The air was electric with tension as Alex and Sophia faced off against Francesca. The streets were empty, save for a few of Francesca's loyal soldiers, who stood watching with interest.
"You're making a big mistake, Francesca," Alex said, his voice low and even. "You'll never take Sophia alive."
Francesca's smile grew wider. "We'll see about that," she said, snapping her fingers.
Her soldiers moved forward, surrounding Alex and Sophia. Alex drew his gun, ready to take them down, but Sophia stayed his hand.
"Wait," she said, her eyes locked onto Francesca's. "I want to talk to her."
Francesca raised an eyebrow. "Very well," she said. "Talk."
Sophia took a step forward, her eyes blazing with determination. "You'll never win, Francesca," she said. "You'll never take control of this city."
Francesca laughed. "We'll see about that," she said. "You're just a foolish little girl, playing at being a mafia queen."
Sophia's face went white with rage, but Alex could see the calculation in her eyes. She was playing a game, and Francesca was just a pawn.
"I'm not a little girl," Sophia said, her voice icy. "I'm a woman, and I'll do whatever it takes to protect this city."
Francesca sneered. "We'll see about that," she said.
And with that, the battle began. Alex and Sophia fought off Francesca's soldiers, using every trick in the book to take them down.
But Francesca was relentless, using every resource at her disposal to try and take Sophia down.
As the fight raged on, Alex found himself becoming more and more desperate. He knew they couldn't keep this up for much longer.
They needed a plan, and they needed it fast.
But as he looked over at Sophia, he saw something that gave him hope. She was fighting with a ferocity he had never seen before, taking down Francesca's soldiers with ease.
She was a force to be reckoned with, and Alex knew that as long as they had her on their side, they might just have a chance to win.
But as the fight raged on, Alex couldn't shake the feeling that they were in grave danger. Francesca was not going to give up easily, and Alex knew that she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.
As the battle reached its climax, Alex found himself wondering if they would make it out alive.
