Amelia's pov
"WILL YOU HAVE THIS DANCE LADY AMELIA" I heard Alex say to me
The hall quickly fell silent with so many shocked faces....however, one person was unwilling to accept it
"This is unnacceptable and totally absurd, i will not take this!!!" Lauretta said, so loud that everyone in the hall snapped back to their senses and focused on her .soon, she caused a great sensation among the crowd and everyone started to mummur and whisper
"This is so gonna be epic" lady A who came for the party said
"That serves her right,she thinks she is better than everybody here" Lady B said. Although she was jealous that the prince didn't come for her she was also happy that Lauretta was embarrased
"Son!, what is the meaning of this nonsense". Queen Ashley said angrily
"Ashl...."
"Oh not now King Roland" Queen Ashley said back and faced Alex
"Alex..."
"Mother she is my choice and won't change anything no matt...."
"Noo! I think i should leave now, u shouldn't disobey your mother" Amy said with tears in her eyes as she turned to leave, but Alex drew her back and held her waist, Amelia gasped
"You are having this dance with me whether you, my mother or anyone here likes it or not and that is final" Alex said but Amelia still managed to pull out of his grip and ran away....she couldn't take the embarrassment and she was also a shy person who wouldn't want to bring trouble to her only grandma.
"Amelia do not take any more steps"Alex said already getting upset
"Oh my prince if she wants to go let her go, afterall you have me" Lauretta tried to please the prince.
"Not one more word from you Lauretta, not one more word"Alex said
Alex slowly approached Amelia and held her again this time even harder so she won't escape
"Ahh...my prince you are hurting me" Amelia said as she cried
"If i leave you again you would escape and we wouldn't want that right? Amy?" He called her nickname
'Did he just call me Amy, only grandma calls me that,no not now Amelia focus....but he called me Amy gosh' she blushed in her thoughts
"I think I'd call you amy now because that name seems to make you like me more"Alex smirked
"Yes..no...i mean no, no it doesn't"Amy stammered
Alex then signaled the butler..the butler immediately understood what he said
"Music!!" The butler shoted and the music atarted playing
Peiple then cleared the road for Amelia and Alex as they went to the dance floor..
Meanwhile...
The queen and Lauretta were both angry but they could do nothing now and could only watch Alex dance with Amelia
"Nooooooo!" Lauretta screamed and ran out of the hall, she couldn't take the embarassment and her parents also left the hall
"Hahaha...look who finally left,I'm glad that i didn't approach the prince" Lady B snorted with laughter
"What a great movie" Lady A also joined the laughter.
Soon all the laughter died down and everyone focused on the soon to be couples as they imagined them to be.
"Raise your head Amelia and stop being shy". Alex coaxed
Amelia didn't want to do so but suddenly found her self succumbing to his requests and she slowly raised her head to meet his eyes and it seemed as if time froze for the next incoming minutes...Alex stared deep into her sapphire eyes and she stared into his emerald green eys.her eyes were sparkling with her beautiful dress, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his entire life since he was born and couldn't stop staring...drawing in closely as they were about to kiss Amelia broke eye contact first which caused Alex to be a bit annoyed but ye didn't show it on his face because it was their first meeting. He also thought he lost control of him self and comported himself.
"You dance wonderfully Amy". Alex said trying to change the topic after the akward moment. Amelia knew he was trying ti change the topic but she said nothing
"Thank you my prince, i was taught by my grandma" Amelia replied shyly
"Not bad" Alex said
Soon the dance ended slowly and they went away from the dance floor leaving room for whoever wanted to dance and soon the dance floor was occupied by people who wanted to dance....
"Why don't we go ou...." Alex was cut offby Amelia
"Oh my God the time, i need to.."
"You need to do what amy, take your pills so u wouldn't turn into a siren right?" Alex said with a smirk.as soon as he said it Amelia gasped
"How did you..."Amelia said with fright as she stepped back gradually
"Surprised, well i knew from that necklace over there"he pointed at the necklace that Amelia was wearing
"I have read alot about sirens and found about the necklace and the pills and i have great interest in them too" He smirked evilly as he approached Amelia too..her sixth sense kicked in and was signalling her to run but Alex already had that idea and caught her before she was able to execute what was in her mind.
"I would have just sucked your blood or cook and eat you here right now and also announce to the hall that i caught a siren but I'd leave you on one condition"Alex proposed and also chuckled when he saw her reaction...
"What condition" Amelia asked frightendly
"you would agree to marry me and be mine forever"...
"WHATTTT....."Amelia shouted
