(FULL BOOK AVAILABLE IN AMAZON)The spring season is a cherished time for the people of Nelblinxton, a town renowned for its witchcraft and wizardry. Visitors flock here to explore its rich magical history, which is preserved in the town's many archives. However, the nearby west side graveyards, steeped in danger and mystery, intrigue many—though the guards who protect them are no good witches or wizards. No one dared to approach the ominous grounds or the river that runs beside it. The Northern Abby folk, far away from here but the closest town, come once every seven moons to learn new magic, as Nelblinxton restricts immigrants to just two days' stay. These strict rules are embraced by the locals, who believe they are healing from a past curse and wish to prevent its return.
Many witches have their sights set on "Graven Zortlus," a place said to hold the details of everyone's past lives and the lineage of powerful magic users. Treasures, wands, and mystical artifacts, mystical weapons were hidden there, but entry is strictly forbidden, protected by numerous spells. It was once the home of King Zortlus, now it's a deadly zone hidden treasure.
Excitement is never in short supply in Nelblinxton. Last spring, forbidden manuscripts were released after the west-side witches campaigned for their release, believing they could aid the town in the event of an attack. Mr. Dricanthus Berlinger Zortlus, the president of Graven Zortlus, organized a competition on the very grounds of a long-abandoned dangerous graveyard Dark Xilzgor, where many powerful witches and wizards were buried. Skepticism surrounded the event, and few dared to participate, fearing the location's dark history. Yet, when the blue moon came, Lalania Maril Trexxford faced off against restless souls, trapping them in a mirror-like object that had the whole town buzzing. The competition was thrilling, particularly among the west-side witches and wizards, but many remained wary, especially with the blue moon looming. She is the only one who entered Graven Zorthlus in her generation.
This spring, the townsfolk are abuzz with anticipation for the construction of a new castle, set to be completed by fall. With winter's chill finally receding, they can shed their heavy layers of clothing.
"I can't wait until fall! I want to know what's going to be inside, maybe our king?" Melarrlnia tilted her head, glancing at her friend Vivianna as they stood near the construction site.
"I can't say for sure, but I caught a glimpse inside. Herbert and I..." she looked around her and started whispering, "He took me to Pallescola, where there's a gigantic tree. I sat on his shoulders while he climbed, and we saw the most gorgeous arcitechture ever when they opened the door for send thrones in it. It took my breath away!"
"You could've used broom" she gave a little attitude to seem that she was jealous and giggled. "What's that beside the castle anyway?" Melarrlnia asked, intrigued.
"They're planning to build an elliptical amphitheater, I heard," a handsome young man interjected before Vivianna could respond.
"Oh!" Melarrlnia's eyes widened, and she forgot to hide her surprise.
"We know," Vivianna snapped, casting a frustrated look at him.
"I'm speaking to the young lady here," he replied smoothly, flashing a charming smile.
"So am I!" Vivianna's irritation was palpable.
"Hey, nice to meet you, Missy! If you're curious about the construction, I'd like to share," no one there actually knows about the construction, but he just wants a reason to talk.
"Ab..." Mel hesitated, unsure.
"We have to leave," Vivianna insisted, trying to pull Mel away.
"I want to know about that! Would you mind telling us, Mr...?" Mel pressed.
"Ferlin Brinilan," he replied, his smile growing wider.
"Melarrlnia Lauril Rose Nixon."
"Wow," he began, but the words caught in his throat.
"Vivian Stoknir Baranski," Vivian interrupted, clearly unimpressed.
"So, about the castle..." Mel tried to continue, but Ferlin cut her off.
"Yes, the castle! It will be the new ValroxLock for learning wizardry and witchcraft, and half of VallroxLock's work will be moved there."
"What? Are they shifting all the manuscripts and books?" Melarrlnia's eyes widened in alarm.
"No, but from now on, new registrations will be housed there." He noticed her distress. "Are you hoping to get something from there?" He giggled as no ordinary one can enter than.
"Will they fire people who are still working there? Will there be new jobs?" Melarrlnia felt she'd ignored his question. "I don't want anything from there; my mom works as a lagoroll."
"Lagoroll?" he asked, wondering.
"Yes! I want to work as a quirt."
"As a quirt? You live in a little fantasy world." He chuckled. "Did you learn Cross-trops, Farfem, Zilligger phort techniques?"
