Ahalya was shocked by his proposal.
Ahalya: How can you say that... out of the blue?!
Agastya: I liked you, so I said it. That's it.
Ahalya: But for me... if I want to like someone... I need time.
Agastya: That's fine... take your own time.
They were laughing, talking, and having fun together. As the evening approached...
Ahalya: It's getting late... I should go.
They both stepped out of the restaurant.
Ahalya: See ya... bye.
Agastya: Love you too.
Ahalya(shocked): I said bye!
Agastya: Really? But I heard "Love you."
Ahalya(blushing): Stupid.
Agastya(softly): Love you...
She went home, and to her surprise, her parents had planned something. There was cake and gifts waiting for her. She spent some joyful time with them.
It was almost 11 PM when she received a call from Agastya.
Agastya: Hello?
Ahalya: Hello.
Agastya: Sleepy?
Ahalya: A little.
Agastya: Want to sleep? Should I hang up?
Ahalya: No, no... talk to me. Don't worry.
Why haven't you slept yet?
Agastya: How can I sleep without saying good night to you?
Ahalya felt shy and started talking in a softer tone, which sounded even more lovely to Agastya.
Agastya: How was your day?
Ahalya: One of the best days of my life.
Agastya: And... what am I to you?
Ahalya(suddenly): Lov— (pauses)
Agastya: Lov... what? Say it completely.
Ahalya: Loafer.
Agastya: What?!
Ahalya: Do you know what they call a lazy person? It's "loafer."
Ahalya started laughing loudly.
Agastya: Only you can say that to me.
Ahalya: What?
Agastya: That you love me.
They kept talking and laughing... and before they knew it, it was 3 AM.
Ahalya: Okay then, take some rest. Good night.
Agastya: Okay, good night.
Ahalya: Bye.
Agastya: Love you too.
Ahalya(shocked): I said bye!
Agastya: But I heard "Love you."
Ahalya: Stupid.
It was the holidays. Ahalya was bored sitting at home when suddenly a message popped up on her phone.
It was Agastya.
Agastya: Getting bored? Let's meet?
Ahalya smiled upon seeing his text.
Ahalya: Okay... what time?
Agastya: Get ready and call me. I'll pick you up.
She got ready and called him. He arrived near her home on his Bullet, wearing a leather jacket and blue jeans. As Ahalya came down the stairs, she was stunned by his charm.
Ahalya (in her mind): How could I ever miss this guy?
Her heart was racing, and butterflies fluttered in her stomach. Just as Agastya was about to wear his sunglasses, he saw Ahalya—her hair straight with soft curls at the ends, wearing a yellowish-pink top, black jeans, and a black jacket.
Oh my god... what a scene! You can imagine, right?
She walked toward Agastya. He pulled her gently closer, tucked her hair behind her ear, and said,
Agastya: "I hope you know CPR, because you just took my breath away."
Ahalya: Agastya... Agastya... are you even listening?
Agastya: Ahh... ahh...
He was just daydreaming all of that.
Agastya: Chee...
Ahalya: What?! Was it something bad?
Agastya: Nothing... come, let's go.
Ahalya: Okay.
Ahalya sat on his bike.
Ahalya: Where are we going?
Agastya: Come, I'll show you.
They went to a beautiful, green place with benches and peaceful surroundings. No one else was there. It was the perfect spot to spend time together.
They sat on a bench, some distance apart. After a while, Agastya moved closer. He gently placed his hand on her shoulder while they continued talking. Eventually, Ahalya leaned on his shoulder. They spent about two hours there. She started feeling hungry.
They drank juice, had lunch, and took a few selfies together. Later, they went on a ride.
On their way back, Agastya was riding when Ahalya suddenly hugged him from behind. His stomach fluttered with butterflies, and he turned to see her face.
But a truck was coming straight at them...
Dshh...
Blood everywhere.
Nee-naw, nee-naw, nee-naw...
The ambulance rushed to the scene.
Agastya was covered in blood and shouting—
Agastya: Nothing will happen to you, Ahalya... you'll be fine!
Because Agastya wore a helmet, his injuries were minor. But Ahalya's were severe.
He held her hand while she wore an oxygen mask, gazing into his eyes.
She gestured for him to come closer. He leaned in.
Ahalya (softly): I love you...
Tears welled up in her eyes, and a drop rolled down her cheek.
Agastya: I love you too... nothing will happen, we'll be okay.
She was taken into the ICU.
Agastya, crying heavily, called her parents and Siddh.
He completed all the hospital formalities and sat silently in a corner, head bowed.
Siddh came running to him.
Siddh: Macha...
Agastya looked at Siddh, glanced toward the ICU, and then back at him.
Agastya: Macha...
His hands were trembling as he hugged Siddh tightly and burst into tears.
Siddh: Ahalya is a strong girl. She'll be fine.
Despite his own injuries, Agastya collapsed on Siddh's shoulder.
He too received treatment and was asked to rest.
Meanwhile, the doctors were doing everything they could in the ICU, but they hadn't given any updates yet.
Morning came. Agastya slowly opened his eyes in the hospital bed, trying to recall everything.
Agastya: Ahalya... Ahalya...
He tried getting out of bed, but his friends stopped him.
Agastya: How's Ahalya? I want to see her. Let me go.
Siddh: Who? Who's Ahalya?
Agastya: Ahalya, ra! Don't joke around—let me go, I want to see her!
Agastya pushed Siddh, trying to get past him. Suddenly, Siddh pushed him back hard and yelled—
Siddh: There's no one called Ahalya here! Look at your condition... just rest!
