Chapter 174: World Heroes Mission Arc (5)
~Flect T. POV~
[Nighttime, Otheon, Humarise Main HQ, Europe]
Waiting within my inner monastery base, observing my scrambling members of Humarise running around. My expression frowned deeply at the situation I found myself in.
That damn blasted scientist! Damn, that blasted Soul bastard!
Clenching my hand tightly, the Pro Heroes are somehow finding all the bombs hidden in place around the world. The requiem for change jeopardized learning from our informants within the Police Force we've been found out.
Every hero is securing the bombs, gritting my teeth, enraged. Alan Kay… I should've executed him with that damn Soul if I did, I wouldn't be in this situation.
*Beep*
Opening the monitors showing the heroes dismantling our forces, I glared hatefully at the heroes charging into our holy land. Everything…
Everything that Humarise has built. The years we bleed for this moment…
This very holy day was squandered in an instant, allowing one of the scientists to slip away from our grasp. Not only that, but the heroes also wouldn't have known who Alan Kay who was not only focused on rescuing him.
Yet here we are. The parasites of Quirks need to end.
*RMBL*
The building shook as my plans. My lifelong goals are gone…
The feeling of building rage filled me. Gazing at the monitors revealed multiple fellow brothers and sisters born cursed with Quirks were being dealt with like nothing in crushed beneath their feet.
Leviathan. Rogone. Serpenters. And many more fall to them.
Glaring hatefully at the heroes rushing in dealing against everyone, they would soon come to my quarters. If that's the case, then I won't even allow them the chance to disable the bombs.
Gazing above the statue of the angel holding the accursed light baby. I decided to take those heroes with me.
If I can't realize my dream of salvation for this world. Then, at the very least, those heroes won't live to the light of day –
*BOOOOM*
My eyes turn to see the heroes charging in. Eyes glued to their presence as if nothing they do will affect what's going to happen.
After all, thanks to my cursed meta-ability [Reflect]. My disease reflects any attack and its effect back on its user. Even storing attacks for later use, as I saw through the monitors, they have nothing –
*SWOOOOSH*
Both heroes rushed at me, reeling their fists together and ramming their attack at me as they lunged full speed ahead like utter fools, "[DOUBLE UNITED STATES OF WORLD SMASH]!!!"
I merely scoffed at the notion they – ACK!!!
*SMASH*
*BOOOOOOM*
I only had a second to understand as their fists slammed my face somehow nullifying my [Reflect] completely. I felt my brain tremble shaken badly as I was slammed into the ground by their destructive force.
My thoughts fled as terror grasped my mind – WHO THE HELL ARE THEY?!!!
Next, all I see is darkness…

~Ren Y. POV~
[Nighttime, Otheon, Humarise Main HQ, Europe]
*BOOOOOM*
Slamming my fist against that idiot Flect Turn along with All Might going for a [United States of World Smash] might've been a bit much. Overkill if we double that to him.
Standing up, I saw Izuku fly ahead to their control room, where they operated on the bombs. As for Bakugo and Shoto, they helped ring up the remaining Humarise Members with All Might fucking their shit on all of them.
Not gonna lie the man is fucking efficient when he does his job. That and Flect Turn against me was simply a bad counter with my [Negation] Quirk.
That alone gives me the win. Since he has such a useful Quirk, I'll add [Reflect] into my arsenal of Quirks for me to use.
They'll certainly come in handy against the villains when the war starts. But it's such a shame this guy fell hard on life.
Despite his self-righteousness, Flect Turn ultimately shows that he is a hypocrite in many ways, as despite viewing Quirks as a sickness and claiming that he rejects his own, he and his followers have no compunction in using their Quirks to aid in their plans.
While claiming that he loves humanity and wishes to save it, he is willing to force the Quirks of innocent people to go berserk using deadly amounts of Ideo Trigger, all the while watching the bloodshed and mass destruction of his actions unfold.
These hypocritical values have also reached his acolytes, as while some of his followers genuinely believe his ideals, others simply joined him so their lives would be spared from his genocidal plans.
Perhaps worst of all, by forcing people to lose control of their Quirks, he is causing the very thing that the Quirk Doomsday theory predicts and the apocalypse that he claims he is trying to stop.
In the end, Flect proves to be a twisted, remorseless, and incorrigible villain, believing that the only way to save humanity is through the bloodshed and annihilation of Quirk users and society, rather than helping people like himself.
Hell, Izuku pointed this out, saying that Flect could have tried harder to connect with others instead of giving up on his misery and despair. Even then, however, Flect refused to waver or see the wrong of his actions, referring to the young hero as filth and declaring his hatred for Quirk society.
Such a pathetic fool to the very end. It's such a handy Quirk to have if I know what I'm doing. Better to get a clone to do it for me transferring the Quirk later.
Obtaining some blood samples of Flect Turn for his [Reflect] Quirk, I turned my attention to Izuku arriving back. Taking off his helmet, he smirked, giving us a thumbs up, "The bombs have been defused! We stopped the villain's ploy of detonating them!"
All Might smiled as I cuffed Flect Turn in negation cuffs, depowering his Quirk. All Might spoke up as Bakugo and Shoto arrived on the scene, "Splendid job, all of you! It was thanks to your efforts that we managed to stop Humarise this quickly before the situation could escalate."
Shoto nodded his head as Bakugo did the same but scoffed. Izuku just rubs his head, embarrassedly blushing at the praise.
Stand up, Izuku you are strong today. But it was when we all laughed at a job well done.
Nearly everything has been resolved here in Otheon. Nearly everything just needs to do some final things here in Europe…

