Chapter 4 - reborned - chapter 4

"Welcome, human," In front of Thomas sat the same person he had seen first after being isekai, wearing the same clothes.

'This is for the torture you gave me dumbass,' Thomas thought with a smile, lifting his hand, "...Hi," Thomas replied, waving his hands.

Seconds after Outer shouted, the god vanished like dust, leaving Thomas alone in the room.

Thomas listens with narrowed eyes,

"What? Do you go around asking what is happening to every random unknown cosplayer when you meet them for the first time or something?" Thomas shouted back, his eyes wide, narrowed eyebrows.

"How would I know that I died? Dumb dick, have you ever written a single novel before?" Thomas, who was screaming, suddenly quieted down with a thought. Then said calmly, "Oh, I forgot, you haven't."

Thomas narrowed his eyes. "Do you die every time your head gets hit? How could someone think they died just from falling on the street? That sounds ridiculous."

The writer remains silent for a second, before replying, <...But... you did die though,> with a calm and composed tone,

His eyes returned to normal. "Well… that's just because… that's different"

"Well, that's just a coincidence…" Thomas mumbled before shouting, "Why are you interfering in my personal life, you bastard?"

"Cuz I'm not an actor, you bastard! You can't even do your job properly; stop telling me what I have to do," Thomas said, pointing his finger toward the air.

"... Well, your last kick was mesmerizing," Outer said calmly with a poker face.

Thomas gave the corner a sharp gaze; Outer was staring at Thomas with a straight face.

Thomas placed his hand on his chin, looking at the corner, diagonal to from where he could sense the Outer, his gaze narrowed. "How did I act back then? I forgot."

"Do you remember?" Thomas asked, his eyebrows slightly raised.

"Got it…" he said, nodding, then narrowed his eyes, "What does thinking outside of the box mean again?"

<..... I'm not even a native English speaker> Outer stayed silent for a moment before continuing.

"... Oh," raised eyebrows, "so it's pretty much like—don't think too much."

"Why do they make idioms? Seriously, that's just useless."

"Arghh, forget about it." He said, shaking his head.

"Just like how you forgot what you did two hours ago?" Outer asked, still with a poker face.

"... Yes, think like you've never heard that before. Like how you never ate a chicken dish before," Thomas replied with a gentle, warm, soft, bright smile.

Outer stared with a straight face.

Thomas kept looking with the warm, soft, gentle smile.

"Alright, let's jump into acting; imagine that fucker again," Thomas said as he turned his head to look at where the guy had been before evaporating.

Outer murmured before he started thinking.

"Okay." Thomas closes his eyes, everything darkened for a moment until a RAY of light, falls on his eyes, he opens his eyes, then covers them with hand, before slowly taking them off.

"Welcome, human." The same man.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Thomas said, and looked left and right.

"Well, unfortunately for you and fortunately for me, you died." He said with a smile.

Outer, who was watching everything from his thoughts, gave a smug smile.

"Go, hero, only you can save our world." God said, with open arms.

"Alright…" Thomas said as he kept nodding.

"Now, you just have to close your eyes, and you will be reborn as the son of a baron."

"Okay…"

"Go…" he widened his arms further.

"Don't you have to give me some sort of cheat skill? Golden finger?"

"Oh, yeah." His eyebrows slightly raised, "You can see clearly from the moment you open your eyes. Your brain will function like an adult man's. Although your muscles will be weak like any other child's, you can make them stronger through training and taking a lot of nutrition."

"That's good to hear, but anything else? A power that no one else possesses? A rare, unbelievable, legendary power that could make me the strongest?"

God stayed silent for a moment, before replying, "Have you seen kids going around creating businesses? Can you see toddlers running in the Olympics? And can you even imagine a two-year-old fighting against the government?"

Thomas remained silent, "You may not realize it, but this has the potential to make you the strongest."

This slightly widened his eyes then he silently grinned. "That's cool. Alright, god, see you soon," Thomas said and closed his eyes. His body turned into bright blue energy and flowed in a direction.

Thomas could feel his soul moving but couldn't see anything.

...

"It's a cute boy." He then suddenly heard a voice and then clapping sounds, then he felt a soft sensation below him, it took him a second to completely feel his body, it was as if he was curling up above a blanket.

He slightly opened his eyes and It took Thomas a few seconds to see the face of the person holding him.

It was a woman in her twenties with blue eyes, brown hair, and a bright smile.

'Her eyes… They're beautiful,' the unnamed kid thought, staring at the girl.

'Yeah. What's my eye color?'

'what? Why would you give the main character black eyes?' his expression couldn't change much, or maybe his face was too small to make any noticeable difference.

'You bastard? Give me blue eyes, give me or I will take it by force if I have to' He thought while moving both hands toward her eyes.

<...What?...>

'Eye switching. Give me her eyes, or I'll snatch them away myself,' Thomas thought, waving his hands toward the blue-eyed girl.

She, on the other hand, was charmed by the newborn's adorable actions, which surpassed anything she had seen before. "He is so cute," she said before giving the baby to his mother.

The mother held her child to her chest. Thomas slowly turned his head to look at his new mother—brown eyes, slightly red hair, fair skin, and a gentle smile on her gorgeous face.

Then the smile faded, and she looked at the nurse, "Why isn't he crying?"

As the words reached his ears, he remembered how nurses tortured children and laughed at them as they cried.

He did not want to go through that. He knew what he needed to do.

He cried.

He cried so hard that everyone became concerned.

"Oh, my baby, come on, let me give you food."

The moment he heard that, he wished he didn't have consciousness, he wished he haven't cried.

'Stop, stop, no! That's sexual abuse! Hey, bastards, can't you skip all this?' thought Thomas, tried to push himself away from his new mother.

"I can…" Outer replied in a slow, low voice.

Thomas sensed the monstrous presence from the past, as if a menace was staring at him.
