Vlad arrived at his castle, his wings retracting and becoming invincible to those around him. A vampire carrying Celina in his arms approached him cautiously.
"Your Eminence, where should I keep this human?" He asked.
Vlad cast a single glance at her.
"Take her to my room"
"But, Your Eminence..."
"I will not repeat myself," Vlad said, turning away.
His subordinate lowered his head in submission as Vlad walked off. Without hesitation, he carried Celina to Vlad's bedroom and gently laid her on the gigantic bed. She was still breathing, but her body remained motionless.
He leaned in closer to her neck, expecting the usual irresistible scent of human blood. Yet, her was unappetising. Any vampire would feel the urge to sink their fangs into a human's neck, but with Celina, it was different.
Retracting his fangs, he straightened up and moved towards the door.
"I hope this human doesn't get close to His Eminence," he muttered before leaving.
