Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Xievian was alerted by the system that his views managed to reach 100k views and his Life Points increased.

10 Life Points, here I come.

He redeemed one ghost talisman for 10 Life Points and two protection talismans for 4 Life Points.

He readied himself. He put the square outline into the groove; the door opened.

The moment the door opened, Xievian was greeted by a woman. She opened her mouth, and it ripped open. The moment Xievian saw flesh, he knew that it was a corpse, so it was useless to use a talisman on her. He immediately smashed the axe on the corpse's head.

This corpse was tougher than the others. She staggered a bit but attacked once she managed to regain her footing, trying to bite Xievian once more.

Different from the ordinary corpse, Xievian felt hunger when he saw her.

But still, Xievian held himself back. He could really not get past the hurdle of cannibalism. With the strange transformation happening within him, he wanted to retain his humanity. He wanted to die as a human and live as a human. This corpse in front of him fell into his category of human.

He searched for any indication of weakness like the corpse that he met before. He couldn't find anything.

Looking at the woman's mouth, he couldn't help but think. If he did transform, would he somewhat look like this?

A bit lost in thought, he half-defended, half-attacked the corpse while searching for weaknesses. The moment the axe ripped a piece of fabric on the corpse's chest, he saw the strange tumor-like circular marble under the corpse's skin. It was located on her left side. It reminded him of a heart.

He swung his axe with force. Just like the corpse that he met before, the moment he shattered the strange circular object under their skin, they fell down like puppets that lost their strings.

Now that it wasn't moving, Xievian was able to finally take a closer look at the corpse.

It wasn't rotten. It looked very preserved. If not for the fact that her skin color and stiffness resembled the dead, Xievian would have thought that she was just an ordinary woman.

Xievian felt his stamina draining. He scanned the room and noticed that it was different from the others. The room that he had opened before was jam-packed. As for this room, there was only one coffin. It wasn't buried underground; it was just sitting there on the pavement.

The coffin cover was open. Xievian saw a headstone at the foot of the woman's grave.

He could not see a date, but he saw a name.

Anne Silvia.

Next, he scanned the coffin for some clues. He wasn't actually expecting to find something, but he did. Under the dirty pillow was a piece of paper.

He angled the paper in front of the front camera. He read the content in a quiet voice.

[My name is Anne Silvia. I have five sisters. All of us were biological sisters, and we were adopted by Mommy and Daddy. I'm the third sister. The eldest was Emi, the second was Lily, the fourth was Ruby, and the youngest was Sally.

Mommy and Daddy loved Sally the most. I also love Sally; we all love Sally. She is a sweet little angel who can make your day bright.

Sadly, something happened to Sally. The sweet little Sally vanished. One day, she was replaced by an irritable and violent gremlin.

At first, we didn't know what was happening. Instead of being frustrated with Sally's temper, our adoptive parents adored her even more.

I hate that Sally. She was no longer the sweet little cotton-padded jacket. She would bite and scratch anyone who touched her.

Her behavior escalated as time passed by.

I swear, I could hear her talking in a deep, manly voiced. Laughing, talking, haunting us inside our shared room.

Mommy, Daddy, sisters, are you sure that was Sally?]

Sally? Sally sounded pretty young in this story.

Anne looked about 18 or 19 years old. She was the third, so there was a huge possibility that Sally was still underage.

What the grave keeper said was that the "woman willingly did it." The woman could not have been the young Sally.

Actually, it was possible the woman had nothing to do with the sisters, but this was the only clue that he had.

Chat:

Sisi: Silvia? That family name sounds familiar.

Cold7: Host, are these legit?

Indie: I know the Silvia family. They seem to own large corporations, right? They're most notably known for their jewelry line.

Animatronics: I'm not sure if this is true or not, but let's immerse ourselves in this. If it's true, the Silvia family from years ago is probably already dead, right?

Fraudbuster: Why do you think this is real? Something attacking you inside the mausoleum and stuff. This looks almost like a game.

Xievian pocketed the note. Actually, he was confused as to why there was a note. Because if he were the perpetrator, he'd probably erase all evidence of the past.

Looking at those skeptical viewers, he smiled. "Is it fake or not? Well, I'm not gonna answer, but let me ask you this: what's fake or what's not?" He didn't want to convince people of the existence of the other side. Only those people who were knowledgeable probably knew that what was happening inside this mausoleum was real.

**Chat:**

Koi Fish: What does he mean by what's real and what's not?

Lilith: I understand it a bit? Like, he probably got someone to act in this mausoleum, but it is impossible for them to comb this place and put things for the host to find. There's a possibility that the host might discover something as he explores the mausoleum.

Cold7: I searched for information on the Silvia family from 130 years ago. As usual, rich people hide their information, but there was one news leak that the family couldn't cover up no matter what. [Link]

Betty: The murder of Mr. and Mrs. Silvia?

Undie: Oh, the criminal wasn't caught? That's pretty rare after murdering a rich person.

Yuyu: I heard rumors that they were involved in a cult.
