Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

"I'm just curious!"

Anna pouted when she saw that El still didn't seem willing to show his magic.

She couldn't help but act cute, a trick she often used to ask her father for something.

"Alright, fine! Let's see if you can pass Miss Filly's etiquette class test today. If you do, come find me tonight after Father and the others have gone to bed!"

El thoroughly enjoyed the way the little girl was acting spoiled toward him.

"Really? Then I'll go find Miss Filly for the test right now—you better not lie to me!"

Anna said as she started running back, excited and full of determination.

She couldn't help it—she had always been curious about El's magic.

Anna had already seen Elsa's magic many times when she was little, but El's magic, which didn't manifest until he was six, was completely different.

Moreover, she missed it last year because she failed the test and wasn't there to see it.

She wasn't happy about that even though she didn't say it out loud.

Now that she knew passing the test meant she could finally see El's magic, she was absolutely excited.

"You skipped class, didn't you? If you go back now, Teacher Filly is going to scold you a lot!"

"I'm not skipping class. I just told the teacher I wanted some fresh air and came out to see you. Just wait, I'll definitely pass the test. Hehehe."

Anna said as she ran, sticking out her tongue in a playful way.

El just smiled helplessly behind her and shook his head.

Over the past few years, this little girl had become increasingly mischievous.

...

"Going to find El again?"

Under Teacher Filly's watchful eyes, Anna returned but didn't say anything.

Filly knew she couldn't control this little troublemaker.

However, Elsa was different. She had been close to Anna since they were little, and she understood her sister well.

"Getting some fresh air??"

Elsa thought to herself.

That was definitely a lie.

Anna had definitely gone to find El.

"Shh! Don't let Teacher Filly hear! I had a hard time coming up with a good excuse to get away."

Anna quickly put her little hand over her mouth and made a "shhh" gesture.

Elsa shook her head helplessly.

That excuse was way too weak—she could tell it was a lie, and how could teacher Filly not see through it?

"Hey, Elsa!"

"Hm? What's up?"

"Can you tell me again what happened around this time last year? What exactly did El do? I want to hear it again."

"Oh? Haven't I already told you?"

"Alright! I'll tell you again, but there are some things I didn't see with my own eyes, like El's magic. I'll tell you what I saw."

Elsa's curiosity was piqued.

To be honest, she was also really curious about why El suddenly had such powerful magic last year, especially when he hadn't shown any magic when he was little.

El was really careful.

He chose a garden that was far away to practice, and everyone thought he didn't have any magic because he hadn't started training yet.

However, El wouldn't go into too much detail about it. It was better not to take risks before he had fully grown.

"Mm-hmm! I want to hear it! Elsa, please tell me!"

Anna began to act cute again.

"Alright, I remember that at the time..."

Elsa started speaking.

Teacher Filly, standing nearby, had a black line on her forehead.

"Wow! Really? You and Father saw the whole garden frozen as soon as you got there? That's so cool!"

Anna couldn't help but exclaim with excitement.

Then Elsa remembered Miss Filly, who had been left out, and smiled apologetically at her before returning to Anna.

"Of course! El was still very embarrassed then. Father sent people to take care of it, and the garden returned to normal. Alright, Anna, we can't talk anymore. Teacher Filly is getting impatient, so let's start the test!"

She turned to Teacher Filly and said, "Teacher Filly, Anna and I are ready!"

Anna, behind her, sulked and muttered, "You just don't want me to know that El has magic too! Father."

"Alright, my little princesses, the test starts now. This will be your final test, so are you ready?"

Filly said with a smiling face.

"Ready!"

"Of course, this time, I'm definitely going to pass!"

Elsa and Anna answered one after the other.

Then, Anna, who was behind Elsa, tugged at Elsa's sleeve.

"What's wrong now? The test is about to start, don't cause trouble, or Teacher Filly will get angry."

Elsa whispered, keeping an eye on Teacher Filly, making sure she wasn't looking before responding.

"Do you want to see El's magic?"

Anna whispered happily from behind.

"Hm? Didn't Father say no?"

"I have a way! Just tell me, do you want to see it or not?"

"Of course!"

Elsa was actually quite curious as well.

"Alright, let's start the test!"

After that, Elsa and Anna began their test with Teacher Filly.

As expected, no matter what the test was, Elsa remained calm and composed, her posture dignified.

Even though she was still young, she definitely had the kind of elegance that would amaze everyone when she grew up.

Anna, however, wasn't as smooth. While she could easily pass some parts of the test, she started struggling even though she wasn't sure why.

In the end, she managed to pass Teacher Filly's etiquette test.

"Alright, my little princesses, you've successfully mastered the royal etiquette. I'm so happy! I'll go tell His Majesty that you've passed!"

"Alright, you can go play now."

Teacher Filly said as she gathered her things, preparing to leave. His Majesty had invited her to stay at the castle this year to teach the two little princesses etiquette, but now it was time for her to go.

"Mm! Goodbye, Teacher Filly. We'll miss you."

Elsa and Anna said as they walked up and hugged her for a final farewell, watching her head toward the main hall of the castle.

"Yay! We finally passed!"

Anna quickly broke the sad mood with her excitement.
