When teacher Chang entered the class, everyone sat at their desks and waited for him to begin speaking.
"Good morning, everyone. Today, we have new students joining our class."
Teacher Chang said, extending his hand toward the entrance. Two boys then entered the classroom.
One of them had dark black hair that gently fell on his forehead, creating a neat fringe, which stood out against his snow-white skin. His gray eyes reminded one of a foggy morning, with a cold and dark tint.
When he entered, the first thing he did was look at everyone in the class. The moment his gaze met Kim Sohee's, she immediately noticed his eyes.
"Did he just look at me? Why am I staring at him like this?"
Kim Sohee thought to herself. But at that moment, she quickly turned her gaze to the other boy who had entered with him.
The second boy had light hair that softly shimmered with golden highlights in the sunlight. His fringe was neatly styled to one side. His light caramel-colored eyes, like warm honey, were just as gentle.
Both of them had pleasant facial features. The difference was that the boy with black hair had sharper and more defined features, while the other boy's were softer and more delicate. The boy with black hair was also taller.
"He's about seven, maybe ten centimeters taller."
Kim Sohee thought again.
"Now, let me introduce them. This is Jeong Tae Ho," Teacher Chang pointed to the boy with black hair. "And this is Ho Su Min."
He pointed to the other boy with the light hair.
Ho Su Min gently smiled at everyone in the class, while Jeong Tae Ho just gave them a stern look. His gaze was so intense it was hard to tell whether he was angry or not.
"I hope we'll become friends," Ho Su Min said without stopping his smile.
"Alright, now let me assign your seats," Teacher Chang said, looking over the class until his eyes stopped at the back row, near the window. That's where Kim Sohee sat.
"Hmm... Oh! Jeong Tae Ho, you can sit at the back by the window. And you, Ho Su Min, sit in front of him."
"Okay," they both said in unison. But there was still a noticeable difference in their voices. Jeong Tae Ho's voice was cold yet louder, while Ho Su Min's was warmer, friendlier, and softer. They walked to their seats.
As soon as Jeong Tae Ho reached his desk, Kim Sohee looked at him.
"What?! Why is he so tall?!"
She thought. Jeong Tae Ho seemed even taller up close, as if he blocked out everything around him. So, she quickly turned her head, and this time her attention was drawn to Ho Su Min, who was already sitting at his desk.
"Hmm... Ho Su Min, right? He's a little shorter, and he looks kinder."
She thought about Ho Su Min this time.
"Now, let's begin the lesson," Teacher Chang said, starting to explain the topic.
Everyone in the class tried not to stare at the new students, but it was hard for them to hide their curiosity. As soon as Jeong Tae Ho sat down, the class fell silent. But Kim Sohee couldn't stop thinking about the image of Ho Su Min that had stuck in her mind. His light eyes, golden-tinged hair, and gentle smile.

"Hey! Jeong Tae Ho!" Ho Su Min called out to him, turning to face him.
"What do you want?" Jeong Tae Ho replied firmly, looking at Ho Su Min with his cold gaze.
"Do you think we've become the main topic of conversation in class?" Jeong Tae Ho leaned in a little closer to Ho Su Min, raising an eyebrow as if silently asking, "Are you serious?"
"Seriously? What do you think?" Ho Su Min replied aloud. In response, Jeong Tae Ho just chuckled slightly.
"Then I'll keep quiet."
"Then shut up. You're the one asking stupid questions," Jeong Tae Ho said, giving a small smile.
Meanwhile, everyone in the class couldn't take their eyes off them and continued to discuss the new boys, especially the girls who had liked them the moment they walked into the class.

The two of them stood in the hallway, taking a moment to process everything, when Pak Nuri suddenly broke the silence.
"You won't believe what I'm about to tell you."
She said excitedly, leaning against the wall.
"Go ahead, surprise me," Kim Sohee replied, out of breath, also leaning against the wall and slowly sitting down.
"Ho Su Min, the one with the light hair. I know him, and he knows me!"
Pak Nuri said, her eyes wide with surprise.