[Later Mid-Night, Gollini Family HQ, Italy, Europe]
*SPLAT*
Coughing up blood in the middle of the night, I grinned, meeting the last remains of the Gollini Family, Valdo Gollini, as he grasped my hands, yelling at me, "Why… Why… WHY HAVE YOU WIPED OFF THE GOLLINI FAMILY BASTARD!!!"
After gaining intel on their location through my sources, it was time to nip this issue in the bud before he could become a threat in the future. Given a little time, my clones did work wiping this bloodline off the face of the Earth.
Tightly holding onto Valdo Gollini, I smiled, thanking myself for saving some slots spared for their members Quirks. [Day Dream] was especially helpful in obtaining as Quirk allows the user to make any person the user looks at fall unconscious or to be put in a controllable, hypnotic state for a short period.
Once the user has locked onto a target just by sight alone, the victim's mind will be stuck in a dream-like world where they live out their deepest dreams and desires, rendering them nearly comatose. Under normal conditions, she is only able to activate her Quirk on one person at a time.
They make for great ways to gather information from the mind. It eventually led me to all the other Gollini Family members to their thugs and henchmen.
I already learned that Valdo Gollini managed to locate where my other target was. And learning they were about to preemptively attack, taking the Quirk User with [Overmodification] is when I'll take ALL of the mafia family out.
No one will be able to take her Quirk. That kind of upgrade is what I need to go beyond my current level of power.
Ensuring the end of the Gollini Family, I made sure to take EVERYTHING from them. And I meant EVERYTHING of their wealth to their very lives for me to take.
Sadly, wiping them out. Thankfully Valdo here took out his father and his faction leaving me easy work to wipe them out.
I made sure to take every Quirk blood sample from them during this raid. After all, the Golloni Family was a Family of Spatial Quirk Users, the rarest type of Quirks this world has to offer.
*SNAP*
[You gain 0 EXP due to your [New Order]!]
Clenching my fist wrapped around his neck, smiling, I took care of the trash that was Valdo Gollini. And to make it even better…
*Shiii*
Using his Quirk [Alchemy] that I've copied, he turned his corpse into solid pure gold. I have to say this Quirk will be handy.
Skill List.

Description: [Day Dream] allows the user to make any person they look at fall unconscious or be put into a controllable, hypnotic state for a short period. PP Cost: Varies
Description: [Alchemy] allows the user to transmute the matter of any object they touch. The user can create nearly anything they desire, from a simple bullet to more complex objects, such as fully operational drones that can record live videos.
The transmuted object does not have to take a physical form and can have its state of matter morphed into forms like water or glowing kinetic energy, the latter of which can produce powerful shockwaves. But they must use their HANDS to activate this skill.
----
Annoying that I couldn't fully alchemist it, I sighed. But hey at least I'm making bank using the corpses of my enemies into something worthwhile.
I wonder if the term blood money works here. Meh. I doubt it.
Shrugging shoulders unbothered by the idea I've got what I needed from the dead Gollini Family, next was the Scervino Family. It's about time I finally got both of those Quirks from them.
[Overmodification] and [Neutralization] are finally within my grasp. All that's left is to finally take them from the Scervino Family, finally completing evolving my Quirks to a state where I can control the Quirk Singularity Theory.
[Overmodification], in a way, resembles the embodiment of the Quirk Singularity theory, that Quirks will continue to change and rise in power to the point of becoming uncontrollable. But not me when I'm done, although I'll need to hide my involvement in obtaining – no that wouldn't work…
Hmm… on second thought, why not meet them in person? Grinning at the idea, why not simply go in saying I have a way to cure Anna Scervino of her Quirk issues forever with my abilities?
I'll need to carefully phrase my words, and if it works… then this world is utterly fuck when I cannot only evolvequirks but permanently erase them. Hero, villains, no, everyone with a Quirk will be worried about me.
That's the right kind of power I'll need to reign the world if the people want to erase Quirks for good, pulling a Marvel Mutant Extermination move. Someone gotta be powerful enough to see the world, right?
