"No doubt about it, Captain is incredible! Wahahahaha…"
Burgess raised his arms high, laughing loudly.
Doc Q, lying on Stronger, smiled mysteriously and said, "Even one of the strongest Warlords of the Sea isn't his match."
"Fufufu… Crocodile? He's nothing. We'll be Warlords soon enough," Lafitte added with a gentle smile, twirling his cane.
"You guys are underestimating Doflamingo," someone muttered. "That guy hasn't even gone all out yet. The real fight is just starting."
Bepo, wide-eyed and impressed, looked at Law and exclaimed, "Captain, he's really strong! We're saved!"
Law shook his head, replying coldly, "It won't be that easy. Doflamingo isn't someone who can be defeated so simply."
"What's wrong with you? Why are you always boosting the enemy and underestimating our side?" Sweetheart Queen snapped at him, clearly annoyed.
Betty shrugged and calmly said, "No worries. He'll soon realize how wrong he is."
At that moment, Doflamingo, embedded in a tree, let out a manic laugh.
"Today's rookies are really something. I'm honestly shocked."
"This sea is boiling over—finally, the new era is upon us! Fufufufufu…"
With a crash, the tree collapsed. Doflamingo darted toward Chris.
"Kid, it's been a long time since I met a rookie like you. You've really surprised me!"
"If you made it into the New World, you'd probably be a real big name."
"But today, you met me. You're not going to get that chance."
"I love crushing seedlings. And someone with as much potential as you needs to be eradicated in the cradle! Fufufufufu…"
Chris slowly descended to the ground, saying calmly, "Doflamingo, you just can't help yourself, huh? Always talking so damn much."
Veins popped out on Doflamingo's forehead—he was clearly enraged.
"Kid, do you really think you're that strong?"
"You know nothing about this sea. You don't even understand what true terror is!"
"Feel it for yourself—and don't die too easily! Fufufufufu…"
With a stomp, the ground cracked as he charged at Chris. His right hand turned jet black with Haki, and the aura around him became intense—completely different from earlier.
"Sorry, Doflamingo," Chris said, his own right hand coated in Haki, "But I think I understand this sea better than you."
Their fists collided—BOOM!
A burst of dark red lightning erupted from the point of impact, accompanied by a crackling ZZZZZZ sound.
BOOM—!!
An overwhelming surge of energy radiated out. The ground shattered, trees and plants were obliterated, and shockwaves spread in all directions.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
Down below, the crewmembers' eyes rolled back in their heads as they collapsed one after another.
"Bepo…!" Law saw him faint and quickly turned to look at the battlefield, frowning. "A clash of Conqueror's Haki… This guy is something else."
Doc Q looked at the sea of unconscious men and said with rare emotion, "So this is what the captain meant by a Conqueror's Haki clash. It's terrifying."
Burgess clenched his fists with excitement. "Strong—so damn strong! As expected of our captain!"
Lafitte adjusted his top hat, smiling slightly. "The captain told us before about the power of Conqueror's Haki clashes. I thought he was exaggerating… but now I see it with my own eyes—it's truly overwhelming."
Betty took a drag from her cigarette, glanced at the fallen crew, and said coldly, "We've got quite a few weak-hearted people on our ship."
Baccarat gently shook her head and said with warmth, "Can't blame them. These two are just too powerful."
At that moment, Doflamingo looked utterly shocked. "Who the hell are you?"
"A mere rookie… and you possess Conqueror's Haki? Who taught you?!"
Chris, calm as ever, expressionless, simply replied, "I already told you—beat me, and you'll get your answer."
Hearing the same words again, Doflamingo was furious, but he still laughed. "You're getting more interesting by the second. Someone with your potential… must be eliminated early. Can't let you grow any further! Fufufufufu…"
With that, the two vanished and reappeared mid-air, fists clashing once again—more bursts of dark red lightning erupted.
WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!
BANG BANG BANG!
They moved so fast, their figures blurred, constantly exchanging blows.
In less than a few seconds, they had clashed more than a dozen times, and the red lightning never stopped for a second.
Those watching could hardly keep up—eyes wide in disbelief, jaws practically dropping.
Suddenly, everything stilled.
The two fighters faced each other in midair.
Doflamingo looked exhausted, panting heavily, sweat beading on his forehead.
Chris, on the other hand, stood calmly, breathing steady, expression unchanged.
The difference was clear as day.
"Damn brat! Just how strong are you?!"
Doflamingo was furious—he was drained, while the other guy looked like he hadn't even broken a sweat.
For someone as prideful as Doflamingo, this was utterly humiliating.
His rage surged, burning like wildfire—he wanted to destroy the whole world.