"I will from next year," she replied defiantly.
"Next year?" Ferlin couldn't hold back his laughter. "Many people learn these chapters way before they're fifteen and still struggle to master them. And you think you can start next year?"
"Really?" Both Melarrlnia and Vivianna exchanged glances, their excitement tempered by uncertainty. "What should we do now?" She was sad. "My dad would never let me learn magic until I turn twenty-one."
"You're not twenty-one?" Ferlin exclaimed.
"I'll be next spring," Melarrlnia replied, a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Why doesn't he let you learn?" Ferlin asked, curious.
"He thinks magic strains us, so after we grow up, we can learn as much as possible."
"Who is your father?" Ferlin inquired.
"Galiyan Evanthess Nixon. He used to work at VallroxLock."
"Both your parents worked there, so you think you can make it?" he teased.
"No," she giggled, though her disappointment lingered.
"I know how to use them," he said, determination sparking his eyes.
"Good! Will you teach us, please?" Mel and Vivianna chimed in eagerly.
Ferlin knew he don't have time for such things, but the innocent looks on Melarrlnia's face made him relent. "Okay, okay! You folks, meet me tomorrow evening at the same place."
As he turned to leave, he glanced back for one last look at Melarrlnia. She nervously turned to him and got caught, they both smiled, blushing at the unexpected connection.

Malarrlnia searched for her book, "How Ixellias Fox Caught the Magic of Eloiris Dlextor," a classic tale about two witches who can't stand each other and the journey they undergo. Unable to find it, she called for her mom but received no response. Growing more anxious, she decided to search for her mother. After checking the garden and confirming no one was home, she went to her parents' room in hopes of finding her book there.
Instead, she stumbled upon a book with a completely unrelated topic she had never seen before, so she decided to read it.
"Trambtlus gazle Trifunz" she read.

Hearing the familiar jingle of her mom's ankle bracelet, Malarrlnia quickly closed the book, placed it back where she found it, and dashed to her room, pretending to have just woken up from the noise of the door unlocking.
"Hey, Mom, can I have my book?" she asked innocently.
"Okay, Starling." Her mother handed it to her and asked why she was home so early.
"Vivian is going to meet Herbert, so..." Malarrlnia trailed off, terrified to meet her mother's gaze. Silviya nodded, gave her the book and returned to her room, leaving Malarrlnia with her unease.
With her book in hand but still feeling anxious, she set off to meet Viviana and Ferlin. They headed to the bank of the river by the well, a place they frequented.
Malarrlnia wanted to tell Vivian about the book but feared it might cost her their friendship. Vivian lifted a fallen branch using her wand.
"What if he sees us using magic?" Malarrlnia asked, giggling.
"I thought about that too, but do you think he's dumbed enough to believe us?" Vivian replied. "He seems to be acting dumb just to talk to you," Viv shot back.
"I know!" Mel grinned.
"Hey, Let's go!" Vivian declared, and they flew over to Ferlin for practice.
"Evening, my enchanting darlings! Are you going to cast a spell on me? Oh, wait I must be silly" he teased, chuckling.
Vivian exchanged a glance with Malarrlnia, as if they were about to pounce. "Jill am fro ber ausen!" she chanted, stunning him.
He levitated before crashing onto Vivian's broom, which she commanded to dump him in the river. As the broom started to move, he screamed and managed to tumble off.
"Oh, my evil witches!" he sighed, and they both laughed, worried he might cast a spell on them.
"Forgive us, sorcerer! So, you thought we didn't know magic?" Vivian and Mel laughed felling on each other.
"Malarrlnia is too weak to handle level 7 magic, so we don't often practice it," Vivian added.
"Why not?" Ferlin asked.
"I get tired easily, but when I sleep, I feel normal," she explained. "So, I want to learn high level!" She exclaimed.
"Okay, which one? But I'll teach you tomorrow because you witches are late"
"Waranthurs Abagtilus."
"Can't you ask for something normal? You just said you get tired, and anyway, that's level fourteen. You might die!"
"I want to learn it anyway," Malarrlnia insisted, though she hesitated to ask him about "Trambtlus Gale Trifunz."
"Do you want me to teach you how to summon rain?" Ferlin asked.
