We were sitting in class listening to Mr Crosby talk about chemical reactions. I heard loud screams and secretly looked at the direction of the screams. I sensed zombies attacking the school. I asked the professor if we could move to the front. He allowed it so we moved quickly. The others were curious but said nothing. I asked if I could use the restroom also. When he gave me permission I walked out and quickly switched their schoolbags with their zombie apocalypse kit. I found Cain and told him what was going on and asked that he take his friends and run. He pressed his hand against his ear and gave the orders. I walked in perplexed and the girls asked me what happened. I explained to them to quickly get up and run because the zombies managed to break in. They were about to say something when the window broke and zombies barged in. I kicked the table out of my way and pushed the girls out the door. We had our travel bags on so if anything happens we would be fine.
I found people on the floor being ripped to pieces. I kept pushing the girls towards the exit. One of the zombies saw us and ran towards us. He had gray papery skin. There was pus coming out a bite mark on his shoulder. His jaw looked like it was broken. His eyes were blank and his teeth were yellow. It was drooling profusely. He kept open and shutting his jaw as though he was asking permission to take a bite. I took a fighting stance and suddenly it stopped approaching us. I asked them to stand behind me and walked carefully. They did as I ask and we managed to get out. We ran as towards the nearest car and locked the door to make sure no one else got in. I sat shotgun while Irene was going to drive. She discovered that the key was missing. I asked Irene to take my place in the passenger seat so I can try something. I hot wired the car and drove. I saw the zombies attack the werewolves and decided to run the zombies over with my car. I ordered Cain to get in the car. He gave me a smile and ordered his men to run towards the SUVs. They drove off in a different direction. We drove away towards the woods. We have seen enough movies to know that it will be a safe place. Since there would be less people there. On the way to the woods we saw that a few people of the faculty were running towards us waving their hands to say wait for us. Sonja figured out that I was going to stop to get them so she told me not to let them in since they are more likely to throw us out of the car. I got scared and floored it. We heard them scream for help as I drove as fast as I could. There were a few hairpin turns here and there that I had to make before I saw the army of trees. I drove till the car ran out of gas. We were finally on our own. The entire time I was driving the girls were saying that the military did it. Zombies showed up because they were angry at us for saying this is not their grandma's house. They did create this thing I am sure. I sensed that these zombies were different than the ones shown on TV. The ones on TV looked like the ones on zombie movies. They looked like they just want to eat all the day long. But these guys looked like regular people with an urge to commit murder with the most amount of violence.
We set up a place to stay and I ran to get a couple of tents in the opposite direction. On the way I saw another type of zombie that is more like the ones in the movies. Pale, whitish complexion as though someone had used a knife to scrape their faces, sluggish and also hungry. I was surprised enough to stop and they actually made a path to let me walk without being attacked. I realized that these guys can't stand being near me for some reason. Being what I am is not the reason they want to stay away. I tried to remember what the apocalypse store guy said about Zombies. He explained to one of his customers that these things can't stand going near people who has some serious illness. Like the rest of us these things only eat the healthy. I realized that some residual trace of my illness was still around. Now instead of hurting me it is defending me. About time it did something productive for a change. I smiled smugly and ran to find a tent and whatever I can to take back to the girls. When I got to the supply store it was almost empty. The only things that I managed to swipe were a few tents and get back to the camp in no time. We pitched the tent and I ran back to the convenience store to see if there was anything. There was none so I had to run to the nearest city to get the groceries. I got enough supplies for a month and ran back to the girls.
They were talking to a couple of girls. They had bags of guns but they had no food. I guessed that these girls like to raid people for their stuff leaving them hungry or leave them for dead at the mercy of the zombies. So I quietly stole their guns and replace them with rocks. I announced myself and these new comers jumped in fear. I walked with bags of food and we started to cook. They introduced themselves as Macy and Tanya. I told them to be on their way after dinner or I will escort them away. They looked at me weirdly and the others asked me what was going and I explained that these are raiders. They are here for food and they will use deadly force to get it. Sonja started to give them dirty looks. After dinner I told them to leave and they pull their guns from behind them and demand our food supply. I told them to go fetch it themselves. This new world is not for the lazy ass. This convinced them to shoot into the air. I wanted to lunge forward but decided otherwise. I swiftly changed the contents of the grocery bag and threw it over their heads to where I knew the zombies were. They gave me a dirty look and left. I quickly disassembled everything and we left as fast the girls could run. I had left the guns in the same ditch so if they meet the zombies they should be safe. I heard gunfire and knew that they met them. The others decided that their legs weren't move as fast they like but they picked up the pace too. Irene thanked me for my quick wit. I quietly chuckled as I heard them swear revenge on me for outwitting them.
We decided that we should get our family and leave together so we will be safe. The first ones we decided to approach was Annie's parents. But they were already zombies. It broke Annie's heart that she had shoot them in the head. We buried them and get them a decent funeral. We mourned their deaths with her before we left to find the others. Next was Daisy's parents. We found out that her dad was killed but her mom had survived. Retrieving her was a challenge. She was hiding in the prison along with Irene's, Sonja's and my mother. Alice and her mother was there too. This made things a little complicated but we left anyway. This was our family were talking about. I saw that there was an army of zombies standing in the path of the prison but I just kept walking. The girls first protested till I explained where their family were then they calmed down. The girls were intrigued when they saw that the zombies didn't harm me. Onwards to the prison we go! Wait did I just say that we are going to prison like it was good thing. This zombie apocalypse is making me saying stupid things and it just has to end now.
