The manticore breathes fire at 'Chuck' with everything in slow motion as his thoughts, "One insect burned to ash, followed by the others." Then he sees Flint appear from the flames, "WHAT?! WHEN?!" he sees Flint's sword pointed at him, "Hmm?"
Flint grins, "SUPERNOVA!"
The manticore feels its body shake, "WHAT?! AAARGGHHH!" its chest glows like the sun as it spreads across its body. The manticore is surrounded by a ball of extreme fire and light like a sun and shines. "AAAARRGGH!!- " Its scream ends. The light dies down to reveal ash.
Flint is covered in burnt marks as he stares at the ash before him.

Flint heaves a sigh of relief as he slumps down. The battle affected the area around them as it caused the monsters to keep their distance, this gave the soldiers room to breathe and exterminate the monsters.
"OOUUCH!" Chuck notices the situation he grabs the source of pain causing more pain. "Arrgghh. How do I have burns on my body?! My beautiful face! My lady catc- " *BANG* Aku punches him as he summersaults mid-air and lands with his butt facing the sky.
Aku looks at Chuck with disdain, "Men. They only care about their appearance." She stops and thinks for a moment, "Maybe Chuck alone does that." She walks over to Flint and uses HEALING RUNIC CIRCLE since the burns are over his body.
Flint looks at Aku, "Thanks sis."
"Don't mention it." Aku smiles and points to Chuck. "That thing can heal himself."
Chuck feels hurt, he whimpers as he uses HEALING RUNES as runes appear over the burnt areas and they start to heal.
*ROOAAAR HOOWWLL GROWL* The trio enter full alert as the hair on their back stands straight. The monsters….. are swarming them. They're surrounded by monsters on all sides, they're weak, wounded and exhausted. Flint tries to get his feet but falls, Aku supports him.
Chuck slides behind them with his shield ready, "Any crazy ideas, R*mbo?" Chuck looks back to see Flint's face, he pales then grabs Flint's collar. "HEY! DON'T JUST ACCEPT DEATH SO EASILY!"
Flint mumbles, "We're surrounded and no help in sight. Hoping to face life after this is just wishful thinking." Flint stands on his own feet.
Aku tries to support Flint incase he falls, "It's better to accept it and face it head on. It's the best option."
Chuck is taken aback, "Wha…. Yo…. I… don't…..die…"
Aku hits Chuck's back and laughs out loud so does Flint, "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Chuck looks at them like their crazy, "HOW CAN YOU LAUGH AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! WE. ARE. GOING. TO. DIE."
Flint shrugs, "Chill out LM (Ladies Man). If you took a look at them map, you'll notice Teacher arrived a few seconds ago with the soldiers."
Chuck has a blank look on his face. *BOOOM* Aella's voice echoes through the area. "CHARGE!" and the soldiers, "YAARRGGH!!" the rush through attacking the monsters. The Silver Crow cleared a path to the trio and surrounded them to protect them as the adventurers fought back, they aren't on horseback this time.
Aella looks at the trio as her thoughts, "So these are the brave warriors who fought the monster kings and won. Impressive." She was watching the fight with a Silver Crow pet that allowed them to see the fight but they couldn't help because they were too far. Her eyes falls on Chuck and she blushes….Wait What???
Aella shakes her head then focuses on the monsters around them. Flint didn't notice but she felt a chill down her spine and turns to Chuck, "Why do I feel like bad news is coming?". Chuck is weeping tears of joy as he looks to the sky with a smile of gratitude.
The adventurers push the monsters back mainly because the monsters lost their morale and were fleeing. Aella approaches the trio, "T….T.." she looks at Chuck then takes a deep breath. "Thank you for protecting this city, if not for you I doubt we'd be able to save it." A Silver Crow soldier, the one with the surveillance ability looks at the trio as her thoughts. "I wonder what rank are they?" They need devices to test the rank of people.
The trio is silent, Flint and Aku stares at Chuck with their jaws down. Chuck turns to them, "What?"
Flint places his hand on Chuck's forehead, "You're not sick are you?"
Chuck pushes Flint's hand off, "What's that suppose to mean?" He scowls.
Aku rubs her head, "Well at times like you tend to seek glory and go like. Ahem, *She tries very very hard to mimic a man's voice* 'Yes, it is indeed us, me Chuck the noble shield who shielded this city. *Aku grabs her chin and makes a turn with her head as her hair flutters* Also the one who shielded your hearts' and I'd get to smack you in the head."
"OH COME ON!" Chuck gives an exasperated expression. "I'm not like that...At least not for today."
Flint and Aku together, "Seeee!"
Chuck shakes his head, "You two are really siblings."
Aella watches and giggles at them, they didn't notice but the whole Silver Crow army is shocked to the core with a single thought in mind, "The Duchess actually smiled?!"
In moments they clear the streets of all monsters, the place looks desolate as corpses and blood litter the streets. They provide priests who heal the trio as they relax with the constant sight of magic flying in the distance and skills on display before them.
In a few hours, the monsters were repelled as they scattered and left the city. The adventurers and soldiers start to march towards the mountain for whatever that's there.
"WHAT?!" Chuck grabs the collar of a priest, "You mean the people are heading to that mountain?!"
The priest shivers in Chucks hands almost like a worm trying to wriggle out, "Yes yes yes. They saw the leader of this monster tide on the mountain and intend to subjugate it!"
Chuck drops him and rushes outside the city, he sees the siblings ahead of him and pushes himself to go faster. His wounds open but still runs, the same happens to Flint.
"STOOP!!!" Aku yells out to them, they trio yell multiple times before the army stops. Aella walks back to them, "What seems to be the problem?"
Flint looks at Aella dead in the eyes frightening her, "Whatever you do, don't go to that mountain. That monster is beyond out strength, we'll never win."
Sounds of horse steps is heard behind them as another batch of soldiers appears, these are mercenaries led by Razzle. Razzle is wearing shiny armor though his combat potential is piss poor. He arrives before Aella, "Duchess Zephan, I've brought reinforcements."
A terrifying oppressive pressure falls on them, the weaklings fall to the ground, so basically 80% of them. They look at the mountain as it now seems to be even higher than before, *THUD!* the are below the mountain is covered in dust clouds. The dust cloud clears to reveal a monster, a humanoid monster which looks to have scales or armor covering it. Red eyes that strike fear, a sense of ferocity.
Flint's teeth clash against each other as he appraises it but the monster raises its hand to block an attack but nothing came. It starts to walk towards them as a screen appears before Flint.

"Shet" Flint stares at the monster before him. His body refusing to move, he's not the only one incapable of moving. Some of them have even lost consciousness from its overwhelming pressure.
Chuck's thoughts, "How do you bluff a thing like this?! I'm sure it just enjoyed watching us taste victory for a moment."
The monster keeps closing the distance between them with a cruel smile on its scaly face