"No, no!" both girls shouted.
"Okay, calm down?"
"Where do you live?" Vivian asked, her curiosity piqued. She is so curious about this mysterious young folk. "Ferlin?" She must question that again as he is busy staring at Mel.
"In Tolochant Al," he replied, referring to a poor society.
"So, what do your parents do for a living?" Malarrlnia inquired.
"Do you know Avilin Cluyusa?"
"Yes," Vivian nodded.
"She adopted me when I was just a baby," Ferlin said.
"You're adopted?" Malarrlnia blinked in surprise.
"Yes."
"Do you know your real parents?" Vivian pressed.
"I don't, and I don't want to know them," he replied flatly.
"Why not?"
"It's not like they care about me," he shrugged.
"We don't know what really happened right?"
"I don't care"
"Well, that's up to you," Vivian said, trailing off.
"Where are you from?" Ferlin asked.
"I'm from Yexton, and Malarrlnia is from Wexton Blonch," Vivian replied.
"Wexton Blonch? I know someone there," Ferlin said, his cheeks coloring slightly.
"Who?" Malarrlnia asked, her jealousy bubbling beneath the surface.
"Someone I used to know," he slightly blushed, the conversation pausing for a moment.
"It's almost evening, and tonight is a blue moon, so let's head home," Ferlin suggested, changing the subject.
They parted ways on their brooms, and Malarrlnia fought the urge to look back at Ferlin. But she couldn't resist and tured to him. His eyes were already on her, and when their eyes met, he waved goodbye. She smiled as if she felt alive.
"Let's stop at the Zkillial; I want to pick up some herbs," Vivian said.
"Viv! You don't need to make a brew every day!" Malarrlnia protested.
"I can make almost every brew from Brew-nitty!" she exclaimed.
"You've already completed the Kawlenzer's," Malarrlnia reminded her.
"Last week, yes!" Vivian screamed, directing her broom toward the Zkillial mountains and landing somewhat clumsily.
"Don't do that again!" Malarrlnia ordered, holding her head.
Vivian rummaged through her bag, which was surprisingly spacious, and pulled out a book from her tiny bag that looked like it could not hold more than just a crystal ball.
"Look for Vitics, Al Al, Crluptus, Lapticus, and if possible, an owl egg," she instructed.
"Owl egg? You know I can't do that! I don't want to kill an owl. Don't you remember what happened to Drew?" she yelled as Drew is Mel's Owl.
"What are you searching for?" Malarrlnia asked.
Viv looked and ignored her.
"Viv!"
"Love Valentines," Vivian said, smirking.
"Ah, you're making a love potion!" Malarrlnia teased.
"Don't say that out loud!" Vivian replied, blushing.
"So, what are you guys doing this week?" Malarrlnia asked.
"Maybe going to Lovlling Hearts?" Vivian cheeks flushed as they both giggled with excitement.
Lovlling hearts, a place where the guy takes his girl to tell her that he wants her for a lifetime no matter what.
They worked tirelessly to gather all the herbs, and Vivian finally said, "So, only Milzses is missing."
"Mel," Vivian prompted.
"What?" she replied, confused.
"So, you like Ferlin?" Vivian teased.
"He looks like the guy I fell for," Malarrlnia admitted.
"Red roses?" Vivian tapped Malarrlnia playfully.
Red roses were given by a man to his lady to express his desire to be her boyfriend.
"You like him too?" Viv countered.
"No, red roses! Wait, Viv! Are you dumb? I met him yesterday!" she pushed her playfully. "Wait... too? Did he say he likes me?"
"Did he answer any of my questions?" Vivian asked.
"He did!" Malarrlnia exclaimed.
"To whom?" Both girls fell silent, as Mel was realising and Viv was waiting for Mel to realise.
"To me!" Mel giggled.
"He never answered me; he always looks at you to answer my questions, as if you would punish him if he talked to me!" Vivian teased.
"Stop it, Viv!" Malarrlnia protested, her face burning.
"I've never seen you blush!" Vivian laughed.
"Okay, let's go," Malarrlnia said, trying to regain her composure.
"I will from now on!" Vivian teased, patting Malarrlnia on the back as they gathered their herbs and headed home.
Silviya was waiting for Mel as its blue moon night.
"Hi, Mrs. Nixon!"
