

A gentle breeze blew against his face, lifting his black hair, which danced in the air.

Enjoying the sensation, he took a deep breath through his nostrils, inhaling the fresh morning air.

"Time to start the day," he murmured to himself. His red eyes glowed with determination.

Resolved, he headed towards the Pavilion of the Five Secret Realms to begin his training.

...

Half an hour later, still early in the morning, Jin Yun arrived at the main area of the outer courtyard.

Before him stood a massive five-story yellow building.

The place was almost empty. Only a few people, like him, had started training so early.

Most disciples only left their residences around eight in the morning.

Jin Yun, being a special case, approached the entrance of the building and gently pushed the closed door, trying not to make any noise.

Before him, a deserted hall was revealed, where only an old man slept on a table.

There was a staircase leading to the next floor, and in the corner, a whirlpool shimmered with blue energy, representing the water element.

People with spiritual roots of this type or related transmutation practiced there.

Jin Yun possessed the Metal Sword Root of Low Level, a metal-type transmutation.

In his world, where everyone could cultivate spiritual energy, roots were evaluated by their density.

The brighter they were, the faster the cultivation speed.

Jin Yun's root, however, barely shone, appearing as just an ordinary sword.

His absorption cultivation was extremely slow, almost making him give up on this path and embark on the dangerous art of refinement.

He used his simple sword to fuse materials related to the metal element, turning it into a living weapon.

Each cultivation session was a struggle between life and death.

But, by overcoming each challenge, he became stronger!

Within the sect, he stood out among all those who entered with him, even though they had superior talents.

This situation increased his reputation, spreading a unique title among the disciples:

"The Mad Undead."

...

Carefully climbing the stairs, he made his way to the fifth floor.

The second floor was the Fire Type, the third was the Earth Type, and the fourth was the Air Type.

And the fifth, where he finally arrived after ten minutes, was the metal one.

Jin Yun sighed as he arrived. Another battle was about to begin, but his eyes showed no hesitation.

"No matter how difficult it is! No matter how much pain I will feel! Only the final result matters! This is my fight to pursue immortality."

With those words, he clenched his fists and stared ahead like a wild beast, facing the large black sphere with the eyes of a predator ready to hunt.

Walking furiously, he quickly approached the portal.

As he passed through it, he felt his body surrounded by a wave of mysterious energy; the next second, he was sucked into it.

...

A few minutes later, in a place filled with metal objects, Jin Yun appeared on the ground.

Without wasting time, he headed straight for the seventh area, where several scraps were scattered.

Walking on the rough, black, and very hard ground, he glanced around from time to time. To his right, there were trees made of iron, silver in color, and to his left, a river blacker than ink.

No matter how many times he saw this, Jin Yun was always curious. "How did the First Ancestor create these secret realms?"

He had doubts, but the only answer he received was strength!

The first master and creator of the Five Elements Sect was a cultivator of the Tribulation Realm who overcame nine calamities.

Before facing the last one, he created three secret realms.

The first, where Jia Yun is now.

The second, in the Inner Courtyard.

And the third, in the Main Courtyard. Where, unlike the others, it is a separate realm, and each entrance is stationed at one of the five peaks, representing their respective elements.

Jin Yun's goal, for now, besides becoming stronger, was to enter the Metal Peak!

According to rumors, in the true metal secret realm, there is a vein of purple gold, a crucial material for his refinement path.

"But all of this... what if I can't survive until then? I could fall at any moment." He thought, aware of himself.

His confidence was not blind enough to believe he would always be lucky enough to survive.

He wouldn't accept his death and would do everything to live!

But even the most determined have moments when they end up dead.

"The only choice I have is to keep going, never stopping for a second, never taking a step back, doing everything to break through! Overcome the limits! My life is something only I can control. To achieve my wish of immortality, I will do anything!"

Thinking about all this, Jin Yun felt that he no longer had any shackles.

Moving harmoniously, he continued towards the seventh area.

Behind him, in the black sky, a figure watched him.

It was a beautiful woman with black hair as dark as the deepest night, and lovely purple eyes that seemed to see everything.

At that moment, on her beautiful face, an expression of appreciation appeared. "This boy from the Outer Courtyard is really interesting. Even in the main peaks, it's hard to find someone with this mindset. Now I understand why Sister Sun devoted herself so much to get close to him."

The woman had a good impression of Jin Yun, and the next second, she began to follow him, flying through the skies.

Jin Yun, who had no idea he was being followed, reached the seventh area. In front of him appeared a pile of things, as if all the metal in the world had been thrown there!
