Synopsis
Tobey is not just any ordinary child—he's a miniature disaster with the curiosity of a mad scientist and the imagination of a horror movie director. From kitchen sabotage to chloroform experiments gone awry, Tobey's insatiable appetite for exploration leaves destruction in his path. But beneath the chaos exists a family of three—[Mother], [Father], and Tobey—trying to balance love, punishment, and their own personal defects. As Tobey's behavior spirals from slapstick misadventures to more and more disturbing indications of his intelligence and emotional detachment, his parents are confronted with the frightening task of raising a child whose genius approaches horror. And through each moment of laughter, chastisement, and tearful compassion, they find that Tobey's universe is not merely a hurricane of chaos—it's an enigma waiting to be solved. But as Tobey's experiments achieve perilous new heights, can his parents salvage him from his own destructive actions? Or is there something infinitely darker behind the innocent smile?\ Join Tobey on his warped, riotous, and occasionally sorrowful journey in The World Through Tobey's Eyes.

Chapter 1 - Trouble child

"Bam—BOOM!"

The city was under siege. Unusual creatures—monstrous beings born from Sir Tobey's misguided attempt to create a force for good—rampaged through the streets. Instead of doing humanity a favor, his creation had turned catastrophic. Now, Sir Tobey was forced to take responsibility and eliminate his own errant experiment as it approached the heart of the city.

In the chaos, he discovered a giant creature—one that was a hundred times larger than the tallest building. With no time to explain how he planned to take down such a behemoth, Sir Tobey launched himself at the creature. Using his upgraded, bio-enhanced arms—capable of delivering blows that could topple a hundred elephants at once—he began his assault.

As the battle raged and his fists pounded the creature, an unexpected sound cut through the clamor:

[Mother, shouting at Tobey]

"Tobbbyyyy! Stop hitting me—it's time to eat! And why are there so many bottles, containers, boxes, and toys scattered everywhere? Clean this up now and come for breakfast!"

In Tobey's vivid imagination, the entire city transforms into an epic battlefield. The towering buildings become gigantic bottles, containers, boxes, and scattered toys—all parts of a monstrous creature he's determined to defeat. In his heroic fantasy, his mom is the embodiment of that creature. However, in reality, Tobey's playful blows are landing on his actual mom.

[Father, chuckling as he watches the scene]

"He's quite the creative boy, isn't he?"

Despite his fierce imagination, Tobey pauses, caught between his heroic fantasy and the real-world mess he's made.

[Mother, rolling her eyes]

"What's creative about that? He's just like you and your workroom!"

[Father, defensively]

"Honey, we don't talk about the workroom—and by the way, I'm going to be late tonight. I've got a huge load of work lined up today."

[Mother, in a cute way]

"Okay, darling."

[Father, clutching his chest]

"Aaaa! My heart!"

Tobey enters the room just as his dad dramatically reacts.

[Tobey, in a crying voice]

"What happened to Dad's heart?!"

Tears well up in his eyes, and within seconds, he starts bawling. His father, caught off guard, chokes on his cereal.

[Father, coughing violently]

"Cough—cough—"

[Mother, sighing while patting Father's back—harshly]

"See? You made him cry. Nothing happened to your dad, baby."

Tobey, instead of calming down, cries even louder.

[Tobey, wailing intensely]

"Waaaaahhhh!"

[Mother, exhausted, sighs]

"Why am I the one getting caught up in this?"

[Father, checking the time]

"Well, I'm getting late—it's almost 8:30 AM. I should get moving."

Father grabs his bag, heads to the shoe rack, and pauses before putting on his shoes.

[Father, smirking]

"Good job teaching Tobey about hearts. He's only five, after all."

[Mother, stretching her arms]

"Well, about that... I only taught him how to read. He picked it up pretty fast, so I got him some books."

[Father, smugly]

"You really are quite the teacher, aren't you?"

[Tobey, waving]

"Bye, Daddy!"

[Father, grinning]

"Aww, bye-bye, my little biologistsss!"

Father leaves for work.

[Mother]

"Now, Tobey, let's go read some books."

[Tobey]

"Momm, not today."

[Mother]

"Okay, so what's your plan for Sunday?"

[Tobey]

"I'm going to play with my toys."

[Mother]

"Let's go to the park instead."

[Tobey]

"No."

[Mother, shrugging]

"Okay, but once I start cleaning the house, I won't listen to you."

[Tobey, excitedly]

"Yay! Today, I will cut open a cockroach!"

[Mother]

"Baby, that's dissec— "Huh?" wait… what did you just say?"

[Tobey, quickly]

"Nothing."

[Mother, narrowing her eyes]

"Please don't do that. And when did you even find a cockroach?"

Tobey suddenly bolts toward his room.

[Tobey, shouting while running]

"Outside!"

[Mother, gasping]

"Not today, you little brat! Come back here and give me that cockroach!"

Mother starts chasing after Tobey.

[Tobey]

As soon as Tobey heard that, he bolted through the hallway and turned toward the kitchen.

[Mother]

"Tobey! Stop right now!"

While turning toward the kitchen, his socks slipped on the tile.

[Tobey]

"You have to catch me first!"

He barely regained his balance and kept running. His mother was right behind him, dodging a chair as she reached out.

[Mother]

"Tobey, if I catch you, that bug is GONE!"

As he rushed toward the kitchen, he started taking off his socks and threw one toward his mother's face.

[Tobey]

"Fire in the hollleee!!!!"

[Mother]

"Wait, what?"

A sock hit Mother's face, covering her vision.

[Mother]

"What is this? Your school socks smell like poop" —Ugh! — "Where have you gone now?" (in her mind) "He must be in the kitchen."

Mother walks toward the kitchen...