"Hey, Viv, come on in."
"I have to leave early; I need to store these herbs before they dry out."
"What did you get?"
"I got some Vitics, Al Al, crluptus, lapticus, and tiffians. I couldn't find a milzss," she replied, her disappointment evident.
Silviya handed her a bunch of milzses.
"Oh my god, thank you so much! Where did you find this? We searched all over the hills!"
"Beside the lake."
"Oh, do you have an owl egg too?"
"No, dear, I used it a week ago. I can get you one from Stragous Lorn."
"Really? Can you do that? When I ask anyone else, they look at me as if it's a crime! It's so hard to get. Can you bring me two, or even three, if possible?" Her excitement was palpable.
"What do you do with those brews?"
"I just learn them and use them in small quantities." she was excited.
"Oh, I remember when I got my first cauldron." she mesmerized.
They chatted a bit and Viv left early as it is twilight
As Viv left, Silviya felt calm now that Mel was home. The drum music began to play throughout Nelblinxton, signaling the townsfolk to stay indoors as it is blue moon.
They locked the house and sat down, Melarrlnia not wanting to discuss anything. Finally, Galiyan arrived. She rushed to greet her dad at the door. He brought a whole assortment of artifacts: spell books, potions, a cauldron, a crystal ball, chains, and stones.
"Dad, what are all these? You don't have to bring everything at once."
"It's okay, sweetie! Here's your cauldron!" He beamed with excitement.
"Oh my god!" she exclaimed, equally thrilled.
"Remember, tonight you shouldn't make any brews."
"I know," she said, grabbing one of the books titled Brews Bewitched by Gloxy Tro Vildana.
Without telling anyone, she ran into the forest and began using her wand. As she cast spells and mixed ingredients, she noticed that they had been used before.
After Six Winters ...
Galiyan and Melarrlnia were walking home from VallroxLock.
"Dad, I feel tired. Can we fly home on the broom?"
She fell, and when he tried to wake her, she didn't respond. Suddenly, a golden aura began to shine from her. He cradled her in his arms and rushed home covering her with the mantle.
"Silviya!" he called out.
"What? Oh my god, Mel!"
"She's glowing with a golden aura!"
"She must have been out at night during blue moon. I can't believe she left!"
"It's all because of that Ferlin," he guessed.
"Relax, dear. Let's try to wake her up."
"If she hadn't gone out, maybe our plan would have worked on her?"
"How can we save her from this?"
"I think Chlant.."
"Shhh," Silviya interrupted not to say a word as Mel might wake up anytime soon.
Mel was awake and listening, she was pretending to still be asleep.
Once they calmed down, Mel opened her eyes. They warned her not to leave the house, especially at night.
Melarrlnia was on her way to Ferlin's house the next day, she spotted him landing in front of his home. Their eyes met, and she rushed to him, enveloping him in a tight embrace, tears streaming down her face.
"I don't want to stay with my parents anymore," she sobbed hugging him.
"I understand. Let's go somewhere—anywhere you want. I've saved up kossl just to live with you," he replied, his voice steady.
"I love you, Ferlin," she cried looking into his eyes and fell on his shoulder holding him even tighter.
He led her to the hills, away from prying eyes.
"I think my parents are performing witchcraft and rituals on me while I'm sleeping," she confessed, her voice trembling. "I'll never go back."
"What? Really?" Ferlin asked, concern etched on his face.
"I saw a few books that shouldn't be..."
Suddenly, their intimate moment was interrupted by two voices nearby.
"I really loved you!" a wizard yelled at his lover.
"No, you didn't" she yelled back.
"I did," the wizard replied, defensively.
"You're hiding something from me," she accused.
"I'm not!"
"You never take me anywhere, as if you don't want to be seen with me. You make me feel like I don't deserve you. It's all fake love!"
"That's not true!" he protested.
"It is. I'll never see you again!" She ran away.
He reached out to her, pleading for one last chance, promising he would never leave her again.
"I think I've heard those voices before," Melarrlnia said, her heart sinking.
"Yeah, it's them Niloria and her bizarre wizard," Ferlin confirmed, looking worried.
"Oh god, they didn't break up. Let's go to the river—no one will disturb us there."(FULL BOOK AVAILABLE IN AMAZON)
